These guys are the best! Gave me an estimate of time needed to finish several small jobs and install a sink and stuck to that estimate even though complications came up and more time was needed. Excellent work done by Chris and Chris - Jeremy and his wife Pallavi were a pleasure to do business with..could not be happier that I called them and look forward to working with them again soon. So far, Joel has done both my bathrooms and they are amazing! He and his team are always on time and the jobs were done quickly! Next up is my kitchen and I can't wait to see the end result. Joel even went with me to look at tile, etc, as I had no idea what I was doing. I highly recommend them!

We recently had JAG Home Services install a wide dog gate in our home. We were very impressed with the professionalism and service provided by Jaime. He was prompt even texting to say he was on his way. He did an excellent job of installing the gate and was very thorough cleaning up when he was finished.

Dale is all you need!! I went through a few handymen before I found Dale and I wish I had found him sooner. There is a difference between someone who tries to complete a task and calls themself a handyman and someone who actually has experience and knows what they are doing- that is Dale! I had dale hang over 8 pieces of art/Mirrors. He hung drapery hardware throughout my entire house, hung chandeliers and put together my desk and fixed other contractors improper work, and does it all in a professional and timely manner. He's very nice as well as extremely experienced. I've been so used to having to help other handymen complete tasks and it was so nice to be able to explain to Dale what I wanted and trust that he can complete it without needing me to help. He's trustworthy and has a great professional company. Dale is all that you need!!

We've used Affordable Home Improvements twice for a patio & garage light installation and then for flooring to be replaced from termite damage.  Both times communication & service were excellent with extremely reasonable pricing.

Will continue to use them in the future for all our home improvements!

There are a lot of choices out there when hiring a handyman. Do yourself a favor and make the right one. Hire and trust in Russ! 5 stars for sure!

I was overwhelmed with lingering projects and decided to hire a handyman to complete them and free up my time. Finding Russ was a blessing. Communication with him is easy and he always responds timely. His attention to detail is remarkable. A job done by Russ is always done with exacting precision. He's friendly, personable, and proven himself trustworthy. He can have full access to my home without any reservations. No matter the job, small or large, simple or complex, you can be sure it will get done right if Russ does it. Russ is now my 'go to guy' for any repairs or home improvement projects.

I had Travis come to give an estimate for replacing drywall, then we agreed on a time for him to come fix it. We made these arrangements over e-mail, so there should have been no confusion about it. On the day he was supposed to show up I wanted until 20 minutes after his scheduled arrival time and then called him. He said I was not on the schedule. I said I had e-mails to back it up. He said he would check his e-mail and call me back.

While I was waiting, I forwarded the relevant e-mails to him. He did not call me back. Probably he was too cowardly to own up to his mistake face to face, or even over the phone. Instead, I got an e-mail (this is the beginning of June by the way) saying that he had double-booked the day and we will need to rebook towards the end of august [sic].

I responded that I had already made arrangements to be home on the scheduled day, and had already moved everything out of the room he was supposed to work on. He did not respond. I asked him if he had a response, and again he did not respond.

He was probably hoping this would all just go away. Instead, it is all going on yelp.

Edit: he later called to apologize, but would not do anything to meet the appointment the same day or anytime soon.

House painted June, 2020.  Fantastic job!  Crew arrived on-time, very polite, and worked hard from start to finish.  They raked/trenched the rocks away from my house foundation so they could paint below the groundline and then they replaced when finished.  I have three different type of rock and I noticed they were being extremely careful to NOT mixed the rocks... which pleased me immensely!  I only found one little spot which needed to be touched-up... but the crew noticed and fixed before I could point it out... so again thumbs up.  My house looks great and I'm very happy!

I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with our cabinet re-finishing by Ray of Light!  The whole process was smooth, work was started and completed as promised.  The entire staff were helpful and courteous!  I feel like I have been given a new kitchen!  Thank you Ray and your whole team!

I interviewed and received bids from 4 different contractors before choosing Matt's Premier Painting & Renovations to repaint the exterior of my home.  Each of them had good credentials and brought some good things to the table.  What I appreciated about Matt was that he can do it all.  His license covers not only painting but renovations as well, so he has the capability and expertise to do what it takes to handle things that might otherwise keep a painter from doing their best work.
He was friendly and enthusiastic and quick to provide his proposal.  He gave me several options of paint grade as well as options for repairs that were needed.  We discussed pros and cons of each and he had no problem talking about them in depth, though I know he had a lot of things to do and I was taking a lot of his time.  We had a problem where the rain was splattering dirt up on the house and he helped me select a paint and sheen that could easily be cleaned.  He gave me a good price and took care of things that he didn't have to do, such as smoothing out a repair that I had made in the stucco.  His crew leader, Victor, cleaned up the caulk lines from the recently replaced garage doors and made them look like they were originally.
Matt put me on the schedule quickly and crews arrived promptly when they were scheduled.  Everyone knew what they were supposed to do and there was nobody standing around.  It's a large two-story home, but they got it done within three days.  There were weather issues and a few areas needed to be touched up, but Matt and his crew were very quick to come back and take care of them.  The house looks great and we have gotten lots of compliments on the new finish.
