Mark was courteous and professional on the phone. He sent a technician out the same day I called, and he was right on time! They cleaned out the sewer line in about an hour. I never expected to see SO many roots in our line. The service call was under $100! We will use them for all our plumbing needs.
BEST PLUMBING SERVICE. HONEST. RELIABLE. You can not go wrong with Mark Ondras Plumbing. We had a plumbing problem and AHS sent out SDL plumbing- they charged us over $2300 and did not fix the problem. Mark Ondras Plumbing fixed it for a little over $100. Very honest and reliable people. We were very satisfied with their service and we highly recommend them.
I am always hesitant to call a plumber as I always feel that they might rip me off. I read all the good reviews about Ondras Plumbing and decided to give them a try when my bathroom sink was clogged. I am so glad that I did!!!! They came out within two hours the same day that I called. Doug was very friendly and efficient. He fixed our sink and price was very reasonable. We will definitely be using them again!!
Best plumber ever. I discovered Sunday morning that the main shower was not draining and backing up into the tub. I messaged via Yelp and was contacted within a couple of hours and now the drains are clear. This is my plumber from this day forward.

They responded to our email the next day( after weekend) and took care of our kitchen sink drain right away. We were very pleased with the reasonable rate compared to having the same work done by another company last year. We will definitely call them again.

Mark is awesome plumber, who is affordable and honest. I set my appointment in advance, and he called me with a friendly reminder. Before setting my appointment, i was able to text him photo's of the affected area and provided feedback and a rough cost estimate. He came in and fixed the disconnected pipe. My family has been using Mark at their personal and rental properties, highly recommend him.

Called them after seeing some neighbor referrals. Glad I called. After speaking with Brandy, the office manager, she set an appointment date and time. Just as scheduled, Mark shows up to do the work. (installation of a new shower valve). After work was done, up to a point so tile man could do tiling, Mark said he would be out after tiling was complete to do finish of install of controller and shower head/faucet. No payment was requested until after total completion of job. Mark did great! Very friendly and very professional.
Mark Ondras will be one of the best plumbers you can find..his prices are fair and he cares about you like his own family..he doesn't charge you by your zip code like some do. Be tolerate of the storm just text him as voicemail is full..everyone looking for a plumber..these guys have become our new essential workers.

Highly recommended! We found a leak in our kitchen and Mark was able to send someone within couple of hours when others were quoting days. The tech diagnosed/fixed the issue less than an hour and charged the right price. Great crew, great service, great rates!
I couldn't be happier with service Mark and his team provided. He is one the good ones, honest, prompt, and always responds to your question. Mark even came out on a Sunday to help with a broken sewer pipe. He immediately figured out the problem, used his camera to detect the defective area, and offered a solution at very reasonable rates. He does not gouge you like other plumbing companies. He even called the locate service for the phone and gas lines. He will definitely be our only service provider from now on. I had s portion of my house take in water due having issues with my AC condensate overflow pipe being clogged. I called an AC company where the AC company only flushed a unit section of PVC pipe of about 3 feet and said it was fixed. The next morning, my house is flooded again. Never having needed a plumber before, I asked a neighbor and my real estate agent for a resource. They both hands down recommended Mark Ondras. I called, explained the issue and they had a technician out in a short time. Kevin diagnosed and remedied the issue in a timely manner. It was reasonably priced and very professional. I highly recommend this plumbing company and will definitely use them in the future as my go to plumber!

I have to say that Mark was a great help. Came out during the weekend for an emergency call and was able to get the job done in a professional and timely manner. The prices were very reasonable. Mark is the best. He's honest, good at what he does and he is there when he says he will be there. If he doesn't do the job that you need him to or if it's in a location he doesn't travel to he will recommend another plumber. His card is the only one I make sure to keep handy.

