What a joke!  
After they made an appointment through my warranty company (First American), they no called/ no showed.  When I called the warranty company, First American said Black Tie is saying they never made the appointment.  
Not everyone has the ability to take off work (now for 2 different days) to sit around for a no call/ no show!  
What a waste of time.  You should be ashamed and embarrassed!

Black Tie service tech did a great job on fixing our Roman tub cold water faucet handle, several other plumbing companies came out and could not fix the problem and I'm going to request them all the time now...A#1 Business!

OUTSTANDING!  I feel fortunate that the plumber assigned to me was Jeremy Wilkerson.  He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and personable. Not only did he do a great job fixing my garbage dispoal, he also took the time to answer any and all questions that I had.  Additionally, he made sure that everything was as clean or cleaner when he left.  This included bringing a small towel to put on the floor under his toolbox. That was a very nice and unexpected touch.  I highly recommend Black Tie Plumbing and Jeremy Wilkerson.

Complete idiots. Their truck is blocking my driveway, can't seem to find them, and they aren't answering the phone. I'm about to call the police.

This morning Jeremy Wilkerson cane to my house to fix a clogged sink. Jeremy was very professional, he was promt, considerate and was very knowledgeable of his job. Other plumbing companies I have used never displayed this professionalism. This spoke highly of him as an individual employee and the management that runs this great company. Cody did an excellent job at our place. I was traveling out of town so my wife had to be there to let him in. Cody was extremely prompt, polite, and professional. She was extremely happy and wants to use Cody and black tie for any of our plumbing needs. Thanks for the excellent service!

Blacktie plumbing was the only plumbing company that could come out after the snowstorm and replace our hot water heater in such a short amount of time. Daniel came out Monday afternoon and will able to get us a new 50 gallon water heater installed and brought our existing connections up to code. They also pulled permit permit and had the city inspector come out the following day, to verify the work and we pass with flying colors I highly recommend Blacktie Plumbing.

Told me they would get me help with my hot water heater and never responded when I asked for a status. This was on a Friday. I suppose they're used to leaving folks hanging with no hot water over the weekend. I guess another plumbing company will get my business and my recommendation on YELP.

By far the best plumbers staff I've ever, these guys really knows how to really make things happen.  They provided me with quick and effective work, I will highly recommend this business to anyone.  I'm a military guy and I very picky about stuff, I don't worry about anything when they do work in my house.  Thanks you guys y'all the best by far in the metroplex.

We had a shower valve replaced and we're very please with the work and the price! We had other estimates done and black tie had the best priced quote! Also Mark who did our estimate and the work was very knowledgeable and you can tell he really takes pride in the work that he does!

Posted earlier I was unable to reach the Company.  The effort to reach me has been appropriately aggressive and I appreciate what appears to be a sincere desire to move this along.  Being in sales, I know things can happen, however how the problem is rectified speaks volumes.  Still pending service, but the response has been good.

I will definitely recommend black tie plumbing , I had written a not so review earlier due to miscommunication but Larissa the office manager took the time to call me and straighten everything up. The technician was pleasant and got the problem fixed in no time, very professional and friendly. I will use black tie plumbing going forward because a good reliable plumbing company like black tie is had to find.

They didn't even come out. After Augerpros bid such a ridiculous amount, I told Blacktie what I wanted done and how much I thought it was worth, and they scoffed at me and said they would charge even more than Auger Pros wanted. So, naaa, can't afford this kind of pricing. Maybe they get that kind of money working on commercial jobs, but not from me. I just can't pay $1,000 or more for simple repairs like that.

Six months after they did a repair I had a related problem (things happen sometimes, I don't think it was any fault of theirs)  At first it was a little bumpy trying to get the problem fixed (possibly because it was the busy holiday season), but then they stepped up and made everything right.

Everyone who came out to my house was polite and helpful, explaining what they were doing and why.

Highly recommend - any company can look good when everything goes well.  They looked great even when there was a problem.

What a fantastic experience we had with Black Tie! From the initial call from our home warranty company, through the closing of the job, Black Tie Plumbing was great. They are professionals through and through. My new go-to plumbers in the metroplex!

