Called Elite electric today and spoke to Chadwick and explained I really needed to get someone to come update light fixtures in a house I'm about to sell! I also had what I was worried might be some major issues with lights flickering and power surges, also 2 power strips had both gone out at the same time. Chadwick sent one of his senior journeyman over today, yes I couldn't believe it, same day service.

The tech quickly installed 2 new fixtures and replaced 2 ceiling fans. He then proceeded to start testing everything and quickly traced it to my main feed panel box, where he decided to call Chadwick, within 15 minutes Chadwick was onsite! to explain what they had found. The neutral wire was loose and there was black signs of arcing at both ends of the out feed. Chadwick could of told me a high cost and informed me he had to pull permits and would be back, instead, he advised I call austin energy and let's see if they will help and repair for free. (Explaining that you can't remove the meter without pulling a permit, he thought by me calling Austin Energy it might be a shot.... And it worked. Austin energy also gets my kudos, those guys came over within the hour and repaired my panel box!!!

Got the receipts to prove that Chadwick is not a professional nor reliable electrician. He sent an individual to come help us (whom was helpful) and refused to send the written invoice after we paid him. I needed the invoice for insurance purposes. He also gave me terrible advice that resulted in an electrical explosion, so there's that too.

Chadwick came out to look at an electrical issue for my mother. He told her what the prognosis was, said he'd return on that following Wednesday to fix it, and never showed up. When I returned to visit my mom (who is senior), a month later, and asked about the fix, she said He never showed up, and that was a month ago. I called Chadwick, and he said he was familiar with the property, said he was in France on vacation and wouldn't be able to come out until after first week in January (which was about two weeks), and he'd text me availability to see what he had on calendar. He didn't say when he'd text, I never received a text, No apology, and no acknowledgment of abandoning job prior. I would not recommend Elite, they have no integrity or respect for business, and severely lack customer service.

Chadwick showed up on time in very nasty weather to work on our doorbell. The last electricians that didn't fix it, (referred from the home warranty company), said the transformer was bad. Chadwick looked at it and we both looked all over for the transformer and could not find it. I don't think the last guys did either and neither did Chadwick. He showed me where the line was cut to the doorbell and how the copper was old and oxidized. He installed a new transformer using existing wiring and made it work. I was very happy to get that fixed and will hire him to set up the lights for the front of our house.

4/7/2014 Addendum: Due to my previous 5-star rating and good experience with Elite Electric I was going to have Chadwick put in some landscape lighting at our house. I made an appointment after the last visit (and the review above) and he didn't show up, didn't call. That was January. Then I rescheduled, took off work to meet him, time came, no electrician. I texted him and then called him and he called me back and said I was on the schedule, but he had forgotten. I asked if he could still make it out, and he said he would try. He called me two hours later at 5:00 to say no he couldn't after all. I was pretty unhappy and will be going with someone else for my lighting. He is a nice guy and knows what he is doing when he does come out, but the last two experiences are going to have me going somewhere else.

Couldn't be happier with the overall service provided by Elite Electric. Readily available when needed, prompt, efficient, proficient and affordable! We were quoted a price and that's what it ended up being, no hidden costs or overages. We were in a short option period to purchase a home and had to get an electrical estimate for some major issues that came up in our home inspection report. We were stood up by one electrician and I quickly had to get someone else there during our window period. I found Chadwick on Yelp and I have to say he came through for us and came within an hour to the property and certainly spent some time there to get us a proper estimate to present to the sellers. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and not to mention reliable. We will certainly use him to make all the fixes to our new home. Thank you Chadwick!!!!

We received a referral for Elite Electric last week. I called on Monday - left multiple messages during multiple parts of the day. Called back on Tuesday - left another voicemail. Called on Wednesday and stopped bothering since they apparently are too busy to extend a courtesy call back. It's now Thursday and I'm convinced I'll never get to gauge their products/service so this rating is based on my experience to date. Thanks. We could have really used some help this week.

The Electrician came right on time as promised. He charged a minimum for an hour normal and offered to fix anything els or inspect something cause the switch took only 20minutes to replace. Very nice and professional.