I called mark for a new water heater based on a being recommended by others on next door. He let me know he'd be there next day at 9am , and would give me a 15 min call ahead. He called me at 9:50 (an hour late) stating he was 5 min out. Everything was smooth with the installation, but when it came time for payment he asked if I could write him a check, rather than use a credit card. I was a bit taken back, but wasn't sure what to do in the moment so I paid him with a check. Just be aware if you use him to ask for forms of payment. He was not wearing a mask.
If you are looking for the best plumber in the mid cities call Mark at 972 841 5870. He does great work at reasonable prices. If he can't handle your request personally, he will refer you to someone who is equally qualified.
I called Mark Ondras Plumbing and had Service from them for the first time today. I could not be more satisfied with the service and value that i received. I left a message and was called back in 15 mins and told a tech would be here in about an hour. About an hour later Kevin arrived, he was polite, knowledgeable and got straight to work after assessing problem (clog). He had to run the snake nearly out to the street to clear it, and afterwards he checked that it was clear from both the kitchen and the laundry room (ran a small load to test). While assessing the clog some dirty waste water backed up and spilled onto the tile floor and Kevin cleaned it all up. The charge for service was very reasonable, it was less than i expected. There may be other great plumbing services out there, but after my experience with Mark Ondras I won't call anyone else. I am so happy to support a high quality small business that is located in my neighborhood.

So far so good with this company. I called Yesterday night and was told he could come by but it would be first thing in the morning. mark came by right on time as he said he would, informed me that I would need a new water heater. However he would have to leave for a class he had at 8am but could have another employee of his come out and install it and he could be here at 3. Thankfully that guy finishes his other job early and came by. They are already finished and now I'll be able to have hot water before I have to leave for work in a couple hours. They came highly recommended, and so far I will recommend them to others. Thanks Mark and your team for helping out.
Found minor leaking problem at laundry room. I left a request on their web form on Sunday, and Mark called me back on Monday. He came to replace my laundry room corroded faucet at very reasonable price. Everything is fixed in 40 minutes. I am carefree again.
I just had two of the nicest young men over to unclog my newly remodeled bathroom (as in had not tested it until two nights ago after the grout had been applied). I was extremely concerned prior to them coming over because I had suspected either grout or cement had clogged the shower drain so knew what I was to expect as a worst case scenario (redomolition of the shower floor). Prior to contacting them I purchased what I thought was a heavy duty snake to try to unclog myself but was not successful. The technicians were a bit concerned at first because the snake did not immediately unclog the shower drain. But they didn't give up and within a few minutes they broke through grout that had been settled for weeks. I highly recommend this business to anyone. Prices are reasonable and timeliness and customer service were definitely a motivator to use them again. Thank you Mark and company.

A pipe in our garage burst during the big freeze. After our home warranty company (Landmark) completely dropped the ball about getting someone out to help us, after having our water shut off for nearly 24 hours, Mark got us fit in and Austin came out and made a thorough, and reasonably priced repair. I'm sure they were overwhelmed with plenty of similar jobs, but they still made time for us and got us up and running again. Austin was extremely professional and conscientious. I would not hesitate to call Mark Ondras Plumbing again. Almost glad our warranty company messed up so bad about getting a contractor out to see us, or we would have never found these guys on our own.
Hands down, best plumber I have ever used. Called him out twice and each time, he recommended a solution that was a lot cheaper than that of an unneeded job other plumbers would have sold me. Very professional and prompt.

Came very next day which was a Sunday, quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within the hour. About 45 minutes late and phone call would have been great just to let me know. I highly recommend Mark Ondras. New Year's Eve 2015, and raw sewage starts seeping into my tub just as my holiday guests are arriving to my party. Nightmare scenario. I called some other company that night, and they agreed to send someone in the morning. I got a bunch of red flags from that first company that I spoke with, and their Yelp reviews confirmed my suspicions. So I cancelled their trip to my house.
Then I found Mark Ondras plumbing on Yelp, and I'm so glad that I contacted him. I left a message and received a call back within 5 minutes. It turned out just to be a clogged drain, and within minutes after his arrival he had it cleaned out. He didn't charge any holiday, overtime, or weekend rate even though it was New Year's Day. He was honest, and courteous. I only had to pay his normal trip charge. So for less than 110.00 bucks I had a solution, and I found a reputable plumber with whom I can trust for future needs.
Mark came on a Sunday and helped us figure out why we weren't getting hot water upstairs. It was a simple troubleshoot but he worked fast and came back the next week to change the part we needed. His assistant called to schedule and he showed up when he said he would, changed everything in 15 minutes. My new go-to plumber in Bedford.
Apparently I was misquoted. Waste of a trip. Very unprofessional. And after showing up late. The plumber didn't seem very knowledgeable and didn't seem like he was capable of climbing on a roof. Didn't seem to interested in obtaining my business.
Mark showed up right when he said he would and took care of the problem promptly. He was also very reasonable in price, which is not something I can say about other plumbing companies I had service my house in the past. I have my new plumbing company.
Mark was exceptional, he fixed both my faucets that had no water pressure for cold in less than 1 hour not to mention fixing a stopped drain. Both my inside kitchen sink and our door faucets had almost no water pressure. Each required their own fix. Mark replaced the lines in the kitchen and the entire outdoor faucet for 125.00 total. Quick and reliable service. I would highly recommend! Also he was right on the scheduled time we had planned a week out!

