This rating should be zero - they give you an all day window 8 to 5 they say they can't do any better than that and then they don't show up. Call me dumb but I gave them a three opportunities on the third one they promised me I could be the first appointment and again they never showed up. You can't really call in and complain because the calls go direct to a scheduling service it feels like they are actually subcontracting the work out as well.

My experience mirrors the others here. Used them through Home Depot as I was replacing my floors. Toilets leak. Won't come out to fix them. They call and say they are on their way and never show up. Use at your own risk!

This is simply stated, a horrible plumbing company. I only used them because they are an authorized vendor for Home Depot when you pay for plumbing services. They do not give you a time frame for when they will be there. They are very unprofessional. I was not able to pick up the phone when they were on the way even though I had just talked to their company 30 minutes prior to them calling telling them that I'm home and waiting for them to reconnect my water/sink. So, they never showed up to my house. When I was able to call they told me I would have to reschedule. They also lost a part to my garbage disposal between the time they disconnected it for the counter top guys and the next day when they came back. We had to go out and buy another part. Please do not use them and ask Home Depot who the contractor is. If it's them, don't purchase the plumbing service through Home Depot. Lesson learned!!

Recently used them through home depot for disconnect and reconnect of water in the kitchen for a counter install.

Do not use this company. Ill tell you why.

Plumber showed up late, had the installers waiting around our house for the plumber to finally be found, as he was AWOL to the company as well.
Guy finally shows, does very unprofessional work.
When reinstalled come back, our under sink cabinet is flooded.
After promising to fix the issue, Mike Conway spoke to us horribly and basically said its not his problem and treated us like we were the ones getting paid. He refused to make up for his plumbers mistake.

Home Depot, please pull contracts from this group. They are dishonest and shoddy/unprofessional with their work.

This company hires a bunch of crooks. Get up your home and start jacking up prices. No professionalism at all! If you purchase from Home Depot make sure they don't assign this contractor for your install!

Home Depot sent this company to install a new push-button toilet in my master bathroom. This company removed my old toilet and accessed $75 in additional charges before telling me my new toilet wouldn't fit, leaving me without a toilet for three days now.

This was intended to be an upgrade to a more efficient toilet. My old toilet worked just fine, and my new push-button toilet was in the bathtub the entire time, including while this company managed to tack on $75 in additional charges but neglected to make sure the new toilet would fit before throwing away my old toilet.

This company should be avoided because they lack basic common sense and decency, and I also wouldn't ever trust Home Depot for an installation considering they contract with companies like this one.

I had the unfortunate choice of Home Depot using this terrible company as the contractor to install my new toilet. What should have been a simple removal and installation ended up costing me $ 1000.00 to fix what the idiot man did to my plumbing.  He not only removed my old toilet but completely removed everything around the flange, using a hammer to tear everything up, down to a hole in the floor.  Then he informed me that I had to have a completely new flange replacement, which would cost me $ 350.00.  I told him no, and he left with my old toilet. I immediately got in touch with Home Depot and they refunded my installation fee.  But, because of what this man did to my existing plumbing, I had to hire another plumber to completely rebuild my toilet system, ground up, and install the new toilet.  I can't say enough bad things about this company and I plan to go in person to my Home Depot store to make sure that they never use this unprofessional, unethical company again. And If I could, I would shout it to the world.  Never use this company if Home Depot sets you up with them.

Terrible service. Refused to stand behind their own shoddy work, which led to thousands in damages.  It's incredible that reputable businesses agree to use them as contractors.

If j could give zero stars, I would. I had to use them because I was getting floors installed through Home Depot. BBS Plumbing had to disconnect and reconnect my toilet for the flooring to be installed. Well first I was told they would be here between 8-9 in the morning. I live 2 hours away so I made a special trip to meet them here on time. He didn't get here until almost 10. I called (and no one answered the first 2 times) only to have them tell me well we just tell Home Depot customers that time slot so they can put it in their system. We don't actually stick to that time frame. Oh that would have been nice to know. So he disconnects my toilet and tells me I need to pay $250 for a new flange. What?!?! I went to Lowes and got a new one for $11. He said he would be back after the flooring people left to reconnect the toilet. Well he didn't show up. So I called the office back. No answer. Finally when I got through they say oh they always come the next day to reconnect. Again, would have been nice to know considering I live 2 hours away. So here I sit, after 9, waiting on him to come reconnect my toilet. Worst..experience...ever!

TL;DR: use a different plumbing company unless you want your hot water heater to be in worse shape than what you started with before these people serviced it.

