Gary came and took care of our leaking toilet, door threshold, ceiling fans, and door handles.  Was in and out in a couple hours and did an awesome job.

Mike has come out now a couple of times to fix my garbage disposal and my leaking washing machine valves. He is always friendly, personable and gets the job done! And he doesn't try to over charge me for his work. I would recommend Mike for others and I know I will definitely call on him for future home maintenance needs!

Had a really good experience with Gus. I lost my handyman who moved out of state and I found Gus to replace him. He showed up on time and took care of my little project just fine. Def recommend and I'll be using him again for sure.

He arrived a few minutes before his appointment time. Being on time, for me, tells a lot about a person!

He completed all my requested items, and did an excellent job! He replaced a backyard water faucet, and security light. He also removed the cracked and broken caulking in my tub, and re-caulked it.

While he was replacing my security light, he noticed something not on my list, and told me that he could easily fix it. It was the latch on my RV gate that was really hard to open. It had been getting progressively worse, and now it works better than it did when I bought my home 1.5 years ago!

I found Dan to be professional, respectful, and very affordable. I will definitely use him from now on!

I have been a customer of Fx It Floyd for many years. Recently I bought a ceiling fan and I was quoted $195 to install it.  When they arrived we found that the fan was damaged so I arranged for a new fan to be delivered
I paid the full amount $195 for a 15 minute visit with the agreement that FIF would come back when the fan arrived. They agreed to do so and cashed my check for the original visit.  
We set a new date and FIF was here for 30 minutes and installed the ceiling fan.
About an hour later I received an email for $130 so now the total to install ONE fan was $332! The problem is FIF hit me with a surprise invoice and NEVER bothered to quote or inform me that there would be another fee.
It is their responsibility to quote a fee PRIOR to the service provided.
I paid $195 in advance and before completing the job.  Never were additional fees discussed or quoted !
I've dealt with many contractors over the years and they all provide estimates or quotes IN ADVANCE!!!
Get your quotes in writing and BEFORE work is completed

I want to share a big THANK YOU to Jeff for fixing my sliding door! Since I moved in a few months ago, it continued to get worse to the point it wouldn't lock or even close all the way. He was very responsive, came out ASAP, and finished very timely. I have plenty of other house projects on my list for 2022 and will definitely be calling Jeff to help.

Chance was fantastic! He installed a large sail shade cloth over our driveway for us. Our previous two were too small and kept sagging. We had a ceiling fan that we had attempted to install and it was 95% complete but we just couldn't figure out the last step.

His experience suggested a few options and in the end we ended up saving money because he recommended a Westinghouse support bracket instead of a canned light converter kit.

Terry and his team are the best! We needed some help with a cabin we bought and Terry was definitely the right person to call. I needed a chandelier taken down and a much bigger, heavier one put in its place.  Joe was on time and always very polite and accommodating.  He worked fast too and before I knew it the job was done.  I will definitely be calling them to come back for my next job.