I wouldn't know if Elite Electric can give you a resonable quote or fix your busted wiring. Does it look like 9am to you? For those just joining here, it's 4:40 pm. Chadwick was supposed to be here between 9 and 10. It's always awesome when you tell your boss you'll be an hour or two late, only to waste and entire day waiting for someone who doesn't have the decency to tell you they won't make it.

To make matters worse, I did track him down at 12:30, while he was at lunch, and said he'd be out later. Which I took to mean, ya know, after lunch? And hey, I'm all about taking lunch. I frequently enjoy all the fabulous food Austin has to offer while escaping the drudgery that is my job. But maybe if you're flaking on your appointment, and you're somewhere that sounds like a bar, let it roll to voicemail. Bad customer service dude.

So now I guess I have to waste another day at home waiting for another inevitably flaky electrician. Score.

Nice enough guy when he came out to look at the job we're going to pay someone else $2-3k to do.

But he never sent me a quote.

So I called and asked him for it.

I called Chadwick for a problem I was having with my GFCI plugs. He was at my house within 20 minutes and knew exactly what the issue was and had it fixed in about half an hour. I will definitely call him next time I have an electrical issue.

As a somewhat recent homeowner I frequently find myself mentally shaking my fist at the previous owners. Did everyone in the family make dramatic hand gestures that resulted in them accidentally punching holes in the wall or were they really that bad and hanging fixtures that they had to do it seventeen times in the process to get it right?

My most recent mental fist shaking left me in need of a good electrician. I called Elite Electric on a Saturday expecting to schedule an appointment for later in the week when I would have to take off work and be given a 4-hour window in which the electrician *might* show up. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told that not only could they come out that day, but that they were finishing up a job not too far from me and they would be there in minutes.

Chadwick and his assistant were there in minutes, quickly assessed the situation and got to work. The job was done within an hour and they left the work area nice and neat too. Chadwick is very friendly and left me with complete confidence in the quality of his work. I can't guarantee that when you call they'll show up at your house in minutes but I can guarantee that the next time I'm in need of an electrician I'll be calling Elite Electric.

Half the electricity in my house went out so I knew the fix was beyond my abilities. I called Elite and Chadwick told me he'd make it out before the night was over. He kept me informed of his pending arrival with a couple calls. When he arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced a failed circuit breaker. He then fixed our doorbell that never worked by first finding and then replacing the transformer.

Chadwick was extremely polite and worked quickly. The fact that my two kids wanted to watch and question what he was doing didn't throw him off a bit. In the end, the cost was extremely reasonable. I'm very satisfied and intend to use Elite for my future electrical needs.

Elite indeed! I found Elite Electric here on Yelp and gave Chadwick (the owner) a call to schedule an appointment for the next day. He was friendly and professional and asked for my information and told me he'd give me a call the next day about 30 minutes before he was going to come over. What a concept - I don't have to sit in my house all day waiting for someone to shop up - he'll call me first and meet me there! Sure enough, he called me and said he was on his way. 30 minutes later, he was at my house.

Chadwick found the problem almost immediately (I hate to admit it, but I had spent 45 minutes trying to figure it out. I might as well have been scratching my butt instead... I'm just happy I didn't electrocute myself in the process...) The problem was resolved within 30 minutes and I even got a nice tutorial (upon request) about how GFCI outlets work! Chadwick even noticed another minor installation problem with one of my other outlets and corrected it for me on the spot.

Great guy, professional, reasonably priced. I'll definitely call Chadwick next time I need any electrical yelp, err help.

Chadwick just left my house, and I want to write this review before I go tackle installing the second ceiling fan!

I gave him a call after seeing all the great Yelp reviews and I'm so glad I did. He was able to come over in 45 minutes, which was amazing, and even asked if his lovely standard poodle Winter could come along (of course!).

Now our ceiling fan works, our light switch doesn't spark, we know we have a secret second electrical panel, and I feel confident to properly wire the rest of the fans. Awesome!

He's friendly, professional, thorough, fairly priced, and has an awesome dog. We'll definitely call him back when it's time to remodel our kitchen! As a bonus he said we could call any time we have questions as we do any of our own electrical work.