Awful awful awful service. I wish I had done more research on this company because apparently it's well established that they provide poor work even though they are the preferred provider of Home Depot. We requested a quote for a new tankless hot water heater, which somehow got retroactively scheduled for the previous month. It took three calls and talking to three different people before I discovered that my appointment wasn't ever scheduled. In retrospect that should've been my first clue that this place is poorly run. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled another quote appointment. The person who gave us the quote seemed nice and knowledgeable and gave me a heads up that he was on his way. Wore his mask properly did everything you would expect.

We decided to proceed with them because they were the lowest bid. They showed up the day of our appointment without any warning or timeframe. Which is annoying but forgivable. However, I'm 38 weeks pregnant and one of the installers was not wearing his mask at all, was spitting in my yard in front of me and coughing throughout my house.

They attempted to start the tankless hot water installation process by testing my gas line but somehow messed that up and claimed I had a small gas leak. They flushed my tank water heater and left it in disrepair. They were completely disinterested in actually completing the service they were hired to do. So they packed up and left a giant mess. They used my bath mat as pad for their work zone.

I now don't have any hot water whereas before they came I did have it but sometimes sediment would come out. Most of it would be filtered through my faucet though so it was workable.

The installers were so incompetent they actually told me to call a plumber. I'm now paying an emergency plumbing fee from another company to fix their mess and am scrambling to get hot water before this baby arrives!

Such a nightmare. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism and the amount of risk they potentially exposed me to from possible Covid exposure or blowing up my house from their incompetence with the gas line.

BBS Plumbers provided service to disconnect and reconnect kitchen plumbing when I bought new counter tops from Home Depot. They are quick to contact you but when you need to contact them, you're on hold for over an hour and eventually the line disconnects.

As far as service goes, while the plumber arrived on time, he was a total dick. The guy left a mess on my kitchen floor and cabinet, talked over me while I was asking questions and he scuffed my door on the way out. He took a picture of the scratch and goes oh my bad. Uh, you gonna fix it or just scram?

Terrible experience from start to finish. Would not hire again. Recommend looking elsewhere.

BBS Plumbers say they take their business of serving customers very seriously and want to make it their mission to be the best and most trusted plumber serving your community. How well can they be trusted when they have distracted drivers out on the road swerving and endangering our families out on the road? I can only imagine the kind of work they do in our homes. Teach your drivers about road safety. Thanks.

BBS Plumbers are a Home Depot preferred installer. Called to get a quote for work. Appointment time available was too far out to be considered reasonable. Home Depot says they are the only plumber in the area. The Home Depot should consider having additional plumbers. Credit to Home Depot home services for trying to help but BBS Plumbers would not help.

i am not one to post bad reviews, but i had a bad experience with this company. they were contracted through home depot so it was a pretty simple job: connect plumbing in kitchen, disconnect the next day. it was all fine except our water filtration system did get hooked back up properly. the plumber said it was fine when i left it and after turning a valve (which obviously got it running) pretended it still didn't work. he said it needed to be pressurized and that he could do it... for another $250. i'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt and maybe he really did think it needed to be pressurized but he sneakily turned it back off when he was leaving! i asked did you just turn it off? and he said ya um you don't want that noise running for no reason uhhh what??? it was obvious he was try to scam me for more money. and after running for a while after he left, the water filter works now. glad i didn't get scammed and i'm disappointed home depot contracts with companies that would hire employees like this. please do your research and DONT use BBS.

Carlos came out to our house and removed and put back our toilets for flooring we are replacing from Home Depot. He did a great job! He showed us issues he found once he removed the toilets, we are truly grateful for. He was very courteous, cleaned up and around our toilets and even tightened up the toilet seats that were already loose before he came. I saw all the bad reviews and felt he personally deserved a good review.

(Long winded review)Just had a great experience. Was replacing a toilet in my master bath. I did the same for the guest bath and installed it myself. This time I was thinking I didn't want to bother with it. So I bought the toilet at HD and asked for them to install it. They said they go through 3rd party and someone would call in 24 hours to set up a time. Well I got the new toilet home and since I took out the old toilet the day before and my OCD didn't allow me to have an open whole (well one that was plugged cause of sewer gas) I installed it myself. After I was done I remembered why I wanted someone else to do it. It seemed to work for a time that day but then I noticed water slowly coming from the bottom. Frustrated I went to lunch and got a call from BBS about scheduling a time to install the toilet. I said I installed it but it is slowly leaking can someone come look at it. They said well since you installed it we have to charge a service fee (something like $50). I figured fair enough especially since they said someone could come the same day. Mark the plumber got here in the afternoon, very nice guy, and flushed the toilet and sure enough no leak. He did it a few times and no leak. Finally we notice some water and he said I believe you probably have a crack in the bowl with how slowly the water is coming out. Not what I wanted to hear but not unexpected. I of course didn't expect him to fix it but I did expect him to ask for the service fee cause he came out but he just said his good bye and that was it. He could easily asked for the fee as I was told there was a fee but he said I aint going to charge you for simply looking at it. While I am not happy there my be a crack it is nice to have a service call that didn't pile on. Thank you Mark. Once I pull the thing out and I do have a crack if I go back to HD I am going to have BBS install it

