Best Cracked/Broken Concrete Repair in Phoenix AZ

Ruben and his crew were professional and friendly. They removed a half-wall in the yard and replaced/rebuilt our bricked front gate. We are very pleased with their work and will be calling them to install a shed pad and refresh the cement/pavers in our courtyard.

I requested a price quote/proposal to pour concrete on both sides of  my house. They called me the following day and told me that it was very difficult for them to respond during the day as they are busy. They came over two days later and took some measurements. They told me that they were going to throw in a few free items that needed to be replaced or added. They told me that they have been in business for 40 years and that it is a family owned business. It was a father and his son...only two employees in the whole company. They told me that since it was only them and they were very busy, that it would take a few days for them to get me a quote. Two weeks later, I reached out to them and asked if they could send me the quote. They replied with an apology and stated that they got swamped and they were trying to catch up. They said they would send it the following day. Three days later I reached out to them again and asked that they send it to my by the following day or I will assume they are too busy and don't want the job. Mike, the father called and left me a message that he was going out to dinner and would call me the following day. He called me the next day....he still didn't provide the quote. Travis, his son called later in the day and provided a quote that was $2000 over what other contractors had quoted. He stated that they are playing catch up every day as they are the only ones that have to do the physical work then go to the office and do all of the paperwork! I called him back and he was extremely rude and irritated. He state that the price was only for half of the area that I had asked to be done. He stated that I didn't want the other half done. I mentioned that his price was extremely high and didn't include the whole area. With his voice raised he told me yeah well good luck!
I would never recommend this company to anyone and will continue to tell everyone of the horrible way I was treated by Travis. Mike was nice but this company needs to hang it up as they obviously cannot run this company anymore and take it out on potential customers!

Contacted Gaje Contracting, LLC for concerns in my foundation and stem wall. First impressions, Jill (receptionist) was prompt and professional when calling me from my online inquiry. The day of the inspection, Cody (the inspector) called with a 30 min arrival notice which was much appreciated. He was clean, professionally dressed, and kind. During his inspection, he was patient, warm, and extremely informational. He demonstrated how and where the foundation was cracking in a 3D visual model on his ipad and educated me on what to look out for as the crack isn't to the point of repair just yet.  While he was here, he graciously offered to tour the outside of the home to inspect my stem wall. I felt 100% at ease and confident in his skills, capabilities, and knowledge. Very impressive experience from start to finish.  Without hesitation would I recommend Gaje Contracting, LLC but I will be returning at the time the crack needs repair. I cannot say enough good things about Rick and Charlie from Arizona Foundation Works.   They are both funny, honest and decent people, who are very skilled at what they do.  They take a lot of pride in their work.  Mine was not an easy repair - the crawlspace beneath my house ranged from about two and a half feet at the southeast corner, to zero at the northwest corner.  It involved a lot of creative problem solving to figure out a solution.  Rick is an excellent communicator.  He listened to me to be sure he understood what I thought was needed, and then explained exactly what needed to be done to achieve those results.  The cost was definitely reasonable.  There is a small travel charge to come out and estimate projects outside of the Phoenix area, but it is deducted from the total charge if you go with Arizona Foundation Works to complete the job (and I cannot imagine why you would not).  I am so grateful to them, and I recommend them highly.

Completely dependable, willing to re-evaluate their initial resolution to correct a building poorly constructed (by a different company), A-1 Concrete created the needed remedy.    My job was relatively small, but still they chose to address my problem thoughtfully with attention to the aesthetic side to the repair as well.