If I could give less than one star I would. My real estate agent referred me to Chadwick. I called several times with no response. When I finally did get a response Chadwick told me to email him the list of repairs. I did and heard nothing back for days. I called again and Chadwick said he found my email and would email me back a bid. Well that didn't happen. Chadwick is the WORST ever at follow through. There is ZERO follow through. Seriously Chadwick how long do you think I will chase you down to give you work?

Here are the reasons Elite Electric gets 5 stars in my book:

1. They return your calls
2. They show up AND at the time indicated.
3. They do the work expertly.
4. They charge a fair price.
5. They respect your home.

I can not tell you what a nightmare it has been to renovate my house. Of all of the contractors I have used, about 10% of them are worth their salt. Chadwick is the king among them. I called him on Thursday, and he was at my house on Saturday at the expected time with an assistant and the necessary equipment. He was so patient, too. I had to hang the world's most complicated chandelier, and he actually help it up for an hour while I worked on untangling the pieced and repairing the delicate parts that had broken.

He was extremely able, fair, and friendly. Since he grew up in our neighborhood, he caught me up on the days of yore, which was kind of fun to imagine. At the end of the visit, I just stared at the work, thanking my lucky stars that I found Elite Electric. I will be calling him back to do some recessed lighting really soon, I hope.

Finally, I don't feel like I'm being lied to by a home service professional! And he's on time!

Chadwick came out and did the walkthrough to talk to us about lengthening some wires so they would fit behind out new drywall in the kitchen as well as running a new electrical source for our new double oven. He made the appropriate suggestions and gave us a quote on the price. He may be a little more pricey than other electricians, but you pay for quality.

He sent his assistant to do the work and he did a great job, cleaned up after himself and when we had a question about something, he came right back out to make sure he had done a quality job.

I'll be calling them again soon to run another power line to our deep freeze in our garage.

We had a light switch that, when flipped, was sparking and even smoking a tiny bit! The burning smell was enough to scare me into finding an electrician pronto. It was a Friday afternoon and I was afraid I'd have to wait until the following week. Chadwick was very nice and offered to drop by later that afternoon. Once here, he had everything fixed within a few minutes.
I also needed a ceiling fan installed but he didn't have time to complete that job, however he offered to come out the following morning -- a Saturday -- to install it.
The real bonus is that Chadwick is a super nice and smart fellow whose best friend is his dog Winter -- a Standard Poodle who was also best man at his wedding! He will clear up any misconceptions you might have about the standard poodle. Ask him to tell you the Lab vs. Poodle hunting story!

I called Elite Electric in a pinch (electricity was flickering on and off intermittenly). Chadwick promptly answered his phone and referred me to his colleague, Andrew. Andrew called me back within 1 minutes to schedule the appointment to come by the house and examine the issue. Andrew was literally at my house within five minutes of hanging up the phone. He quickly assesed the issue, went and got the parts needed to fix the problem (blown breakers), and fixed the issue. This all happened in about an hour of my initial call to Elite Electric!

The one thing I was slightly shocked about was the $110 charged on the bill to come by the house (I also had to pay for parts and labor - those were reasonably priced). Make sure to ask how much the service call is going to be before the electrician comes by your house.

Elite Electric: good people, great work, fair price. After reading other Yelp reviews, I contacted Chadwick and immediately felt he was knowledgeable and professional.

We rescheduled our original appointment, and frankly, I didn't mind because the time change was mutually beneficial. After many years of dealing with various contractors - including punctual ones that did crappy work - I've learned to simply follow my gut.

My instincts were on target, and I'm glad I chose Elite Electric. On July 7, 2011, Chadwick and his two-man team not only did the work I originally scheduled, but also completed last-minute requests. They spent over seven hours in my home, replacing and adding new plugs, phone and data lines.

I highly recommend Elite Electric and, without a doubt, I'll use their services again.

As a property manager for a large company near campus, our electrician needs are many and varied. So when I had an A/C unit out and our A/C guy couldn't fix it, I literally called 3 companies before Elite...and received no calls back.