They won't give you a time frame for arrival, they'll just call you 30-45 minutes before arriving & if you can't get there within that time frame they just leave. You have to take the entire day off work to wait for them to show up. Unacceptable in this day & age. Never again will I use. Don't use Home Depot's installation service on anything!

Simply the worst! Home Depot contracts this group and it's a shame a great name brand is affiliated with this poor excuse for a company.

Apparently if you don't answer the phone during the expected timeframe they will cancel the appointment. Took the afternoon off work to care for this and was outside and didn't see the phone call and they cancelled....just never showed up.

What a joke!?!?!

Listen this rating system isn't fair because this company deserve not one star!!!! We purchased a toilet from Home Depot & paid for installation $139 to be exact. The toilet was about 3 days late so we had to reschedule installation. Day of installation comes & 4pm is creeping around & still no call or no plumber. They tell you when you make the appointment to be available the entire day because they cannot give you a time frame when they will arrive, but they will call 30 mins prior to arrival. I call BBS to make sure we still have an appointment they assure us we do. We decided to go about our normal routine because at this point it's 5:30 and we haven't received a call and we just let our nephew know someone should be coming by to install the toilet. Around 6:45 we receive a call from our nephew saying the plumber is saying he's going to have to charge us an additional $250 on top of the $139 we've already paid, again no one called us even letting us know they were headed our way. We get home the BBS plumber explains to us what's going on and he proceeds to say he's going to have to charge us an additional $275. We mention to him he told our nephew $250. He proceeds to call him a liar & says he never told anyone a number then gets frustrated & throw his arms in the air and say I never said that, but I'll do it $250. He then explains to us that any other company is going to charge us $350-$400 and he's trying to help us. My husband asked him can he just install the new toilet as is he rudely replies no, but you can do it. That's when my husband let him know he didn't have to disrespect him & he can leave. The plumber asked if we wanted him to haul our old toilet away my husband declined. He continued to try to convince us to allow him to take it which leads me to believe he planned on selling it. My husband again said no. It got to the point where my husband told him we don't need your help with anything don't touch our old toilet we can handle it. I've never experienced such poor customer service & I know this company doesn't care because they have a contract with Home Depot. All the reviews are terrible. I plan on posting my review on every site possible. Their service is so poor I'm reconsidering purchasing anything from Home Depot. There's no way they should be doing business with this company.

Do not use this company!  They showed up three hours late to disconnect the sinks, while the countertop installers were waiting around.  Then it took almost a week for them to finally hook up the sink in the laundry room.  About the best that can be said is they at least hooked up the kitchen sink the next day.  Will not ever, under any circumstances, use these clowns again.

BBS is a total rip off plumbing company!!!!! You are a fool if you use this company! They chipped our sink and they tried to charge us $1,300.00 OVER what we had already paid Home Depot for BBS just to pull and put back in our sink and bathroom commode as we were having new flooring put in our small guest bathroom. First thing their plumber said was that he would need $115.00 more to turn water off and then after we paid and  he pulled the commode he said we needed to pay him $1200.00 to put the commode back in as he needed to  straighten the pipe. We told him to leave and called out another plumber who said there was no bent pipe and that he would put both sink and commode back in for us for a lot lower price than even Home Depot had charged us. After talking to BBS they acted like they could care less about my chipped sink or over charging attempts of their employee. Home Depot needs to stop using BBS Plumping Company!

Well, I had Home Depot do the tiling for my bathroom. BBS was subcontracted to remove toilets, when they removed the toilets, they stated I needed new flanges. Ok whatever. Total cost to replace two toilet flanges and put toilets back $1130!
$190 to remove toilets, $375 per flange. Keep in mind these were upstairs with wood floor, no concrete involved.
Took guy two hours to do job.
Appealed to Home Depot corporate, they stated this was a reasonable amount.
No more Home Depot for me. Welcome to Lowes!

Used BBS Plumbers (through Home Depot). What a great experience! These folks were professional, thorough, discussed various options with the pros and cons, and had great pricing! The installation and follow-ups were great, and the quoted price was honored even though there were unforeseen extras needed at installation.

