Best Plumbing Services in Anchorage, AK
Precision General Contractors remodeled my home inside and out. My house could not be seen from the road but now it is all open. So excited to plant grass! I am amazed at their quality and efficiency. They saved me lots of money! Would highly recommend using them for all of your home and property needs.

Burton Repair was outstanding! I have used their services twice and both times they were friendly, clean, and professional. They worked with me to keep the cost down, by advising me on supplying my own materials so all I paid was labor cost! I really appreciated their honesty and helpfulness. If I needed any future work done they will be my first call.

Absolutely hands down the best place in town! We have used them a few times over the years, but always a quick appointment time and their plumbers are the best in the business! Smart, get the job done efficiently, clean up after themselves and best of all are the kind of people you don't mind having in your house. I would highly recommend them without hesitation!

Roy at BRS Services did a wonderful job. We had two faucets that needed to be replaced. He worked quickly and proffessionally. We had purchased the faucets ourself. He removed the old ones and replaced with the new in only an hour and a half. Reasonable rates. We're glad we supported a small business owner. I will be recommending him to our friends.

I have used this company twice now for a couple of leaks. I found the service provided excellent. The plumber efficiently addressed the problem and patiently answered my questions about the process. They are less expensive than the other four or five plumbing services I have used in the past. I definitely believe you will not be disappointed.

Buyer beware: if anything goes wrong it will be blamed on you.
Sound Mechanical has absolutely MISERABLE customer service. It is apparently not within the realm of possibility that this company can make a mistake. When we mentioned to the owner that his workers left a beer bottle behind he told us we were lying and cussed at us. We could care less that there was a beer bottle left behind, just wanted him to know as a business owner. We also let him know that the dryer vent was now disconnected (they had to move the washer and dryer to get to the water heater). He informed me that someone must have moved the washer and dryer after they left. and that they definitely didn't do it. Spoiler alert, the washer and dryer are a million pounds and neither me nor my tenants touched it after they left. So now he has shifted blame to us for a beer bottle and a dryer vent. We also didn't care that they made mistakes, just wanted it fixed. The owner was irate that we pointed these things out and used foul language when speaking to us. Last two noteworthy items, they did not replace the bathroom door, they left it in my tenants bedroom, and they left crud all over the floor in their work area.
I asked if I could pay the $2550 I owed for services within 30 days, and the owner said that was unacceptable and that he would add a late fee if I didn't pay in full within 10 days.

They say they will come and fix your stuff then don't show up. No phone call either. Poor communication.

A year and a half ago during our kitchen remodel, our contractor brought in Jeff from Cassidy's. Jeff was awesome! He went above and beyond, and he called to let us know when he was running late. Based on that experience, my husband contacted Cassidy's for a bathroom plumbing issue last week.
Unfortunately, Jeff was not available so Justin was sent. He spent a couple hours and did part of the job and left at 5:00 saying he would be back the next day. At this point, we had two bathrooms torn apart for the project. Justin didn't show on Tuesday, so my husband called him. Justin said he got tied up and that he would come Wednesday morning. On Wed. afternoon my husband called the office and was told that Justin was loading our materials and would be right over. No show. Thursday, again no show. On Friday my husband called and also texted Justin -- no response, no show. Today, Monday (a week later), my husband called the office to notify the office manager that we would find another contractor. She asked for patience and said Justin would arrive between 2 and 4 today. No show (no surprise by now).
Do yourself a favor and find a plumbing company that keeps their promises and follows through.

So my husband is out looking for a overflow pump for our furnace. Knik Plumbing & Hearing had done (1st time using them) the maintenance and turns out they unplugged the unit, and failed to replug it and it flooded the motor.
This is one of several things that appeared untrustworthy. I reluctantly gave a credit card over the phone, and when the service person came out, said they did not have our card on file and needed to collect payment.
Service was scheduled specifically for three units over the phone. The furnace, the garage heater and the H-VAC System. After confirming such with the service person upon arrival and touting how my husband is methodical about changing filters, I was told..they would do their thing and then sit down with me once complete. So they apparently chose for themselves instead of the garage heater, to (what they referred to) as service the on-demand hot water heater. The. They wanted more money for the garage heater, and they did NOT truly service the on-demand system, and when I said I thought that meant flushing the system..he said, no...because you have a water softener system so it doesn't need to be flushed to service. His words not mine, because I was skeptical of them wanting to add this service without my authorization and so I googled what it takes to service/maintenance on a on-demand hot water system.
We had just had a service person out about a week prior to clean the dryer vent and they gave us photos of the H-VAC and said, it really wasn't that bad, but they would recommend checking again next year. Knik Plumbing & Heating took a photo and said they really wanted to encourage us to clean the air flow vents. They did NOT know, we already had the vents checked and had considered cleaning them.
I was very sad, and have worked in the customer service industry for my entire lifetime. It did not sit well with me at the time of service, and now this additional cost to replace the overflow pump, because it was unplugged is egregious!