C'MON. I'm trying to GIVE YOU MONEY.

With that said, Elite was different. Chadwick called me right back. He was on property in 15 minutes and fixed the problem within an hour. Another electrician had quoted me a repair that would have cost 10x the amount.

Long story short, honesty and dependable service are age-old ideas...and you can count on Elite to provide them for you.

There are very few business cards that receive a permanent home in my wallet, Chadwick with Elite Electric is one of them.

Andrew showed up on time and provided me an honest and accurate assessment of the time (and cost) that would go into our project. We needed two pendant lights hung, one patio light replaced, and 4 carriage lights to be replaced as well (this required a little bit of chisel work on the sides of the house to make everything look right).

Normally, my wife and I are so detail oriented that we would just tackle these jobs on our own for fear that someone wouldn't do it to our level of satisfaction. I have no buyer's remorse in this situation. Not only was the work done on time, and on budget, but it was also done with the little aesthetic details in mind.

I was very pleased with the work done by Chadwick and his team, and I will be using them and referring them for years to come.

I've had it.. enough is enough. How many times does a person have to reach out to try and get a solid appointment that doesn't flake? We worked together in the past and i was very pleased with the results. So, for my upcoming remodel i decided to give Chad a call.. as the other reviews say, it directs you to text him.. which i promptly did. that was almost two weeks ago! I called back for the third time this morning, he said i should just text him and rushed me off the phone... so I text... AGAIN... annnnd gave a two month completion window!! Still Too busy to accept job or even offer a bid or advice on someone else who could help me. Costumer Service FAIL!!!!! Just as easy to hire someone who actually gives a damn about previous clients!

I used Elite Electric last week and had a great experience. I had already had our complex handyman come and take a look at the issues we were having with some dead outlets to no avail. I called Elite recently to have them go look at a minor issue at a rental property of mine. Chadwick stayed in contact with me and kept me updated while scheduling with my tenant and then had someone go out to the property. But then it went downhill. I asked my tenant if they had been out there and she said yes but they couldn't finish the job because they needed a part. So I called Chadwick and he said that yes, his guy had been out there and he would give me an update after he talked to his guy. Then he disappeared. That was over a week ago and I have called a couple of times. No response to voicemails and my job is still unfinished.

Chadwick came over to fix some kitchen plugs that mysteriously went out during the night. That created a bit of morning panic when the coffee maker wouldn't go on... Fortunately, this modern house has plugs all over the place so the coffee was served...

I called him earlier today to see when he could come out - about 45 mins. later, he was here and within an hour, the problem was fixed, his fee fair and we're delighted! This, what at first created that OMG feeling in my gut, turned out to be a good thing as we now have a reliable resource in the future.

This guy is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. When I explained the problem, he listened. I asked about some other issue we had and he checked 'em out and told us what we could do which didn't entail him trying to gain more business - that, was a pleasant surprise!

Honest, old school with a good work ethic and a pleasure to work with. Wish I would of found him before; will definitely use him again if the need arises. Recommend highly!

Wow! Seriously impressed. Today I had multiple z-wave smart dimmers and smart fan switches installed. Professional, intelligent, kind, knowledgeable about all things electrical (including Smart Homes) and honestly one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I'm speaking of Chadwick, the master electrician I wish I had met 9 years ago when I moved to Austin. I'd rather have him over for a drink or dinner, because he's an awesome guy, but he's an amazingly intelligent electrician (with a ton of other talents and hobbies - literally he knows a lot about a lot) and he doesn't treat you like the busy electrician that he is. Im injured right now and he helped me put in light bulbs and was kind enough to help me out while I was stuck in a recliner, calling me on my cell phone to make sure the smart switches worked. I'm really glad to have found a great electrician and friend. Thank you for your help Chadwick!

I called 7 - yes 7 electricians in less than 1 hour. The only time someone actually answered the telephone was when I called Elite. Chadwick answered the phone, was able to quote me over the phone and had an electrician at our home in the AM of the next business day. It doesn't get any better than that!! Well actually it did. When the other electricians actually got back to me ALL of their quotes were for more money. We received a courtesy call when they were on their way as well. Came out to quote a job. Advised that he would send the quote in a couple of days. a week passed, I called and somehow got him on the phone, he said he'd have the quote sent by the end of the week. Another week passed. The last time I tried the number I got the dreaded Voicemail for this phone number is full. Lovely.