Used them multiple times...from hot water heater breaking to replacing broken fixtures. Great service, great pricing and great experience. Left them alone in house without any issues. I have used a lot of plumbers over the years...never used the same one twice or been able to recommend one...let alone give them 5 stars. Very glad to have found them!

I called Mark Ondras on my lunch break and he was able to send someone out that evening to unclog my toilet. They guy was actually early! He was very nice, professional, and did a great job at unclogging my toilet in less than 30 minutes. They were very helpful will scheduling something right away, and the price was reasonable. Mark Ondras Plumbing is by far the best plumbing company in the Dallas Metroplex (and we've tried many). They are very professional, knowledgeable and charge VERY reasonable prices for their work. Highly recommend!!!
Mark saved us a ton of frustration and money! We originally called another plumber, who did all sorts of scoping and quoting - for a simple clog. Would have cost us a fortune to do what he recommended.
After some scheduling challenges, we looked around for another plumber and found Mark. Lots of my friends (tons of IRVING folks! I went to IRVING High, so gotta represent) raved about Mark - and they weren't wrong.
He communicated his arrival time, got straight to work, and had us flowing in no time! And - saved us a (pardon the term) crap ton of money!

Mark came through again! His price to replace a broken water heater was much lower than any other plumbers and he fit me a tight schedule. The work he completed was above and beyond what I expected with adding a drain pipe and fixing previous plumber's shoddy work. I would highly recommend his company for any plumbing needs.

Had a clog that I couldn't solve ... tried plunging and doing some basic maintenance with no success. Even worse, the AC condensate lines drained into the same drains so this was going to be a problem.
So i'm reading all these reviews thinking, these must be fake, no way a plumber is THAT good. I've give Mark a call expecting him to say he'll be out in a few days, instead he listens to the problem is says that while he's booked for the day he'll come out after his last job at around 5pm. Wow, first good sign right there. Get a call a few hours earlier than expected ... they're running ahead of schedule and can fit me in ... ?!?!? ... Wow, really?!?
Kevin comes out and is super courteous. Really, just a super-nice human being. Takes his time looking at everything and starts clearing out the lines. I let him do his thing and in around an hour or so he's done. Everything working perfectly and put back together with no leaks. I wait for the damage as i'm ready to write a check ... Mark gave me an estimate on the phone, but of course things can change once they actually see the problem etc. Quote was exactly what Mark said and lower than I was expecting?!?
Mark Ondras and his team are REALLY THAT GOOD. Probably one of the BEST experiences i've had with a service contractor. I wish every company was this honest, punctual, and professional. Amazing work at amazing prices with friendly staff. What more can I say?

Great service! I had water pooling in my lawn and had no idea who to call since I'm new to the area. My neighborhood association had Mark on their recommended list so I called. They came out and had it completely fixed by the time I got home from work! And the price was very reasonable considering the big job. Very happy customer, thank you!

These guys are great. Sometimes they're a little hard to get a hole of but they do great work and are reasonably priced!! We've used them over the course of 2 houses and 3 jobs.
I finally found an honest Plumber in Mark Ondras Plumbing. My gas water heater stopped working. We had 2 plumbers out b4 Mark...the 1st replaced the thermo- couple still no hot water then he said we needed thermostat. The 2nd plumber said we needed control module. Mark came out on Sunday and found that the 1st plumber hadn't pushed the thermocouple in far enough & the filters just needed to be cleaned. Now we have hot water at a very reasonable price. We will be calling Mark Ondras Plumbing for all our plumbing needs.
Our water heater stopped working and we got quoted a ridiculous price by a competitor to replace the gas valve. Mark Ondras did the same job for significantly less and now we have hot water again!