They are on my to be called list in case of plumbing issues!

I was referred to them by Home Depot and would honestly suggest Home Depot recommend another plumber. I needed to have two faucets installed. My complaints are similar to others I scheduled an appointment they could not give me a time frame of when someone would be out. I was ok with that since I work from home. They said they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I got a call but was on a call for work so I could not answer. I listened to the voicemail and they said I had 15 minutes to call before they cancelled my appointment. I called back 30 minutes after their call and was told the installer was cancelled because I did not answer the phone. I explained I was on another call and still needed the service, they then told me they couldn't get another installer out until next week.

Richard and Cantrell did an excellent job installing a toilet at my condo. They both wore masks and were absolutely professional. They came as soon as I picked up the toilet from Home Depot and made installation of the 104 pound thing look easy. I couldn't ask for better service than that. It is hard to find reliable service people here in Arkansas which made me appreciate them even more.

I just got home to hear all about the terrible service we received with our new toilet install. Reviews almost read word for word what we experienced. Up charged almost 1000 bucks for two toilets to be installed. Terrible service and we purchased our own parts. Which he managed to snag on his way out. Only two of the four toilets got installed. Home Depot? These guys, really? Don't offer the service because these people just tarnished your brand!

I was absolutely delighted with the service that I received from Same Day Water Heaters / BBS Plumbers.
Sean (Shawn? sorry if I screwed up your name) showed up in the time frame I was expecting,  he evaluated our current circumstances and told me the upgrades we would need to meet current code standards (the water heater being replaced is 16 hours old).
He explained the very reasonable requirements that got us back into code compliance.
90 minutes later, our water heater was installed and working.
It is not easy to find service providers that do what they say they are going to do at the price that they said they would. I hope I am as fortunate the next time I need help with my plumbing.
I would be quite happy to have BBS Plumbers (and Sean in particular) deal with my next plumbing problem.

I wish I read the reviews prior to them coming via Home Depot recommendation. He didn't use all the parts that came with the faucet and like magic it stopped working I wonder why???? Stayed on hold so long I forgot I was on hold. Totally unprofessional. He went on my porch to make a call and didn't know my Ring caught the entire call where he was talking about me! I setup request with Home Depot to have my bathtub replaced.  BBS plumbing called to setup an appointment within the next few days.  I was told they'd be there between 8-5pm.  I stayed home from work to ensure I didn't miss the appointment.  As it got closer to 5pm I called to see if someone was still coming and was told the plumber had 1 job in Fort Worth then would be headed my way.  2 hours later, no word from anyone.  I called to confirm if someone was still coming but was put on hold for 15 minutes.  Finally after 7pm as I'm still on hold with BBS plumbing's customer service, the plumber calls to say he's headed my way and should be there in 25 minutes.  It's 7pm and still no one has shown up.  I looked them up on Yelp and see all of the bad reviews and called back to cancel.  If it's this much of a hassle to get a quote I can't imagine how it would be once they come out or if there's a problem after you've paid them.  Things happen, I get it.  But no communication and the plumber was so nonchalant almost as if it was a bother to him.   Home Depot should find another plumbing company.  However Tawan (BBS customer service) was very friendly and apologetic.

Horrible experiences with this plumber. Bought a toilette from Home Depot and paid for installation which is provided by bbs. We had to wait a month for them to come and install. They left a mess in my restroom. And then turns out the toilette leaked. So I had to restart the process. Go get the toilette call the plumbers etc. we had to wait another month for them to come out and install the second toilette. Surprise surprise it leaked again. And not to mention the day they came they didn't show up until 7pm! I bought this toilette in May and we didn't get a working toilette until September. Then when all was said and done I noticed the plumber had scraped a bunch of paint off the wall while installing it. Did they make that right? Of course not. Props to Home Depot for working with us and doing the right thing through out the process.

This is a horrible company to employ.
I was referred to BBS plumbing from Home Depot and was given the runaround from the very beginning. They did not call to schedule an appointment within 48 hours like I was promised, so I had Home Depot get a hold of BBS for me to try to schedule a tankless water heater appointment. I was given an 8 AM to 5 PM window but they never showed. I called two times to find out where they are and was told they were on another job. Without drawing this out any further the bottom line is they never showed up, they never offered any compensation and I was left to fend for myself. Home Depot needs to break ties with BBS.
In going to Lowes to see if they can do any better.

