Excellent service, fair price, would use them again and will recommend to others. Excellent communication from them thruout. There was a ceiling fixture failure that I could not resolve and was causing concern about a possible fire hazard. I requested service online after normal hours. Clements responded quickly the next morning and sent a qualified electrician out promptly. The fixture issue was resolved quickly.

We were looking for a good electrician that could figure out why half of the kitchen had no power.  Heath came out and began looking into what was going on.  My main concern was to be able to use the outlets to cook for the holidays.  He did not leave until were had all our outlets working.  They cleaned up after themselves - couldn't tell they had ever been in the house.  And Heath has a large Christmas Jack in the Box head on his van.  So cute!

Josh was our technician and was exceptional. We had a household full of issues stemming from the freeze a couple of years ago and were daunted by pricing and lack of positive experience with vendors. Josh went above and beyond. He answered all of our questions, was very upfront with pricing, and went above and beyond with his time and expertise. Very impressed and will be sending all our friends to Clements.

I used this company in the past and was happy with the work and price (2017)The first installation included changing 4 lighting  fixtures on my 18-20foot ceilings and lightbulb change on two ceilings fans of similar height. (1st picture)
I understand Prices change, but If I knew the price was going to double and the service would significantly decline, I would have not trusted them to install 4 simple lighting fixtures in my media room.
The company is very responsive initially but as soon as I tried to contact this company both via phone and email it was dead silence. I wanted my bill to be reviewed. The 4 lights in my media room could be a accessible by a foot stool, and the previous fixtures had already been removed because I recently got the room painted. All the electrician had to do was connect the wires. The contractor came during a work call and I admit I mistakingly confused the 8 on my bill for a 3. He arrive an hour early. Almost $900 to put a lighting fixture on the wall, and the technician didn't even put the crystals on the light. (2nd picture). The job was completed under an hour.

It was my human error on the quote. But I still would have have been out of $80 if I declined the quote. I think this company should provide at least a starting price before the trip is made
The one star is because the company wouldn't even give me the respect to call me back to discuss my bill, and deceiving business practices. I was totally ghosted.

It was very easy to get hold of them and make an appointment.
It was not an emergency (breaker needed replacing for garbage disposal) but I had someone at my house the next day.
Joey D showed up at the door and was very nice and professional.  
He checked to make sure that it was truly just a breaker issue (which it was) and had the problem resolved in no time.
Would use them again for sure.

Hunter did an excellent job removing our dining room chandelier, from a 20' ceiling, and installing a new one. My big disappointment was in the cost. Two years ago Clements did the very same work in the same location for half of what they charged us this time.  They did a good job two years ago and it cost us twice as much for the same job two years later!  We will rethink using Clements again.

Let me start with how impressed I am with this company from Clements elcectric in Alvarado, Texas.
First off, the Technitian was prompt and the customer service was the best that I have had in over two years.  Guillermo Rosas was professional, safe, polite and seemed very experienced.  He went out of his way to explain the problem of the utility issues that we were having and taught us how to correctly reset out breakers correctly and explained when to call for issues related to our electric.  I truely am impressed with the level of service that we recieved today and it did not cost an arm and a leg.  Thank you, Clements Electric and their  technician, Guillermo. You are now the only company that I wish to call for any future issues regarding home electric.

They charge $479 to take down a light fixture and put up a ceiling fan. They won't tell you that cost before the technician comes to your home so they can charge you $79 for the trip. Then they want another $379. For the installation. I said no, paid the $79 and sent them away.

I had a pre- inspection done & they found several things wrong!  We had
previously had another electric company come out & make repairs. But the inspector found the same things wrong that were supposed to have been fixed!  So I was reffered to Clements Electric. When I called to make my appointment I had a few questions so the owner took my call and answered all my questions! This is a family owned business & they care about their customers. They arrived on time & were very professional & knowledgeable.
They also found the problem that had been missed. I also needed for them to come back out & check on another repair that we need to have done. So Mike the owner came out. He is the nicest guy & super knowledgeable. Clements is the only company we will ever need.

I have used Clements Electric twice now, most recently to investigate and then replace a bad main breaker at my house.  Hunter and Joey were very professional and knowledgeable and got my problem diagnosed and fixed without any problems.  I highly recommend these folks for any electrical issue.

Excellent, from start to finish.  They put in our Generac generator.  Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable.  Able to install generator immediately, not the 5 month wait that other installers required.  Very patient with us, ensured we understood every part of the installation process and use of our generator.  Really enjoyed working with them and will be calling them again for any additional projects.

Simple installation of an Ethernet cable but the gentlemen that came out were courteous, knowledgeable, and everything went smoothly. Definitely will be using for any electrical needs and will recommend services to anyone in need!

Update: After speaking with the company rep they refunded a portion of the repair price to cover repair expenses. I appreciate them making things right for the damages. As such I have raised from a 1 star to 3 star.