Kevin was dispatched and arrived just a few hours after I called. Kevin was professional and got the job done quickly. Now I can use my washer again!! The price was awesome and the work was A1 5 Star.

I called them yesterday at 3pm and they had someone out at 10am the next day when it wasn't even an emergency! Young man named Austin was very professional and friendly. He was at my home for 45 min used scope and roto rooter and answered a ton of questions for me. Normal service fee for coming out is 99.50
I felt that was a fair price for his time and work
He was honest enough to tell me if I had a future problem and showed me what to look for... to call the city first and it would be no charge to me since my issue was on the city side
I will use them again and tell all my friends!

Mark came over quickly when we called, gave a fair price for awesome work, and even met us at Lowes and hauled the water heater in his van back to our house, since there's no way it would have fit in our small hatchback. Highly recommended.
I had a washer drain line that wasn't installed properly by Costco's installer. Mark came out on short notice, diagnosed the problem, and fixed the problem, all at a reasonable cost. Kelly is the office manager. She's the best. I highly recommend this company and would call them again in a heartbeat. Five stars!

They arrived on time and for the most part did a good job. I rated them a four because of service things like when they took one of the toilets out that I was replacing, they dropped water along the floor and did not wipe it up. They should have shoe covers to protect the customer's carpet (they did comply when I asked them to remove their shoes). Also, when they replaced my kitchen faucets they presumed I was going to throw them away when in fact I planned to put one in my rental house. Without asking they had already taken my old fixtures to their truck. Last yet not least, they did not get my list completed and said they would call back to schedule another appointment and its been three weeks.
If you need a plumber, look no further than this company. Our water heater broke and we called several companies. Mark was the only one who called back within 10 minutes and not only that, he sent one of his guys out within the next hour. They were never late, knew exactly what they were doing, explained everything to us and fixed us up in no time. We have dealt with other plumbers but this company will be our go to from now on. Extremely happy we found them! Would give them more stars if I could.

If you have been lucky enough to have found Mark Ondras Plumbing, your search for an HONEST, reliable, HONEST, respectable, HONEST, fair-priced and HONEST plumber is over!
We found Mark Ondras from nextdoor.com and have used him 3-4 times for minor things the past year. Then last week we had something major...a plumbing leak in the slab in the kitchen (which is tiled) and it was not covered by insurance.
Mark and Harry (the Leak Guru) came by and diagnosed the issue quickly. A few days later Harry, Felipe (the Leak Lord), Jake and EZ came by to repair. They put down drop cloths and taped off everything. I begged them to try and not break anymore then 3 tiles, which were the only extras I had, otherwise I would've had to replace nearly 300sf of tile not covered by insurance.
In at 9am and out by 2:30pm and the leak was fixed and only broke through 2 tiles!
They left my house clean. They were all so KIND and RESPECTFUL.
The price I was charged was nearly 1/2 of everyone else!
Do yourself a favor. Stop wasting time searching for an honest Plumber by calling someone from TV (who will rob you blind) and hire Mark Ondras Plumbing.
If this sounds like a commercial or a bit over the top for them, its because they deserve it.
They've got our business forever.
Mark replaced a 75 gallon water heater for us. Did a great job and delivered on time and his price was very reasonable. Much better than bigger outfits.

Not sure why the reviews are so great. First off, they do charge a service fee to come out unlike a previous reviewer states. They inspected the problem and told me what would need to be done, which I already knew. Wrote up what would need to be done in his car and never came back to discuss with me. I had to go chase him to ask followup questions. I called back to discuss an alternative option and left a voicemail and never got a call back. Obviously not eager to earn my business for the job.
Just wanted to thank Mark Ondras Plumbing for prompt service, honest assessments & quality work! This is the second time we have had them out & have been beyond satisfied with their excellent customer service. The first time was on a Saturday for a main line break & their charge was so reasonable!
Awesome service from this company. This company was highly recommended on many of the sites. They charge reasonably after calling a few companies. Our garage disposal stopped working and Mark was able to get someone out here the same day. James was knowledgeable and helped our situation. Definitely know who to call next time we run into a plumbing issue.

