5 Star Landscaping, Irrigation and Artificial Grass Maintenance

Cristo and his crew have been out here a few times so far this year to help us with our landscaping, irrigation system and artificial grass maintenance and we can't recommend them enough.  They are quick but thorough, clean and courteous. They always remove any debris and they never forget to skim the pool for us each time they finish up landscaping.

We think Green Valley Tree is reasonably priced and they are on time; if not he will call or text you and let you know if he is running late and will keep you updated on their expected arrival time. They pull up ready to work and get right to business.

They have trimmed our palms, bougainvillea, desert grass, century agaves and jacaranda for us and also planted a new baby pineapple palm tree. They made our old pineapple palm tree look like a giant pineapple again! We had a problem with the dirt under our artificial grass sinking in patches; they came out and lifted the turf, repacked the dirt and laid the turf back down - it looks brand new again. Our irrigation system was a mess and Cristo and team came out and redid the entire thing for us.

We have been so impressed with his work and work ethic. Next time you need a tree specialist or landscaping done, give Cristo a call.

we had agreed to come to my home to discuss my needs with my landscaping. He kept me waiting and never showed up. He had my phone number and there was no excuse for not calling and notifying me as to why he was unable to show up. Very unprofessional The peoples five star rating evidently was when he showed up. I very much doubt the five stars..

I had been working on my yard for some length of time on my own.  I finally got tired of that and these guys came to the rescue.  They worked fast and they worked very professionally.  EVERYTHING is exactly how I wanted it.  They followed the requested plan to the letter and let me know every step of the way what they were doing and answered each of my questions.  They even went above and beyond answering questions and making suggestion on work that I had already done or am planning to do on my own.  Going as far as to offer to answer any question I had about those plans in the future should I find a need for further information.  If you are looking for a friendly and professional team then these are the people you need to get to work for you.  They are very, very busy but worth the wait in line.

I highly recommend this landcaping company very fast, helpful and great service and prices.

Juan is responsive and did a good job on my yard without any direction from me in person.  We only exchanged photos and texts.  He completed work on time for a fair price in this market.

RIPPED OFF!
They did not finish the job they were payed to do. I was told they would come back at a later date to finish and they never returned....he even seemed irritated when I was texting and calling him. I have all the text messages to prove this guy is a liar and ripped me off. The partial irrigation system they installed started to leak after a few months. DO NOT pay this man until the job is 100% complete....or, just save your time and go with a better and more honest landscaper.

We had a great experience with Jason and his crew..! Our backyard cut is one of a kind in our community and he did a great job from the initial visit, design, quote, materials, etc. His quote were all reasonable and even go above and beyond with everything. He even throw in lots discount and freebies to make sure we stayed within our budget with a little flexibility. The gravel/rocks itself were close to 150 tons but he did a great job of making sure we spent our money of its worth. The switch to put travertine instead of a regular paver were spot on and all worth it! The firepit is FIRE...! The turf was crazy beautiful and the sand pit for the kids was to dive into! The most important part of the experience is that we became friends along the process. He will treat and take care your property as if he owns it.

I highly recommend him and his company! I'll not think twice getting him again in our next backyard project pretty soon.

Greenheart did our front lawn in central Phoenix.  Overall it was a very positive experience, we love our yard and many of the best features were ideas direct from Mike.  We bid this out to several contractors over the course of 3 months, and only Mike came up with novel ideas that gave our yard real personality.  We've had a number of neighbors and passersby comment on how nice the yard looks.  Some pros and cons of the experience listed below.

Pros:
- Price was fair.  The quote was broken down in detail, which allowed us to easily evaluate the Greenheart cost vs others.  While their price wasn't the lowest, that was mainly due to our desire to include a paver walkway, some treewells, etc that other bidders hadn't included as options (all Mike's ideas).  
- They weren't pushy about adding anything, the choice was left to us for what we wanted to include/exclude.  Low pressure.
- Mike was very attentive during the design process.  He went and looked at plants with us and had a real passion for the work.
- They provided us with an initial sketch with the bid and a more detailed drawing at the beginning of the project.  This helped with alignment on what the yard was going to look like and what was expected.
- The crew was very respectful and clean when doing the work.

Cons:
- Communication wasn't very strong once the project got started.  There were a number of occasions where I felt like I was relaying info between Irene, Mike, the foreman, and back again.  I felt like I had to be present to make sure the yard was done according to what we wanted/expected.
- The project closeout was poor.  While the main body of work was done quickly, there were a handful of unresolved items that I had to email and text about for a few weeks before they came back to fix them.
- The treatment for the areas that went from grass to rock have a lot of grass coming back up.  This was a concern I expressed at the onset of the project, but I am still spraying Roundup frequently.  I expected to have to continuously treat the rock areas to prevent the growth of grass, but not so soon after the work was completed (grass started popping up in areas about a week after the job and continues to appear).

Phillips Landscaping contacted me today and said they could come by at 5:30 today. Philip came by on time as scheduled and texted me while he was on the way to my home. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I have an appointment for Monday for him to come and make the adjustments with my landscaping that I need.

Median's did an outstanding job on our backyard project. Not only are they kind and compassionate to work with, but they went above and beyond to get the job done within one day, which was not an easy task! They are professional, respectful, honest and I can't wait to have them back again for future projects and maintenance. Thank you Medina Landscaping...you guys made our year!!!

Sam came over and gave us a quote at a very good price right away and was back 2 days later and did an awesome job. Tree looks phenomenal and the cleanup was so great you would have never known they were here. The last arborist we hired to trim this tree last year left a huge mess, and the tree didn't look half as good. Thank you guys so much for being prompt, affordable and doing an overall great job!

DAMIEN HEWETT Please stop saying I am leaving a review for the wrong contractor. I have attached the Estimate you gave me for my patio. It clearly shows one of your company names, your address and your signature.

I only asked you to refund my deposit for landscaping that you did not end up doing for me. You said you would give me a refund and have the patio's large bird bath repaired if I would then take down my review.

No check has come, and you are still saying I have posted to the wrong contractor. YOU ARE THE CONTRACTOR THAT IS NOT REFUNDING MY DEPOSIT AS YOU SAID YOU WOULD. That is not liable, that is a fact.

Just refund me the $1000.00 deposit you said you would and fix my patio.
Then I will remove any reviews I have posted.

Gave a VERY competitive quote and agreed to come back at 9 a.m. on Saturday to prune the palm trees. He never showed up.