Apparently this guy is too busy to follow through on commitments.

I can't speak to the quality of his work but his communication and professionalism leave a lot to be desired. Based on my experience I can only advise you look someone else.

Called on a Tuesday to get an estimate on some work on our patio and master bedroom. Chadwick called back right away, but said that he wasn't able to come out until Saturday morning. He showed up a half hour late, said that he was late for another appointment so need to hurry back out. After spending less than 10 minutes looking at the three areas we wanted work done, he said he would call or email with a quote. Never heard anything back. He was a nice guy, but am really surprised by all of the good reviews. Ended up having to have another company come out and do all of the work. Disappointing...

Chadwick wired for and installed 3 ceiling fans at our new home. He did a great job. I was especially pleased with how he worked a little longer integrating the switches into the already existing switch boxes despite the technical challenges associated with that. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars was the cost, but I'm not sure if that's specific to Chadwick or just that electricians cost more than I imagined.

I'm glad I thought to check yelp for electrician reviews, because then I called Chadwick and all was well. I had gotten two other estimates. One was very high and the other was similar to Chadwick's, but the guy gave me a look like he'd rather spit on me than run a wire through my attic. So I went with Chadwick who went above and beyond in several ways. He stuck to his original estimate even though he ended up spending more time than he had thought, so he knocked off some labor cost. Also, we were working on something that involved drilling holes in concrete and our hammer drill was on the fritz and he loaned us a tool that saved us an incredible amount of time and headache. And he didn't even try to show us how to use it (as some men would have) or give patronizing advice. All in all, I couldn't have been more pleased and I recommend him highly.

They are OK at best. For 4 rooms that was already pre-wire for 2 switch. The tech replaced a one switch box with a two switch box for 3 rooms. He installed 3 new ceiling fans. They moved 2 existing ceiling fan to the other rooms per my request. The tech was nice and was respectable. But a job that should have taken about 4 to 5 hours, I was charged for 7.5 hours. Thank goodness, that they did not have to rewire to a 2 switch. If so, It would have been very expensive. You think even though it's an estimate when you call, they did not disclosed that they charge by the hour. They don't tell you that they charge by the hour until it's ready to pay (got cha).

Don't waste your time with other electricians.

Chadwick might not be the cheapest electrician in Austin, but do you really want cheap shithouse electrician work? I'd rather not have my house burn down.

I'm pretty sure over the course of the work he did for me I called him on weekends and evenings and he was always available to answer my questions. The customer service he provided was light-years ahead of any of the other contractors I worked with.

I have nothing but good things to say about him. He was honest and open about my options and exceeded my expectations of the finished work. He upgraded some of the infrastructure of the house I never asked him to, and it didn't cost me anything over the initial quote. I'm tempted to sabotage the electrical systems of my friends and neighbors just to give him more work.

I can recommend Chadwick wholeheartedly. Recently I lost the pwer in 2 rooms of my home. After tripping the circuit on my circuit box, I thought it would be fixed. Of course, it wasn't. Also wouldn't you know that I had family coming for a visit. I called Chadwick. He was wonderful. On technically his day off he stayed on the phone with me trying to troubleshoot the issue. When we couldn't get it fixed, Chadwich graciously said he could stop by on his way out of town on vacation.....when was the last time you heard that from anyone offering professional services.!

Not only did Chadwich come over, he found out that I have 2 circuite boxes. He quickly tripped the circuite back and all was well.

Here's the most amazing thing....he would not accept payment.

Chadwick is my electrician from now on! Make him yours too....you won't regret it.

