J & K Plumbing is hands-down the worst company I have ever tried to work with!!! They were sent to my home after scheduling a warranty request through American Home Shield. I have had problems with this company in the past though, so I don't know why I was so surprised to have the same type of experience with them again. The time that I am referring to J & K Plumbing denied a claim at my house concerning problems with our water heater. However, the company that was sent to my house by American Home Shield in that instance for a second opinion, told me that my problem was covered under my AHS warranty, and they corrected the issue for me with no problems.
Going back to my current experience. I now have a water leak at my house. This was verified by the technician from J & K Plumbing while he was on the site today after he looked at the main water meter out by the street. However, rather than even coming into the house to try to see where it might be coming from, he left when I told him that I had an unpleasant conversation with Kathy over the phone on my way to the appointment from work. During that conversation with Kathy (J & K's office lady), she told me that the technician had been waiting for 5 minutes at the house, and that if I was only 3-4 minutes away from the house like I told her, that they could wait the extra 3-4 minutes, she guessed. Long story short, as I said, the technician refused to come into the house and left saying that they would call American Home Shield to have a different company come out to our house for the leak. Every time I have dealt with this company they have been rude, impolite, non-courteous, and down-right unprofessional! I am not sure how a company that repeatedly demonstrates this level of unprofessionalism remains in business, but I hope that whoever reads this review will steer clear from this company in the future to avoid any problems like what I have experienced with them.