Michael and Cody went above and beyond to fix my plumbing issues. They also took the time to answer all my questions which I really appreciated! Would definitely recommend Black Tie Plumbing.

My foundation company, Perma-Pier basically told me they only accepted/trusted the work they could vouch for. So they wanted me to use Black Tie to perform a hydrostatic test before any foundation was repaired. This was supposed to be $150, but I was charged $500. They charged an additional $350 for a leak detection test that was never discussed or agreed upon. They then wanted to quote me $5000 to perform the slab repair with a generous discount of $1,700. I declined their work and asked for refunds because the worker never even completed the hydrostatic test (perhaps due to discovering the leak), but either way charged me for both without my permission or awareness. I used a different plumbing company that successfully did all the work without any argument for $1,700. A FRACTION and way less stress than what Black Tie had to offer. Scamming people out of money. Charging them for incomplete work. Then arguing about rightful refunds.

We had a water leak in the laundry room. Black Tie plumbing was able to identify the source of the leak and repair. They responded to our service request promptly and their technician Jeremy Wilkerson was professional, courteous and did a great job repairing the damaged pipe. I would highly recommend Black Tie Plumbing.

It took me almost two weeks to get a hold of someone to schedule appointment after they gave me quote. After coming to fix my plumbing issues the kitchen faucet was installed backwards and someone else had to come to fix it and install correctly. The faucet in the bathroom isn't putting out water after it was fixed, so they are sending someone else out to look at it to try to fix it. I know businesses want perfect reviews on yelp but this was my experience with this company. If you put a bad review they will ask you to remove it or change it,  so they can have perfect rating.  No one is perfect. I did change my score because they did try to make it right.

How I found Black Tie Plumbing...

We have a slab foundation, our  house was built in 1964 with cast iron sewage pipes.  
Foundation work was done to our house before we could buy it in 2006. Perma Pier did the work and gave a life time warranty- 2 years ago they came back because we had some foundation issues, they honored the warranty and fix the problem.

While looking for a plumbing company to find out, why for 10 years we kept having problems with drainage in the north end of the house I discovered Perma Pier has a plumbing subset for problems like ours. So that's how I found their sister(?) company Black Tie Plumbing.

It was gut wrenching and depressing when they gave us the estimate to replace the corroded pipes causing the problem. We decided to get several estimates and explore other options like pipe lining. Baker Brothers gave us an estimate of $60,300.00, several others ranged from $35K down to $18K for partial replacement and/or partial pipe lining.

The initial diagnostic estimate from Black Tie was $360 to put the camera down the pipes and locate the problem. After considering a partial fix and looking at estimates for a complete replacement (the 112 feet of tunneling is the biggest expense) we chose Black Tie.  

Black Tie provided several options from replacing the entire sewer drainage to partial replacement to help us reduce the costs. (Ranging from $11,000 to just under $30,000) We decided on the total replacement, knowing it will increase the value of our home. All the sewage lines were replaced with PVC. They pulled the toilets and even took pictures of the work as it progressed for us. The workers accommodated us fully, not leaving us without drainage for more than a few hours and never overnight. The guys were all very courteous and clean and left the yard in very good shape afterward.

Called my home warranty company about a plumbing problem, and they assigned Blacktie Plumbing. Jeremy Wilkerson with Blacktie Plumbing arrived on time and identified the problem. The problem was corrected quickly. Leaky wax seal, bad float valve, bad flapper and leveled toilet. Jeremy was courteous and very knowledgeable. HIGHLY recommend BLACKTIE PLUMBING would never hesitate to call. Thanks again Jeremey and BLACKTIE PLUMBING.

Daniel came to our house earlier today to replace a hot water circulation pump.  He was extremely professional, on time, and very knowledgeable when I asked him questions. I would highly recommend him and Black tie plumbing.

Chad, at your suggestion I sent you an email.....on January 1. I was kinda expecting a response by now.

While I have not used many plumbers, I would hope that they could all be as good as the people from Black Tie Plumbing. Jeremy was on time, made sure to call ahead, answered all my questions, and worked with me and their distributor to get a water heater that met my needs. I highly recommend their service and will definitely look to use them for future plumbing jobs.