***DO NOT USE**  This company is absolutely horrible! Called them to give me an estimate to run power to my house to the work shed. Was given a decent estimate in writing, called them back to schedule however, this is were it gets crazy. The service guy comes not dressed to do the work or with and equipment or helpers.  That was my first red flag!!! Then the guy tell me the other worker that wrote the estimate had been fired and the estimate that he gave me would no longer be honored..Can you say Bait & Switch. He gives me another freaking estimate 350% more that the original! Like what the Hell!!! Then had the audacity  to ask me when can he start???  The money was not the issue let me just put it out there.  It's the dang principle of standing behind your word especially when you have it in writing.  If that jack bunny had of even tried to negotiate with me then I would have been more incline to work with him but he didn't...  ***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY GO ELSE WHERE OR YOU WILL GET THE OLE BAIT AND SWITCH JUST LIKE I DID****

I had an issue with some can lights not wanting to stay in the ceiling and my dryer was flipping the breaker everytime I turned it on. I reached out to my home warranty company and they set me up with Clements Electric. The company called me the next business day and was able to get me an appointment the following day. Frank was assigned to my call and on the day of the appointment called me with his ETA. He arrived promptly as he stated and I showed him the issues. He was able to fix my breaker and explain what the possible reasons for the original problem could be. He also said to call him back if it tripped again after he replaced the breaker. He then fixed the can lights and even showed me what to do if it happened again. He provided great customer service and I'll definitely be calling Clemets again for some future electric work I have planned.

I contacted them on a Monday & they came out to give me an estimate that Friday. They gave me an estimate & after I approved it they scheduled the job for a few days later. The workers did the job of re-running  5 wires 40 feet, cleaned up afterwards & the job was done. Thank you, Clements.

Had a great experience with Clements this morning.  Andrew arrived on time, diagnosed a very tricky problem within an hour, diagnosed a second problem in about 2 minutes, and fixed everything in about 15 minutes.  No deception, no upsellling, nothing but getting the job done as efficiently and safely as possible.

I will be using Clements from now on.  Thanks, guys and gals.

Saw them at the Home and Garden Show and scheduled an estimate a couple days later. Two men came out to give me an estimate and a quote. Went ahead and scheduled the job to be done a week later. I received a phone call 30 minutes before they were supposed to be here to install 3 outlets in the backsplash of my Island in my kitchen only for them to tell me they didn't feel comfortable cutting into the tile of my backsplash. Why on Earth would you wait until 30 minutes before our scheduled appointment for the work to be done to tell me that you're not going to be here to do the work? If you didn't feel comfortable doing the work, you should have stated that during the estimate. Terrible business practice.

They are experts in their craft - there were a few things that other electricians hadn't been able to troubleshoot correctly but Clements figured them out. Very courteous and have a great system to keep in touch with the customer. However their prices are exuberant.  I have done quite a bit of improvements in my house and know what the ranges for various services are. I went over all the my punch list items with the electrician and got a work call, so we didn't discuss the prices. I was shocked that I was charged $217 per hr  for service only. I understand that they might have set fees per catalogue of services but if the client gives them 4 hrs of work, I expect them to offer an hourly rate or have a bundle fee. Will not seek their services again.

Scheduled free estimate for patio fan installation (20 ft. High) at home and garden show.  Day of appointment got a call from the person who was assigned.  Told me 20' high would require a $129 ladder rental.  Scammers.

Very unreliable.  Took me and my landlord at least 5 calls and more then a week to set up appointment for electrician to fix a shorted GFI plug.  

Appointment was set for Friday with a 3 hour window - no one showed up nor did front office call to let me know that electrician would not be keeping appointment.  Got a call on Monday only after landlord had to call them again to see what the problem was.  Jennifer was not very apologetic but she did get a guy out here.

I'm sure there are way more professional companies out there; so stick to someone that knows the ins and outs of running an efficient, customer facing business.

Excellent Service from start to finish. Mr. Clement came out on the initial bust to analyze the situation and to offer repair solutions. After a thorough examination of my electric situation Mike presented me with different solutions. I chose to have all the outlets and fuse box replaced. I knew up front what I was looking at price wise and was comfortable with it as it was a permanent solution.        On the next visit the guys got right to it: once inside and one outside. It was a big job and they worked all day long. They found a couple of plugs that I had forgotten about!  They hit a couple of surprises by handles them like pros.  Great job by a great company!  Mike, Fred and Scholar did great. Mike even came out on install day and gave his seal of aoptical.

Left old wiring in the wall. Charged 4 hrs of labor and only took 1 1/2 hr to complete. He knew it was a fast job, but presented it as if it would be 4hrs to complete. His communication was horrible and very impersonal. Need a shower after conducting business with them.