Excellent service at affordable price. I had some minor electrical issues (3 way switch not working, install a digital light timer, install new exterior light fixtures, etc). I selected Elite Electric from the Yelp reviews and I am glad I did. Chadwick was quick to return my phone call. He arrived promptly, was very professional and completed the work quickly. I saw the good reviews of Elite Electric on Yelp and I had the same outstanding experience with this company. The work was excellent at a reasonable price and was done in a very timely manner. During the course of the work, Chadwick (the owner) found that one of our front light fixtures had shorted out. He returned the very next day (a Saturday) to install the new fixtures once we had a chance to purchase them. I was completely confident that everything he did was done at the very highest level of quality. I would recommend this company to anyone and will call them if I ever need electrical work again.

Elite Electric came recommended by my favorite rebuilding contractor, but I didn't realize how could they could be. Prompt responses to phone messages, good email access while negotiating. And a reasonable proposal: time and materials at a rate that was not exorbitant.
And the best part is that the quality of their work is extraordinary: full recommendations on how to meet code, suggestions for better equipment, and then an aesthetic touch to the work that was exceptional. Didn't think an electrician can be aesthetic? It's what separates the cheap and clueless from the best of the lot.

Elite Electric is a business that knows how to take care of their customers. I phoned Chadwick one evening in midweek, when actually, I expected to speak to his answering machine . He told me his prices over the phone, and gave me a time that he would show up. His apprentice showed up at that exact time and solved the problem within the hour. Chadwick obviously has a good team working with him, and even though I never did meet him, I could see the quality workmanship within his apprentice. I would recommend Elite Electric to anyone who is hesitant about outside help.

Chadwick and his assistant did great work on an outdoor RV project. He is open to questions thru the entire process and works with you ensure you are happy when he's done. He even calls back a few days alter to make sure you are still happy! Great service from a professional.

The power in our kitchen went out on Saturday morning. After calling a few electricians, I realized that most of them are closed on Saturdays. Fortunately I stumbled upon Elite Electric. I spoke with Chadwick, and he tried to troubleshoot over the phone. After several minutes it was obvious that the problem was beyond my capabilities. No problem, Chadwick said he be would by in an hour or two.

Chadwick came 2 1/2 hours later (I was thrilled that someone was able to come on short notice on a Saturday, so I didn't mind the extra 30 minute wait). He was very friendly and professional. Within an hour he had our power restored with minimal cost. I would definitely use him again.

Overall: Great service on a Saturday afternoon!

Chadwick was very responsive to my call. He worked within my schedule and came out after 6pm and stayed to around 9pm. I do not have a lot of experience with contractors but working these hours seem to be quite rare. He worked quickly and did what I asked. I was disappointed that I did not have all the required material so he couldn't do everything that I wanted but this was not his fault.

Overall, a very pleasant experience. He is very highly recommended.

ALWAYS MY FIRST AND LAST CALL!! I run a large dental practice and we have our fair share of options on who to call when work needs to be done or something needs repair. Our building and therefore our electrical system and wiring is antiquated. I've had to make numerous calls for quick 'keep my business operational' service requests to Chadwick over the past few years, and every time his service is prompt and honest with attention paid to detail and quality! I would highly recommend Chadwick and Elite Electric to all of my friends and family! - as a sidenote - I read another review that said they were possibly no longer in business - ABSOLUTELY FALSE because they helped me out of yet another electrical issue just last Thursday!

Before I contacted Chadwick, I left two messages with another electrician, who never called me back. Chadwick actually answered the phone when I called! Then he was able to schedule me promptly and took care of my faulty switches in less than an hour. To top it off he was very friendly, helpful and reasonable for his services. I have used Chadwick in the past so elite electric was my 1st choice. After the last post I was worried that elite closed their doors but i am happy to say they are very much in business. I needed 3 fans and 4 ceiling lights installed and they came when they said and were courteous as usual. The lighting went up without a hitch but there were issues with 2 of the fans which we did not realize until after they were assembled and mounted. Since this means that he will have to disassemble the fans and install the new ones when they arrive, Chadwick said he would work with me on the price even though it wasn't his fault that the fans were shipped with issues. Will use again.