We had experience a leak around the toilet,  the response time was the next day.  The Plumbers  check the problem, we decided to replaced the toilet, that we purchased from the store. The plumbers returned in a timely matter to install the toilet.  Plumbers very friendly and professional.

Blacktie just replaced our home water heater. Shopped around for price, ratings scores and services received. They were honest in their dealings and fair in their pricing. Daniel came out, on time, clean and masked. Very meticulous in his work! We have replaced this water heater ourselves in the past, so I know how to do the work and he did an excellent job! I could not have done it any better! 5 stars says it all, excellent!

I wrote this review about a month or so ago for the very first time  I used Black Tie Plumbing. However, when I added a second review today for a recent service call I accidentally deleted it so I am rewriting it.  

Black Tie was sent through my home warranty company. Kevin who came out was professional, helpful (as I had many questions for him), knowledgeable and kind. I had a broken garage disposal that he worked on. He did a great job. I also had  another company come out for a different issue. There was a district difference in how Kevin answered my questions and in his honesty. I will only request Black Tie in the future from my home warranty company. Thank you Kevin!

Very nice guys and very knowledgeable. Made sure the work area was clean before they left. I would recommend this company over any company out there.

The plumber that came over to fix  our water heater was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Even my mom, who is rarely impressed by anyone, thinks he is great. Will use him again for future problems.

Black Tie Plumbing really came through for us today!!! We called and in 30 minutes they send a plumber over to fix our bathroom faucet he was in and out in 30 minutes as well..Plumber was really nice and explained the situation and what he did to fix it thoroughly. Kevin from Black Tie Plumbing did a great job fixing our toilet issues.  He troubleshooted several different problems with our old toilets and now we have turbo-flushing toilets instead of slow stinky ones!  I can take the plunger out of the bathroom!  We're happy!  Now I can invite friends over without saying,  you can come over as long as you promise not to poop.

Tony Dang who works for Blacktie plumbing has No morals. I had some foundation work done and he came in to do the post foundation sewer leak check to make sure everything was still ok. Even though they only raised the foundation less than an inch. He tells me that the sewer line had all of these cracks in it. Mind you the sewer line was completely fine before the foundation repair. He tells me that he has to come in my house and tear my floors up to try and find and repair the cracks. Knowing that would cost thousands of dollars and it not sounding right, I decided to get a second opinion. I called an HONEST licensed plumbing company, they did their sewer leak test and they told me that there were NO cracks or breaks in the sewer line and everything was fine. I wish I could give this company zero stars. Tony Dang is a crook, and should be ashamed of himself. If you are smart, don't use this company!!!

Cody came out and got straight to work identifying the issue. He explained everything... I really appreciate the thorough and diligent nature of his work ethic and professionalism. Top notch service and definitely my new source for all plumbing needs.

A week and a half later we had Black Tie come out again for another, unrelated issue. This time it was Mark and yet again, outstanding service! He was professional, friendly and explained everything that needed to be done. The connections under the sink were as clean and perfect as they could be once he was done. Black tie has the market cornered on professional/reliable employees!

Thank you BlackTie plumbing. Michael S. arrived on time and was thorough with his inspection. He was professionally and dressed as well as polite. He was a great help and properly repaired a clocked drain and outside spicket. I would highly recommend him.

So...our realtor gave us this company's name. I called, spoke with one rep, explained what we needed, only to be put on hold and given to another rep who I again explained what we needed. We set up an appointment (for today) but not one ever called or showed up...nothing. Not acceptable! If this is an indication of their work probably for the best.

Michael and Cody are awesome. Both are very pleasant. They took their time to explain the problem and what needs to be done to repair it. And they got things squared away with HQ, which gets things going with the home warranty people, etc. I would recommend Black Tie Plumbing without hesitation.

Let me start by saying, I typically don't get that excited about home repairs. They are a drag and stressful to deal with. Having said that - Fasten your seatbelts because probably for the first time ever, I will be gushing about my experience today with Black Tie Plumbing.

