Econo Sewer & Drain

They were wonderful ! Arrived on time to unclog my kitchen sink. It was a harder job then expected but the quote was the same! Very friendly staff both on the phones and techs. But the best part was how CLEAN they were. They spent the time to wipe everything down even the door handles ! I've used them at work & now for the first time at home and so glad they are around when we have issues.

Picked them due to the high rating.  Spent 4 hours waiting, they came and inspected and said I needed Hydro Jett which they couldn't provide until morning.  Then I called again and they said they could provide hydro Jett but with a $200 extra charge.  Also Hydro Jett is like $400 extra than snake.  I called Roto Rooter, 30 min later they evaluated my system, and 30 min after that, they had resolved my issue....using a mechanical snake!  Saved about $400 and they had a 6 month warranty.

Charlie and his team are amazing to work with. I had some issues with my rental property and the sewer system. Charlie was efficient and helpful throughout every step. He even recommend ways to prevent future problems. I would HIGHLY recommend Charlie and his team for any sewer needs! Customer for life!

Not impressed.  We were trying to figure out what to do to address flooding in my 90 year-old mother-in-law's basement.  We live out of town and specifically asked him to check the palmer valve in the floor drain.   Charlie assured me that this is what we do for a living.  He cleaned out the lateral at what seemed to be a very high cost.  This did nothing to solve the problem.  

Subsequently, we got the right person to take a look; the problem was a stuck palmer valve.  He completely fixed the flooding problem in 30 minutes, at less half of what Econo charged.  Charlie at Econo is a smooth talker but doesn't know his stuff.  Caution advised!

Technician David arrived on time, and was very courteous. He explained everything he was doing while he was doing it. He cleaned up after himself and thanked me for my business. My pipes are not slowing how they should and that's one less thing to worry about. Thank you!

I had a couple of my Waukegan properties that have tree root problems done a couple years ago. I forgot to leave a review but will do so now. This company is very honest and professional. Even though one of my properties took them extra time and he said was one of the worst they have ever saw, LOL. They did not up charge me. Highly recommend them. This service is more expensive but last longer. I have to call them this year for a revisit myself.

I received outstanding service from Charlie and Adam. They replied and responded promptly to my request for a scoping of my kitchen drain. They were not only very professional but the rate for same service was not only fair, but much lower than another plumbing company quoted. Quite unbelievable how other companies will gouge you if you don't price compare. Highly recommend Econo Sewer and Drain. Thank you Charlie and Adam!

Called in morning and they were here in two hours.  I had a stopped up sink, not even an emergency.   Pete was excellent, explaining what he felt the problem was, cost, and procedure.   Highly recommend this company.

I would highly recommend Econo for the following reasons. Charlie, (I believe he is the owner) answered the phone close to after hours and scheduled a next day appointment. He gave me a qualified price over the phone so I knew what to expect. He arranged a phone call about 30 minutes before the visit, which was great. Adam showed up and was friendly and knowledgeable. He had foot coverings for his boots and proceeded to get the work done. He left no mess and explained some things that we could do to upgrade the toilet. Professional, responsive, courteous, on time, fair price.

I don't often have the opportunity to give good reviews for service providers because frankly most are marginal at best, and often awful.  However, Charlie at Econo is first class.  His website says we clean your pipes not your wallet.  That's straight truth, great service and fair prices.  I've never even met him personally, which is even better for a landlord like me. He was referred to my rental house by a family member of mine, showed up, solved the problem, and sent me a bill.  Case closed.  Call this guy.

Charlie and his guys are excellent!  They are prompt, courteous and efficient.  They explain the problem, suggest options, and give you the price up front.  Always a pleasure to come and bail me out!  Have used multiple times and will continue to recommend them highly to anyone who is in need of assistance.