I called these guys and a few others on Thursday and didn't get anyone so I left a message. I didn't get a call back but when I called on Friday morning I got Chadwick on the phone. To my surprise he sent one of his guys over less than two hours later. The electrician that came to my place was a nice enough guy and I think he did a good job. I had done everything but actually hook up the connections on my hot tub and wanted a pro to be sure it was right. He told me I had wired the disconnect box alright but he redid it in a better way. The only negative was he didn't really pick up his scraps of wire and stuff in my back yard, but I'll give him a pass on that because it was in the low 40's and raining (he had to have been totally soaked by the end and I'm sure he was freezing). I felt like I got a fair service for the $127 I paid.

Chadwick was hired by our landlord to fix up some old school electrical nightmares on the outside of the house.

The guy was spot on, extremely courteous, and called before hand multiple times to discuss what he was going to do, and when he would do it. He wanted to make sure we were in good hands while the COA had to turn our electricity off for the day.

He was solid, and did a great job. He has now picked up a new client the next time we need electrical work.

I recently ordered 2 new ceiling fans to replace some older/malfunctioning fans in my condo. When they arrived, Chadwick was more than willing to add me to his schedule for the Wednesday before Christmas (12/21/11). I greatly appreciated the fact that he took the time to call to confirm I would still be available before he drove out to my home. The timing of his arrival was perfect as I had just arrived at home from work around 20 minutes earlier.

Chadwick did an outstanding job of handling the minor complications that came up with mounting 52 ceiling fans in my late-60s condo. His attention to detail was impressive as he pointed out and fixed several issues related to the wiring and the mounts that others may have missed. It was very nice getting to chat about various aspects of the installation as it progressed.

Thanks to Chadwick/Elite Electric, I can now sleep well at night with no more grinding ceiling fan sounds.

In short, if you need electrical work done and you want excellent quality work and a very fair price, I would very strongly recommend contacting Chadwick/Elite Electric.

I needed to have electric service rebuilt after wind damage. When I looked on Yelp for a contractor I called 3 and Chadwick was my only contact. He came out quickly and gave me a bid . The work was started and completed in one morning. I will be recommending Elite to my friends and calling again if I need electrical work. Woke up today to a stove that wasn't working. I eventually figured out that it was an electrical problem, so I called Elite. My call was returned almost immediately, and the best part was that the guy I talked to asked intelligent questions and quickly diagnosed the problem over the phone. As it turned out, it was a simple fix, but talk about integrity! Based on my experience today, I will be calling Elite Electric in the near future for a bunch of other projects in the house.

Elite to the rescue! I had been let down by another company. I had taken a half day off work on a Friday to meet with the other company to install a 220 outlet in my garage. The other company never showed. I then set about to call several companies, including Elite. Chadwick took an immediate interest in what I wanted done, and asked all the appropriate questions to determine that what I was doing was the right thing to do. It was at the very end of the day on Friday and he could not come out same day (which I did not think was likely anyway), but said that he could come out on the very next week day, which was a holiday and also his birthday. He was very professional and efficient and actually seemed to enjoy me watching his work. He took time to answer any questions that I had. In the end, he got the work done perfectly and promptly, at a price that was much lower than the original company that had let me down.

I highly recommend Chadwick and Elite Electric. A+

Andrew came right on time (or a little early) made an assessment of the various issues I had with my 1951 bungalow, sent me to the hardware store for the new fixtures (and LED bulbs...) that I needed, can back at 5:00 as promised and fixed all the issues. I was personally floored at the great rate they charge and am more than pleased with the people and the service. I will be calling them soon to change out a couple more light fixtures and add a ceiling fan. Big LIKE for these guys and I highly recommend them! I am now no longer afraid to call the electrician!

I had a GFCI that kept tripping and called Chadwick find out why. He came by and figured out the cause of the problem within about 10 minutes. (I had been trying for weeks.) I then solicited him for advice on a sun lamp that I was unsure about how to hook up, and he gladly and thoughtfully took the time to check it out for me. Best of all, he charged me half price for the call as he was here for such a short length of time. Nice guy, honest, and a straight-shooter. Highly recommended.

