This was my mom's house before she died, and we had a list of issues that needed our attention. There was the backed up shower drain in one end of the house and very low hot water pressure at the other end of the house. In between were a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal that needed to be replaced. I started to call the plumber my mom had used for years (NOT Holland), but I things they had told my mom in the past made me leery about using them. I called my cousin, who managed Lubbock apartments most of her career, for a recommendation. She said to call Donnie Holland's Plumbing.
I am so glad I did. They were wonderful. The kitchen faucet and garbage disposal were done in almost no time. They quickly figured out where the shower clog was and cleared it. The low hot water pressure was a tricker problem. They spent a couple of hours diagnosing why the pressure in the back bathroom was so low and how to fix it. It was the end of the day by the time they finished diagnosing the problem. They said they would come back today and run a new hot water line. They were here by ten this morning and were done in about two hours. They ran a new hot water line the full length of the house, from the hot water heater to the far bathroom. They had to remove the things in the bathroom linen closet and under the bathroom sink to access what they needed. When they left I couldn't tell they had been here. Everything was back its place, tidy and clean. They even put insulation on the new pipe before they left. I couldn't be happier! I will call Holland's the next time I need a Lubbock plumber.