I noticed our water bills had been increasing uncontrollably over the past few months for no good reason. Last night we went out to the meter after making sure nothing in the house was running, and the meter was literally spinning so fast you couldn't keep up with it. I went onto Yelp, read reviews for Black Tie, so I set up a service request at around 10pm.

Now, given my past experiences with other service companies, I was expecting we wouldn't receive any contact for at least a day. NOPE. At 8:15 this morning, the young lady with Black Tie called to let me know they could have someone at the house between 8:30 and 10 am. WOW!

Daniel Fitzgerald called me about 10 minutes later saying he was about 30 minutes out. He arrived when promised and was very professional and friendly. I discussed the 'symptoms' with him. Within a half hour he had located the problem - about five feet from the meter, we had a leak in the water line, which home warranty would not have covered since the problem was outside the perimeter of the foundation. As Daniel worked, he explained both the cause of the problem, and the way he would be correcting it.

Start to finish took about 90 minutes tops; he replaced the line from that junction point where the hole was back to the meter, turned the water back on, and OMG a still meter! It was a sight to behold. Problem solved and reasonably priced.

Every facet of my interaction with Black Tie was absolutely stellar. The singular regret that I have through this experience is that I didn't reach out to them four months ago when I first noticed the climb in usage on the bills. I will happily remain a Black Tie Plumbing customer for life, and rest assured yours will be the only name I throw out there when I hear about someone needing plumbing work done.

Outstanding service.  Good communicators.  On time, cleaned up nicely.  Matt represents them very well, from beginning to end.  I'm a big fan for underfloor pipe repair.  My project was pretty tricky--slab on grade.

Blacktie did backfall work in our foundation to fixed a plumbing issue. They dug over 40 feet of tunnel to do this work in 2109.
The work was undertaken by gehan homes, our builder who paid blacktie. It was an expense of several thousand $$$$( I was not shared the details but I know based on a quote provided by Berkeys).
I never thought that I would have the sewage backup problem however
in 2022, less than 2 years later, the exact same problem of sewage backing in bathroom  started in the exact same spot Blacktie fixed. Now they want to charge us monies to fix it again - Didnt we have warranty ? I never thought that the problem would occur again and gehan homes was handling the repair, an expense of over  $10k so we didn't think much of it. We were just glad to ge tried if the disgusting sewage backup. Blacktie's work was  backed up by ONLY a year's warranty  while other companies give a 5 year warranty for the same job!
Clearly seems like Blacktie did not have faith in its own work by shortchanging us on the warranty terms.

I would be very careful giving  an expensive repair job to Blackie since they dont stand behind their own work.  What a disappointing experience  with Blacktie in DFW area!

These guys are great. We had a drain clogged that was causing a backup in our utility closet where our A/C units are. This was causing problems with our A/C. Jeremy Wilkerson came out late one night to try and fix the problem. Despite multiple attempts he could not fix it. It was getting very late so we agreed it would be best to come back during the day. He came back and fixed the problem. He has a great attitude and knows his stuff. We will call him anytime we need a plumber. Give these guys a call. The are the best in the business. Thanks Jeremy! Just had someone out for a service call.  First, he didn't call ahead 30 minutes prior to arrival as promised. We are in a global pandemic and he had no protective gear at all. As I began telling him, through my Ring doorbell, that I was uncomfortable having someone in my home under these circumstances, he just walked away, got in his truck and drove off. Of course there is no human being to speak to, as all numbers go to voice mail.

Black Tie was the 3rd plumbing contractor dispatched by my home warranty company to unclog the blockage - so is there truth to the old timers saying of  the 3rd time is a charm??  Well, I reckon so!!

Recently had a problem with my water heater that was old and needed to be replaced. They were able to get to me on the same day that I called and my bill was a little less than what I was quoted over the phone. They were very professional and courteous. Daniel and Trey were very nice and pleasan. I cannot tell you how grateful and thankful that Black Tie was the first company pick up the phone when I called. I left messages with 2 other companies. One called me back as Black Tie was finishing up and the other company called me back the next day.
