Needed a plug in my garage. They quoted a good price and after seeing what I needed they actually came in under their quote, electrician was fast and informative. Good solid company I would use them again.

If you want your personal belongings stolen, definitely call these guys! An electrician by the name of Johnathan just left our home after spending 2+ hours doing work for us. Per my husband, the electrical work was quality. What ISN'T okay though is Johnathan stealing things from our garage and blaming it on rushing. LSS: a kayak had to be moved out of the way for Johnathan to access the wall behind where it is stored. My husband used his drill to move this and Johnathan completed his work. Wanting to put everything back immediately after Johnathan leaving, my husband leaves the drill out. Prior to Johnathan leaving, my husband notes that his drill is gone and low and behold it's found in Johnathan's truck. He's cool about this initial encounter as it maybe could have been an accident since they do look similar. Oddly though, Johnathan has put our drill on the other side of his truck and notes that all of his personal equipment has his own initials on it. So you didn't intentionally take our drill despite knowing where you usually store yours and that this one doesn't have your initials on it? Interesting. My husband decides to chalk it up to a genuine error and tips the guy $20.

After Johnathan leaves, we start looking around the garage to see if anything else if out of place. My husband quickly notices that the battery on his leaf blower has been swapped out. This is especially jarring as the leaf blower was a full 2 car parking spots away in front of other items including a child's toy car. In order to reach the leaf blower, someone had to meticulously step OVER numerous things. There was zero reason to touch our leaf blower or any equipment the wasn't next to the wall being worked on. Furthermore, my husband doesn't use the smaller battery now attached to the leaf blower on this equipment because it dies sooner. For reference, a Milwaukee XC5 - the one left for us - costs $67 and a Milwaukee XC8 - the one stolen - costs $200.

Upon discovery of the swapped battery, my husband calls Johnathan back and asks him if he stole our battery. He immediately says he'll turn around and they can look through his truck together. He doesn't sound surprised, he sounds like he knows exactly what we're referencing. Several minutes go by and Johnathan calls saying he's back at our house. He just spent 2 hours here, but he isn't at our house. He's apparently 4 houses down. You don't recall where you just left from? Johnathan pulls up in to our driveway and has his bag out on the tailgate and low and behold, our higher capacity battery is riiiiiight there. He knew exactly where it was. He talked in circles about how he was just rushing and he has great reviews and yada yada. I have a video of his return if the authorities or any other suspicious customers would like to see it. He offers for my husband to go through his truck and keeps blabbing about how it was an accident. At this point, this was clearly NOT an accident. He sure did get out of here quickly once the drill and now battery were returned...

While waiting for Johnathan to return, my husband calls the office and speaks with David to alert him of the situation. After the battery was returned, we called David back to close the loop. David could not have given a shit less. He claimed Johnathan is his little brother and has great reviews and he has no reason to steal things because we supply all of the equipment. Dude, I don't know why people steal things any time, but it is super clear that this was intentional and David was NOT trying to hear that. He was sure to inform us they have a $300,000 a year business though and this guy gets paid $30/hour. Good for you? He kept talking in circles saying things sounded weird and yea, it sure does. At the end of the call, we ask for our service fee and the tip money back. David quickly agrees to this and sends us a Venmo for that total. Who knows what else is missing. At this point, we're probably still taking a loss despite having our service fee and tip refunded. We can get our stuff back when we figure out what else was taken though I suppose because when you call these guys out, you do get your belongings back no problem because they know what they've done.

You've been warned about this company. Should we find anything else missing, we'll be sure to alert the police as we should have done from the start.

We purchased 4 new ceiling fans for our house in Alvarado. We were given a very fair estimate and Jonathan Medina came out to the house and installed all 4 in a very efficient time. He cleaned up the work sites and helped me get the old fans out to the trash. Very nice individual and I appreciated his conversation. Would definitely recommend DLI to friends!

If you want a friendly, effective and reliable electrician, look no further. I was placed with this company though my home warranty after the initial electrician gave me the run around for a month. Within 24 hours of being assigned, my original job + an additional job was completed. Jonathan immediately diagnosed the problem and gave recommendations for some other problems I had with my home. The OWNER then called me to discuss the project and we ended up adding a new job. The owner stayed in the phone with me to discuss my options, we exchanged pictures back and forth and came up with a game plan for all my electrical / lighting projects inside and out. He was very patient going over everything and the quote was excellent. I could tell that he was an overall good guy and he hires  good people. If anyone asked me for a recommendation I would not hesitate  to provide his contact info.

We needed to file a claim for a ceiling lighting issue with our home warranty and these are the guys that came out.  I feel so bad that we didn't catch his name, but he was excellent!  He was very friendly and so helpful. He took care of the problem and answered all of our questions!  My husband has some ideas of work he wants to do and the gentleman was more than happy to let him pick his brain a bit.  I would highly recommend them and would go back for any electrical work.

Jonathan came out to fix an electrical issue in my guest room. I have an older home so the wiring was a bit tricky to figure out but he was a total pro as he crawled through my attic to figure it out. He explained everything he was doing, was professional, kind, and was super speedy. Would definitely hire again and again!

