Richardson Plumbing

This is the second occurrence having to call them and I'm amazed at the professionalism of the owner. First time we contacted him was because another plumber had incorrectly installed a trap that wasn't accessible, which he corrected and today we called him because we had a drainage problem and 2 leaky faucets. Both issues were quickly resolved.

Dave came in this morning and fixed a problem that a previous plumber had left behind...all in about 5 seconds. He couldn't have been kinder or more professional. I will never call anyone else for my plumbing problems.

Showed up on time. Quickly discovered the problem and showed what was creating the leak. Was able to fix it in under 10 mins and explained why the leak existed. Dave was an excellent communicator and an even better person. Will be calling them again with an plumbing issue I have and recommending them to others. Couldn't have been more pleased

I had drainage issues with the bathroom, at the same time the washing machine was leaking, I called Richardson Plumbing and was advised to call the City of Norfolk first.  If the issue is not resolved to call him back.  I did and the City confirmed a stoppage in the sewer line and is handling the issue.  I appreciate the advice and honesty.  They could have told me that in person and charged a service fee.  I will definitely be using them for future needs.

Responsive, prompt, and performed an immediate repair of a leaking shower drain with no tacking on of unnecessary upcharge items. Mr. Richardson was recommended by a trusted friend who has lived in the area and used his services for over a decade. Very pleased with the service and professionalism, and what a nice guy!!

Wow, what can I say about Dave that hasn't already been said. We have been without hot water for two weeks now. Our warranty company sent 2 plumbers and 1 electrician and decided that they will cover our water heater. However, the plumber was going to charge us something outrageous for things we didn't need. We reached out to our realtor for a plumber and he gave us Dave's info. My husband called him today and he came this afternoon to diagnose the problem. My husband called him late afternoon and they discussed being able to do it tonight!! What a great guy! So he came and put a hose on the water heater to drain it while he takes my husband to Home Depot in his work truck to purchase a new water heater and install tonight!! He even has doggie treats for the fur kids!! Seriously, great guy and super professional! Thank you Dave for being awesome one working late on a Friday evening.

We've only been in the Virginia Beach area for about a month.  Dave Richardson from Richardson Plumbing Company was recommended to help replace our kitchen sink.  He came out and realized the sink we ordered was  not the correct size- even though it didn't work out this time, we offered to pay, but he wouldn't take any money for the time he spent.   He even fixed a leaky toilet  we had without charging.

Once we get the correct size sink, we are calling him back!

My mother (almost 70 years old) lives in Virginia Beach and hired David to do a plumbing job for her. She asked him to replace a toilet in the upstairs bathroom in her house. Come to find out the new toilet in the box had been broken... David told my mom it's okay. She went to get a replacement toilet from Home Depot while David told her he will wait while she exchanged the broken toilet. He carried the new toilet upstairs, installed it, and it works great.

I haven't heard my mom speak so highly of plumber in her entire life. Huge shoutout to David for his professionalism and quality of work. Thanks!!

Still the best there is! Dave is always there when we need him hot water heater started leaking he came on a Sunday to get it repaired!! Always reasonable pricing and great quality work!!!