If there was a zero rating, that is what I would give them.  Engaged them through Home Depot's service installation for a new water heater.  They said I would need to be at home from 8am to 5pm for an estimate, which I arranged to be.  No one showed up until 5:30pm, with no phone call prior.  They told me they'd have a quote to me next day.  A week later, nothing.  I repeatedly called their number, and no one picked up the phone, and no voice mail system available. I called Home Depot to find out what was going on.  The next day I receive a text from them that I would need to get an inspection from the city...? Meanwhile, I received quotes from three other plumbers on site and one offered to replace it the next day.  Worst experience with a vendor in my 22+ years of home ownership.

Most unprofessional scam artists I have ever dealt with. I waited 7 hrs for their guy Nolan to show up. On the way in he called and the first words out of his mouth is that if there is a leak in the valve he will have to charge an additional $125. There  are no leaks in my system but I got the impression that this upcharge was coming anyway. Within 10 seconds of looking at the faucet he said it be $125 addtl for each line raising the installation from Home Depots $139 to almost $390. When I told Nolan I was going to call his company to ask about this he packed up his bags ran to his truck and left! DO NOT use them!!!!

We bought a garbage disposal at Home Depot and paid over $100 to have it installed. This is the plumbing company who called to set up installation. We had to schedule over a week out. At first I didn't think this was a big deal because of the holidays. We were told they couldn't give us a time window just that they would be here Monday. I called that morning to find out when to expect them but was told they could not give us a time but that the plumber would call when he was 30 minutes away. Now remember this was for a garbage disposal installation. I told them we had an electrical outlet but no existing disposal. They guy finally comes at 3pm. I've cleaned out the sinks and under the sink. One look and they guy says it would cost another $170 because he would need to rearrange the existing PVC pipes to install the disposal. Once again -- we paid over $100 for the installs of a $200 disposal. I was not about to give over another $170. He says he thought he was just replacing an existing disposal. Once again we were paying for the installation of a disposal! He proceeded to take pictures and then call his boss to say we would not pay the extra to INSTALL our disposal. He then told us that they charged a $75 fee for all calls and that we would have to take that up with Home Depot. He was rude, dismissive and I would never call this business for any services and will definitely not pay for installation for Home Depot products if this is the service we should expect. I felt as though this company was trying to take advantage of us.

Wish there was a way to give a negative star.  The worst customer service I had ever had.  Paid with a home depot purchase.  Got a call from the plumber stating he would be here between 12 -2.  Didn't show and quit answering his phone.  Call the company and I was told they never give specific times and the plumber would call.  He finally called and said he told me 2 -4.  When I corrected him he went off the deep end.  At 3:30 called and said he would be here in 30 minutes.  By that time, I had cancelled with Home Depot and requested a refund.  Home Depot deserves better than what this company offers.

They were hired through Home Depot for our flooring project to disconnect and reconnect our toilets.  On the day to reconnect the 1st toilet and disconnect the other, C put the toilet back in and while his coworker disconnected our guest toilet.  After they were finished, C called me into the bathroom to inform me my toilet had been leaking for a long time.  There was evidence on the ground at disconnect as well as on the toilet that he cleaned up.  I was furious at that point and asked why he didn't tell me prior to reconnecting the toilet?!  He told me that it would be $300 to repair the gasket kit (2 bolts and a washer that connect the tank to the bowl....the parts are 7.99 for each toilet).  My other option was to get a new toilet and then paid an additional $139 to take that one back out, which still would leave us with no working toilets on the job site until they could get back out to install it. He said my other toilet that was disconnected has the same problem.  So unless I paid the $300 for install, then he was leaving me with no working toilets in my home!  I talked to his manager about the nearly $300 labor charge to install the 2 bolts and washer and she said he can charge whatever he wants.  It's for having a licensed plumber do the work and warranty it for a year.  Needless to say, we went without working toilets until my husband got home and repaired both in 2 hours for $16 saving us $584.  Upon review of our final orders on our flooring project, we found they tacked on an unauthorized charge of $100 to move 4 appliances which they did not!  Home Depot promptly refunded that as moving the toilets (if that is the appliances they were billing for) is part of the disconnect and reconnect fee.  And considering they upsold me for a 2 new flanges, the toilet has to be moved to put those in.

These guys SUCK SO MUCH THE ARE DRAWING WATER FROM THE GULF.  They charged us just shy of $1,000.00 to install 2 toilets with new flanges and shutoff valves.  This DOES NOT include the cost of the toilets.  I bought them separately.  This company is dishonest, immoral and unreliable.  I would not rehire them to pick up dog poop in my back yard.   These guys need to be investigated by the Texas Attorny General.  Trust me, don't walk away, run as hard and as far as you can from this company.