I came across DLI Electric in my search for an electrician to install an electrical outlet in the garage ceiling, an exhaust fan in each bathroom, and a vent hood. David gave me a fair price and scheduled me for the installs. Jonathan came out and did an awesome job completing the work. He took the time to answer any questions I had. I was very impressed that he took the time to clean up everything when he was done. I would not hesitate to hire again.

Jonathan was very knowledgeable and knew right away what the issue was.  He took care of it efficiently and explained what was happening as well.  I would highly recommend DLI and Jonathan and plan on using them in the future if I have any other electrical needs.

I had some exterior home lighting that was not working and Jonathan from DLI came out and quickly sorted where the short was located. He then replaced the shorted wiring and got everything functional. Jonathan was engaging, professional and patient. I would recommend DLI.

To all reading this , I just wanted to take this opportunity to express our profound gratitude for a great, and courteous experience we had working with DLI. David's communication was instrumental his Tech Johnathan was above reproach his experience  level was top notch as he was able to quickly identify two different circuit problems that were not on the inspectors report! Jonathon saved the day as we were under time constraint's. I would definitely recommend DLI for electrical service needs to anyone.I am sure we will call as needed for any projects at our new home in the future!

Shady company. I advised I wanted two separate quotes for work being done at different times. Backs out the last minute and wants to charge a $40 extra from what was quoted. Don't trust this company to do any work. Find someone else. See my attached picture. This company is a JOKE!

The response below is NOT correct. I still have the piece of paper that shows it was to be done at SEPARATE times. Either your employee is lying to cover his a... or the customer(me) is making it up. (Not true)  yes you did contact me and I responded to your calls and texts. Then you slapped on an extra 40. I found a real electrician who is reliable who did the work for the agreed price for less than you offered. I even told the person via text I was NOT happy about you pulling a fast one and upping your agreed price and that i would be writing a bad review. Radio silence from him. Perhaps you should fire him and get someone in who can deal with customers better. I strongly recommend STITT ELECTRIC. (Can find them on my profile with my other reviews. They have A LOT of 5 star reviews from happy customers including me)

Couldn't ask for a better company to help me with my electrical problem. Jonathan was very nice and you could tell he knew what he was doing. This is the kind of service and people you want to work on your problems at home. I will definitely  be calling them back and referring them to others.

Had a serious residential electric over the long Memorial Day weekend. Wife called the national firms with their Free quotes that of course you end paying for. I reached out to David here. Explained my issue was able to send Jonathan his rock star electrician the following morning at 8 a.m.  Jonathan exceeded my very high electrical service knowledge and patience. In no time everything was fixed at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend reaching out to David. Keep it local. Keeping it reasonably priced for excellent work. Of course ask for Jonathan.

Very prompt, professional, and thorough.  Showed up right on schedule, fixed everything, and even took the time to explain everything to prevent further problems.  They are the first repair contractor I've ever hired that seemed to actually care about doing the best job possible.  I wish they could teach the other repair companies how it should be done!

Great company and very professional. Had a CB tripping on the Air Handler while operating the furnace due to faulty wiring by the HAVC installation. Due to the coming Winter Storm they stayed late in the evening to work on this for me to ensure that I would have heat available.  Definitely will use them in all future electrical needs moving forward. Highly recommended.

I called just yesterday evening and they were able to fit us in this morning.  David and Jonathan came exactly when they said they would, were extremely polite, and were quick with their work.  Their pricing was extremely reasonable, and the finished product looks and works great.  My wife and I would definitely recommend giving them a call.

Jonathan at DLI tackled several issues we had in a half a days time that we had put off for a year and a half! He was prompt, honest, educated, well priced while having no issue communicating when needed! I highly recommend them, thank you DLI

Excellent work, on time, great communication, and fair prices.  DLI, specifically Jonathan and David, have done a lot of work on my house.  They did the electrical from start to finish in my 950 sq ft master suite addition.  I have called them out multiple times since to do upgrades on the existing house too.  All it takes is clear communication on what you want and they make it happen very efficiently and at fair price.  This is one contractor I will keep in my phone and recommend to others.

I've been a customer of DLI since 2015. I'm always happy to support other Puerto Ricans' businesses. Jonathan, the subcontractor, was super nice and helpful. Here's my problem, they used to be a small company and were reasonable. It seems like their company has grown and now feel like charging an arm and a leg for a small visit. Jonathan was at my house for 20 minutes. It turned out I didn't have any electrical issues. Just by observing he told me all I needed was new lightbulbs. He changed literally 3 lightbulbs. They charged me $152!!! I called David, the owner, and asked if that was really the case and he explained that it was $60 for the trip, $80 for labor and taxes. $80 for changing 3 lightbulbs?!?! I told him he lost me as a client. I 100% agree with paying for the trip, but $80 for 20 minutes is outrageous! I have 2 other more reasonable electricians that I could've called. That'll teach me. Lesson learned.