I called Mark based on his website and the extraordinary ratings he is received from Irving Chamber of Commerce and other organizations. I needed two water heaters installed, one of them urgently, and he accommodated our needs completely. He got the first one up and running and then came back to install the second one. It is a professional installation, the subcontractors he used did a great job and I would recommend him highly to anyone who needs Plumbing work done.

I'm very happy with Mark Ondras Plumbing. I used them to replace the spigots for my washing machine, and not only did they provide the best price, they gave me excellent service. Technician Larry was on time, polite, and did great work. When I needed a new spigot for the hose outside, I didn't hesitate to call again, and once again, I received an excellent price and great service (this time from Austin). Thanks to both of those technicians, I will be using this company for all my plumbing needs.

When my water heater burst, Mark was super easy to get a hold of and offered to come the same day for service. I'm impressed with his work and his efficiency. I would definitely recommend him to others and plan on using him for future plumbing work.
I will definitely be calling these guys again if I need too!! I called this morning with a clogged toilet lone and left a message. My call was returned in less than 15 min and I was told he could have someone out in about an hour. Needless to say someone was here within the hour timeframe and out in an hour! He was quick and honest! He even helped me with another small issue I was having at no extra charge! The rate was reasonable and I was charged for work plus the service call!! Very happy kids at my place right now with a working toilet!!

I just moved from out of state and my sewer stopped up right when I moved in! I called Mark Ondras because of the reputation the company had, and I can see now why that is. Mark came out quickly, did excellent work, and the price was more than fair. I will recommend this plumbing company to anyone who needs one in the mid cities area. Thanks again Mark!
I had a water heater installed about 3 years ago and it started leaking recently. I called Mark and he came out the same day, accessed the situation and determined I was in need of a new one. He advised it was still under warranty and explained how to get another water heater and within two days, Mark came out and replaced the water heater with the new one I received. He did a great job, cleaned up the mess, and hauled away the old water heater. The price was great as well. I will definitely use this company for all my plumbing needs in the future.
Night and day! Our usual go-to provider has been slow to return calls the last couple times we needed help. Based on reviews here, I contacted Mark via their web site. He called pretty promptly to arrange a visit.
James turned up on time and was very pleasant. And though our problem turned out to be bigger than anticipated, James was persistent, even calling in backup. As time marched on, I got to wondering just how much this red carpet service was going to cost. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised.
Mark Ondras Plumbing is our new go-to provider.
Fast, honest, and reliable. We had a clogged kitchen drain past the access point. He came out and also helped us discover we had a 2nd access to the drain that was under a rock. We did not have to pay an arm and a leg for it. i would have had to pay more for other folks who were not even master plumbers. His business is still open but someone is out to hurt his business claiming that it's closed.
I have been using and referring Mark to my customers since he was a part time business. He is honest, on time and easy to reach. I recently sent him out to a commercial clients job to clear a floor drain. He was unable to clear it to his satisfaction and recommended having it jetted (which is a service he does not offer) He went out spent time and refused to bill me. The drain is still open a month or more later, just not to his standards I guess?? This is just one example of his high level of integrity.
I only use Ondras Plumbing for all of my plumbing issues after trying other plumbing companies . Most recently they were at my home on a Friday night within an hour of me calling. They took care of the problem and charged me their normal rates, not emergency service rates as others will do. Their rates are better than any other plumbers I've used and their workers are very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Mark and his employees have earned a 5 star review. I recommend you call Ondras Plumbing.

My experience with Mark Ondras Plumbing was very easy and stress free. I was able to set an appointment at my convenience, he was very punctual, pricing was affordable and replaced with water heater with no issues. Two thumbs up for Mark!
Excellent service, professional, on time, and great price. He fixed a water faucet damaged due to freeze and had done 50 of those jobs recently. Very happy with Mark who took care of the issue without damaging the interior and did it fast and efficient.

RE-UPDATED: We understand busy. We even expected Mark to be busy, based on his prior work. But what we didn't appreciate, and why we wrote this review, is that they won't tell you they are too busy, or their schedule for that type of work is a month out, etc. We wasted 3 weeks waiting for a quote on additional work (moving pipes adding whole home shutoff). We kept following up and they said it was coming. I even asked on one of my calls, if I should call another plumber. She said no we'll get back to you no later than (Friday). Their you'll have it no later than date was almost a week past, as of this review. That's after we had waited 2 weeks. Sadly, they are too busy to be a dependable go-to company. If you have an emergency, cross your fingers and call Mark.