There did not seem to be any power to the dishwasher. I spent about 3 hours disconnecting the water supply, the drain, verifying using a multimeter that there was in fact no power coming to the unit. Finally I decided that I needed to call an electrician. So I called Elite Electric on Sunday at noon, expecting to leave my contact on the answering machine. But Chadwick picked up and asked me a simple question - Is the switch above the counter on? I had completely forgotten that there is this switch that controlled the dishwasher and I might have inadvertently turned it off. Of course, this is really embarrassing! And Chadwick did not have to even come out to fix my problem. But that is the point! Another electrician could have made a fast buck, charged the standard fee to come out, and just turned on the switch. But Chadwick was a true pro and helped me fix my problem on the weekend at no charge. Granted I was being pretty stupid here. But regardless, I really appreciate Chadwick's professionalism, help, and consideration. And he did not make me feel stupid! I did that for myself :-)

I called Chadwick and needed same day service on a couple of non-working outlets in the bathroom. He gave me a couple of helpful hints to check the right GFI protectors (in the garage not the bathroom, hmmm) but when that did not work, he sent an associate out. We had a pretty simple job that got a little more complicated due to our vaulted ceilings. Andrew was here most of the day and did a great job. Everything was as asked and the price was right. Chadwick stopped by to check on things and to talk about some of my upcoming projects. I had been told by a another electrician that we would need our panel rebuilt due to adding more circuits (quite pricey and into the thousands). Chadwick took a look at our panel and determined that even with our several pending upgrades, our panel would not need to be rebuilt, just expanded/altered (saving us lots of hard earned cash!). I sure like the sound of that! He also gave me some good ideas for our upcoming kitchen renovation. I will be calling Elite Electric when we move on to our other renovation projects.

Chadwick was over to my house within a few hours of my initial call on a Saturday afternoon. We were creating a half wall and discovered some wires behind the sheet rock that needed to be rerouted. Chadwick was very professional, courteous and completed the job very quickly. His rates were reasonable as well. Chadwick called back right away. I'll give him points for that. He told me that he would call before he came out, that didn't happen. Easily forgiven since I happened to be home. I had a hidden plug with a GFI attached... it needed to be reset and then I was back in business. This took all of about 10 minutes. 90 bucks! yes, 90 bucks. And I was given a 20 dollar discount. I understand you need to pay for time and travel, but, let's get serious. Big picture, if I need work done (which I do), that is money that won't go to you based on this experience. That's an absurd amount of money to spend to reset a GFI and it took no time. Chadwick, think big picture-- Austin is small.

I called Elite this morning and Chadwick was here by lunchtime. He was thorough, professional and very helpful, explaining the basics of electrical circuits to me so that I could push the GFI button in the garage by myself, next time. Since I'm afraid to fry myself just by opening the simplest ceiling lights, it was well worth the cost of a service call to have him fix a few things.

I went to yelp to check out finding an electrician and read about Chadwick. I got an answer on the first ring. He came to my location even though it was far to do minor work. I had this really crowded closet that had a tiny panel to get into my attic and I said, you can say no, or another time but someday I need something checked out in my attic that the home inspector had said could be a possible fire hazard and the owners never fixed it. He said no problem and crawled up there. He also fixed my ceiling fan and I thought his price was awesome. He really is a great guy. I doubt he can always answer on the first ring but overall, all these good reviews in my opinion are well warranted. AWESOME work!!!

I called Chadwick yesterday afternoon, and he was able to come out this morning to install our 220 outlet. The price was reasonable (I obtained a quote from another company that was about double) and the quality of work looks very high to me. Chadwick is a master electrician and clearly knows his trade inside and out. But he's also friendly and willing to answer all sorts of questions. I hope I don't need to call an electrician again for a while, but if I do, I'll definitely call Chadwick first.

We needed a bathroom heater replaced asap. We called and heard back from Chadwick in a reasonable amount of time. He sent one of his electricians-we apologize because we can't remember his name-but he was professional, and did a great job figuring out how to install this heater-which was more of a job than was originally thought. He also provided us with extra imformation concerning the placement of vents and future issues that might come up.The price was fair and we will be calling Elite Electric again. Thank you! Elite provide good service on repairing the breaker box in my garage. Andrew was on time and very knowledgeable. He left me with everything working while he ran to get the right part for the repair.
