I've known the Long's for over 30 years. Quality, honest, trustworthy and friendly as well as knowledgeable and helpful.
They bailed us out when our 'home warranty' left us high, dry and HOT!
Can't say enough good things about them!!!
Needed a meter base replaced due to a storm. Was willing to pay a premium to get it done. I figured 2500 would be high but I would go with it to get me tenant back in working order. Long sent an estimate for 3900 and said that it would have to be paid in full prior to the job being started. I have never heard of such nonsense. I ended up using BakerBrothers. Job was completed in one day at $1500. Less than half the price of Long Electric. The did not ask for a final payment until the job was passed via the city. Beware of LONG HEAT AND AIR. Go with BakerBrothers or anyone else.

Amazing service, friendly staff, and fair pricing.
It's so hard to find an honest electrician - so glad I came across Long Electric!
They were very flexible when I had a power issue in my house - they came out the very next day - fixed my problem quickly - and charged a VERY fair amount. They also provided estimates for additional work I needed done - pricing was amazing - and they quickly came out and completed the work.
If anyone needs an electrician - I highly recommend you give them a try.
Consistently excellent, dependable service. We moved to Irving 11 years ago and now live in north Grand Prairie. We have used Long Electric for small and large jobs. We have found them to be reasonably priced, dependable, and responsive. Their jobs have always held the test of time. If you are looking for an residential electric and AC service, look no further.

I came in to work on a Sunday afternoon, 105 degrees outside, and no a/c. Called Long Electric and they had their tech, Kevin, out here within an hour. Another 1/2 hour and he was done - cold A/C again!
Long is awesome!! I recently purchased a new home in Irving and needed several repairs. New panel, lighting, all switches replaced, fans, a/c and heater serviced. I am so happy I called Long! I love working with family owned businesses because of the level of trust they give. Tommie was extremely knowledgeable and I could not be more happy with all the work they did. Thank you so much!!
Scheduling with them was super easy. They arrived on time and completed the work as needed. Will use them again for sure.

If you're looking for courteous, prompt, and professional attention at reasonable rates, look no further. Today was our first experience using Long Electric and Air Conditioning, and we were extremely pleased. The electricians were friendly, experienced, and diligent. For us, we want the total package in customer service, and we got it!

Long Electric and air conditioning recently completed major electrical work at our home. We had a couple of their courteous representatives come by to look at our electrical panel and give us a price to replace and relocate our panel. Tommy was the technician that performed the replacement job. He did an outstanding job; Tommy is hard-working, we are very pleased with the workmanship and results. I would highly recommend Long electric and air conditioning.
The technician showed even earlier than I was told(which was awesome because we were in a time crunch). They fixed the problem quickly, cleaned up the work area, explained what all they had repaired and did so at a very reasonable cost. We will certainly be using this company again and recommending them to anyone that needs a dependable electrician.

I just had a very positive experience with Long electric&AC. They showed up exactly when they said they would. They worked quickly and gave me a fair price. They were also very friendly and courteous.
My air conditioning stopped running and, although they were booked, Long Electric made an after hours appointment for me. When they had a cancellation they called and the repair work was done quickly and efficiently. They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Long Electric. Grateful for their care and concern.
Tommie arrived on time and did a very good job of replacing my old box with a new one. The young man who came back the next day was not what I call a fast person. He was a bit on the slow side and when going for a part he didn't have was gone for over 2 hours. I would recommend Long only if this young man is not who takes care of you.
