I can't recommend Mr. Rooter more highly (wish I could give 10 stars) and their phenomenal specialist Zane! We had a hot water heater installation that needed to be done prior to listing our house for sale. We had gotten probably 6 other quotes from people around the area, all of which tried to sell us crap we didn't need. I made one call to Mr. Rooter (via HomeAdvisor, I believe), and Zane came right out. Not only did he have a huge amount of knowledge and expertise for what we were looking for (tankless, large enough for this size house), but he knew enough to know we wouldn't recoup the investment for this area. He showed us exactly what we needed and gave us a quote that was extremely competitive for anyone else we've talked to. Not only did he quote us with multiple options, he came out the very next day after we picked one and installed it quicker than it took me to look him up!

I highly recommend going with Mr. Rooter for any plumbing needs you might have, and specifically request Zane...because a solid trustworthy service specialist is super hard to find these days and he will take care of anything you need! Excellent job folks!!

Truth Mr Rooter is not Cheap.but for me you get what you pay for and quality counts. And Mr Rooter always does quality work. Every time I need work done I will always call Mr Rooter

I did not choose their service because they were priced too high. The service guy was nice and the lady that followed up with me was very nice. They were firm on their quote and the reason why I did not choose them for the service.

Everyone in this company, from the plumbers to the ladies on the phones, were very considerate, professional, and kind. They did not stop until the job was done and I appreciate that so much. No one wants plumbing issues, but knowing that it is being taken care of efficiently is really amazing when it comes to trying to get people to work on your house. Trust worthy company that I will definitely recommend to friends and use in the future!

We have used Mr. Rooter Plumbing several times in the past, and each time we've had a superb experience.

Recently, Zane Albrecht came out to unclog a shower drain and was very patient with me and answered all of my questions and addressed all my concerns. I appreciated his professionalism, his expertise, his patience ( with me) , and all the information that he shared with me with regards to plumbing.

Earlier this year, Mr. Rooter Plumbing replaced all the plumbing on another property, as well as the main sewer line and again, we were very satisfied with all the work done, with the timely communication, as that project was being completed, and with the rapid response to our initial call ( within an hour after 5 pm).

Hence, I definitely recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing and I'm grateful for the timely response and for all of the exceptional service.

I found Mr. Rooter through Yelp after calling two other plumbing places to get a quote and time frame in which someone could come out.

I had a washer installed but the delivery guy couldn't get the hot water hose off the valve and advised I call a plumber to help so nothing gets damaged. The water in my house is apparently very hard and the hose was REALLY old (19ish years) so the hot water hose had fused to the valve.

Mr. Rooter was able to send a technician out a couple of hours after I called (all other places I called said maybe late Friday, but likely early Monday) which was great!

My technician's name is Zane Albrecht. He was incredibly personable, explained everything he was doing, and was very professional and polite.

If I have any plumbing issues or plumbing needs in the future, Mr Rooter will be the first company I call and I will request Zane Albrecht every time!

I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling coming from my upstairs master bathroom shower I made a call to Mr. Rooter Plumbing and they sent out Mr Samuel Bailie who completed the work in a little less than 2 hours. Great workmanship great job thank

Very professional! Terry was out at my house within an hour of me calling. They fixed my problem and showed me how to keep it from happening again. Very personable and knowledgeable I definitely recommend them!

Arranged for the company to come on a Friday to check out my problem and provide a free estimate. No call, no one ever showed up.
On Monday I'm called saying that they had missed my communication on Yelp for setting the appointment and wanted to know if they could come. I was replied to on yelp, so I knew that wasn't true, but let them come anyway.

The technician was great and did an excellent job helping to clarify the misdiagnosis. However, he said there was a $59 dispatch fee. I told him the appointment was only for an estimate. He said I still had to pay. I don't fault the technician, he was doing his job. I fault the company, and that's why I won't be giving them any more business.

They showed up early to the job. When it turned out to be more complicated than originally thought they didn't try to nickel and dime us. Did excellent work, would use again. Had A-1 Sewer and Drain come out first on a Saturday and was told they'd call back with a quote on Monday morning. Been two weeks and still waiting on that call.

This message is to verify the 30 minute response time of this company. I was pleasantly surprised that someone reached out to me before the 30 minutes.  Thank you Paula.  We were unable to use this company because the work was previously contracted to a company that finally showed up to do the work. However I have definitely locked this number in for any future plumbing issues.

Fast ,responsive and to the point the service technician came out evaluated what the problem was diagnosed it and fixed it within a timely manner. The job wasn't costly and they gave me a 30day warranty for the job .

We had our water heater and garbage disposal replaced. Very courteous and professional. Reasonably priced. We'll definitely use them for any plumbing issues.

Do yourself a favor and AVOID this company! Unreliable, irresponsible, and inexperienced staff.

DAY ONE: I made an appointment with a technician to receive a quote. The representative arrives, I explain what I need done and he says the job is going to be $320 with parts and labor. Since I needed the job done asap I did not have time to shop around. I also needed the job done before 8am because I need to open my business by then so I was charged extra for coming in before operating hours. OK, so I make an appointment for the next day at 7AM.

DAY TWO: Technician does not arrive and I receive a call from the owner of the company around 730AM saying that unfortunately he's not going to make it due to a family emergency. He offers me a $50 discount for the inconvenience and promises me he will have another technician at 7AM sharp. I say OK.

DAY THREE: I arrive at 7AM sharp and the technician DOES NOT SHOW UP! AGAIN! I try to call the owner but he does not answer my phone calls. I receive a phone call from the technician at 750AM that hes on his way...I tell him its too late because I need to open my business at 8AM and I paid extra to get the job done BEFORE then. He explains that he was just informed about the job this morning!