As usual, Mark Ondras exceeds our expectations with their professional work and can-do attitude. This is the second bathroom remodel that Mark and team have helped us with. If your project requires the highest of standards and you enjoy having peace of mind, call Mark Ondras Plumbing. It doesn't get any better, in our honest opinion.
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Doug, our technician from Mark Ondras Plumbing, was awesome! I called at the end of the day the day before Christmas Eve, and within 30 minutes Doug was at our house. Within a few minutes our clog was fixed! We had had several other plumbers out who would try to unclog the sewer pipe, claim it was temporarily fixed, only to have it clog up again in 2 hours. Doug found two clogs and pushed them out. He even warrantied his work for 30 days to give us peace of mind. He also explained what the previous plumbers we'd had out did wrong, and assured us there wasn't an expensive-to-fix problem causing our recurring clogs, which the previous plumbers had told us. He charged us $99.50 for a sewer clean-out, which we consider to be the best $100 we've spent in a long time. From now on we will always call Mark Ondras Plumbing because we trust them, they respond quickly, they fix the issue the first time, and they charge a fair price.
Amazing company! I was quoted on the phone for the work I needed done. The estimate was very accurate.
I needed 5 faucets installed, and 2 a/c unit drains replaced or fixed. They did all the work very well!
The plumber, Andy, arrived on time as scheduled. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and worked in a timely manner.
You won't be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of using Mark Ondras Plumbing while working at a local preschool. As you can imagine, there were more than a few How did that get in there? moments ;)

Had Mark out to fix a clog and he was awesome! Very professional, curious and a fair price. The best plumber I've ever worked with. I highly recommend him!
My wife and I were doing laundry on a Sunday night. The bath tub started filling up with water. We called Mark and he immediately responded. Told me he could be there in 2 hours, and was at my door within an hour! He quoted me a price for coming out and charged me less than he quoted me for! Super polite, professional, and reliable! We need more business people like Mark in the world. We will be using his services again in the event we have plumbing problems at home. Thanks Mark!

This is the second or third time I'm using this company, and I've referred them countless times. I noticed a leak in my home earlier today and contacted the company around 6:45PM. The owner, Mark, reached back out to me around 8PM and said he could come tonight. He showed up, identified the leak, and solved the issue within the first 5-10 minutes he was here. He didn't even charge me anything, stating he was already on his way back to Irving so it wasn't a problem stopping by my house, and that it wasn't a big fix - who does that?! His employees that have been by my house in the past have also been just as delightful and effective. Can't say enough about this company and it is so refreshing to receive great, consistent service these days.

Great customer Service! They came out ASAP with our kitchen sink that was leaking. Austin was very professional and knowledgeable. He took care of the issue for us and stayed late to help us.I would highly recommend them.
Great crew, on time , great rates. He could have charged me to rip up my entire yard, but he fix the problem charged me a reasonable rate and I'm a happy lady.
Excellent Service with honesty and integrity. If you do not need work he will tell you. If you need repairs, he is very reasonable, and this plumber actually returns calls. Service oriented with reasonable rates and great work.
Mark was very professional. He called me back after hours on a Sunday night and was able to unclog our sewer system successfully. Our line was clogged and backing up into both of our toilets and shower/baths. He was able to fix it when about 20 other companies couldn't fit us in. We will absolutely be using Mark again in the future and recommending him to others. Thank you, Mark!!
A few months ago I saved a neighborhood post recommending 'Mark Ondras plumbing'. I used them about a month ago for a non-emergency call. I wanted to establish myself with a smaller, local place wrongly assuming their service/response may be better than the bigger companies. Last Friday i uncovered a pipe leaking in-between floors of my house. I made two calls that day to 'Mark Ondras Plumbing' and I never received a call back (its now the following Tuesday)! I called Beck's plumbing at 8am Monday morning and my pipe was fixed by 1pm that same day. Now I am left to repair the damage that went unserviced all weekend. What matters most about a provider is whether you can rely on them during an emergency. You can not rely on 'Mark Ondras Plumbing' when it matters! Call Beck's!