He apologizes and would like the opportunity to come in anyways to take a look at the job to see if he can come up with a solution without turning off my gas. The other technician told him it would be a quick and EASY job. I say OK.

He looks at what I need done and quotes me at $376 with the discount!
I asked WHY are you quoting me a higher price than I originally was!? He said the first technician was wrong and the job I actually need cost more. HOW CAN THE FIRST TECHNICIAN BE WRONG!? He explains the first technician isn't as experienced as he is! SERIOUSLY!?

He said I need the adapter from a specific hose and the only way to get that piece is to purchase the entire hose which retails at $245. Which I KNOW that isn't the price he pays for it, and now instead of helping us out for all the inconvenience hes trying to make more money off me by selling me parts I DONT need!

Now that I knew what I needed to get the job done I went online and bought the adapter myself. PAID $33.45!!!

Brian came out within less than an hour of me calling. Right off the bat he was kind. I explained what was happening and he went right under the sink to look. He presented me with a reasonable offer for the job. He had to snake our kitchen sink as it was clogged and backed up on both sides. He got the clog out and spent a decent amount of time testing to make sure there wasn't water backing up again. He then replaced a part of piping that wasn't correct. He cleaned up everything. He was even kind to my 4 year old daughter. Super friendly and personable. Would hire this company again and would hope Brian would be the plumber to come out. Great service!

I would recommend this company because of their honesty and integrity. We just had a repair done on a toilet leak.  It turned out that the parts they replaced did not fix the problem. We called and the company sent back their technician (Zane) the very next day. He realized that some other part needed to be replaced. He explained the situation to his boss. They fixed the problem without any additional charge. I was happy to see they stood behind their workmanship and warranty.  Zane was very courteous and easy to work with.  I would use this company again.

Honest. Actually honest! Came out right away. Office and plumber both very polite too! Will definitely use them again.

They will not give you any kind of price range before they come and it's $85 just to come. I wanted my shower drain cover replaced and the drain unclogged. He gets there and tells us we could do it ourselves with a screwdriver but he can do it for $689! What a joke! DO NOT CALL THEM!

2 stars given - 1 for being reliable and 1 for coming out the same day. Service and overall price was... well... subpar.

Overcharged and incorrectly charged for the plumber just to replace the rubber stoppers on the shut off valves in my shower. (It was only 2 steps for him for to do & I had even explained to him what needed to be done; very easy job for him).

He also used my tools and didn't even bring in his own.

When he removed the shut off valve screws, it was covered with calcium buildup. Plumber didn't clean it or brush it. He removed the old rubber stoppers and replaced it with new ones, put the new stopper back on the calcified screw and put it back in place. Left the old rubber stopper pieces in my tub and didn't clean it up.

My invoice shows that I was charged for Repair 1/2 Water Hose Faucet, which is an incorrect service, but the plumber said there wasn't anything in his system that has a quote for replacing the rubber stopper. So, I was charged way more for a repair he didn't do.

I asked why it cost so much & he said it's for labor. $260 for him to unscrew a screw, put a rubber cap on it & screw it back, while leaving a mess, borrowing my tools, and not even cleaning the part he repaired. He also had to leave and come back because he only had 1 rubber stopper on hand, which took another 45mins or so.

He was a nice guy but I expected more professionalism and courtesy - charge your customers accordingly to the work and effort, use your work own tools, clean the part that's being repaired, ensure you have the supplies needed in your truck, & clean up after your service

My water heater went out last night. I called Mr Rooter and they had someone here first thing in the morning.  They were very knowledgeable and conservative in their approach.  Sean was my technician. He was able to identify and provide options for the repair. I opted for a new water heater and he was able to replace and install the new job quickly and efficiently.  I will call Mr Rooter for all my plumbing needs.

I use them for all plumbing issues. They replaced my water heater, a toilet, and fixed 2 busted pipe. They are super friendly and you can tell that they care.

Halfway through a DIY project, I realized I need professional help and Mr. Rotor Plumbing of Virginia Beach came to the rescue. Got us scheduled right away and helped us out with a needed repair and install. Easy to deal with, very professional and I highly recommend them!

I needed my broken garbage disposal removed & the new one put on. Sam did a very good job and he did great at cleaning up afterwards. This is the 2nd time I used them & I will use them again as needed.

I highly recommend this company. Bryan was wonderful, courteous, professional did excellent job and quality work. I called out of the blue for an out of state client and he was on top of it directly. He went out of his way to give me an honest accurate assessment of what should be done and honest quote before he did some work in my house in Wyndcrest Way, Virginia Beach. I called for a evaluation and I was told on the phone that it'll be free, I had called because whenever someone was using the bathroom and the kitchen sink at the same time our kitchen sink would clog but eventually it'll go down with the garbage disposal. After explaining to my concerned wife that something like that is normal she insists on calling a professional I went with Mr. rooter because like I stated before they would do a free evaluation. The gentleman came in did his best to remake the situation my wife was concerned about. He too said it was normal. He was at my house for 45 min I know this cuz I tacked it on my ring doorbell, he didn't put a snake in my drain he just kept turning water sources on and off. Later he says my crawlspace is producing graywater I checked before he looked and my crawlspace wasn't flooded only some water at the entrance. I myself have done crawlspace work and went under my house before this visit and didn't find any leaks on the vapor barrier. During the time he was here he says I have to charge you something for the time I was here
I agreed because as a pest control technician I charge for my time but I don't charge $201 for less than an hours work!!! I'm not happy with the service I was given. I simply paid $201 for a professional to tell my wife I was right the whole time.
