Best Kitchen Demolition in Phoenix AZ

My girlfriend and I used VETSBuilt to renovate our house after refinancing our house. We were so excited for the house to have a makeover and truly be turned into a home for our family. My girlfriend is a retired combat medic for the army so we were even more excited to use a veteran run company. I would like to warn those of you looking to use this company against it. Our house is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but there were so many mistakes, short cuts, and then there is the fact that there is no warranty on the work.                              -Before beginning the renovation I has asked Bob if I should patch the holes in the house and remove all of the nails/tacks/staples/etc. He had told me not to worry and that the painters would take care of it. The painters failed to remove those items and I know have the pleasure of continuing to remove them and repaint where they were. The holes were patched in a rushed manner. When the sun hits the patches just right, you can see where the left over spackle was smeared over the walls and the hole. Then there is the clean up for the painters. They left paint over numerous light fixtures, baseboards, the new floor, and the ceiling.                     -We originally wanted to get cabinets from Home Depot and had picked out the design and received a quote. Bob told us that his "cabinet guy" was "the best." This was not true. The cabinet guy, his name is Jaime, was far from the best. After having sat down with both Bob and Jaime to design the cabinets, as Bob told us the ones we wanted from Home Depot were no good, the cabinets were designed ENTIRELY wrong. The design was similar to the old cabinetry that we were tossing. We informed Bob, who had told us he remembered the design we chose and agreed the ones built were not what we were paying for. The cabinets were never replaced and we received $500 off for something we didn't want. There were further issues with the cabinets when Bob failed to communicate with his guy that we were no longer able to afford a new vanity for our master bathroom. We had told him we didn't want the vanity but Bob had arranged a deal with Jaime that we could keep this vanity for free...another way to make up for the entire kitchen being done wrong. The vanity was also designed wrong, the drawers require so much force to be opened that most of the time you end up whacking yourself in the leg or crotch. I told Bob this too, and despite him also having difficulties opening the drawers and him watching me attempt to open the drawer and having it hit me in the crotch, he said it would be okay over time. To this very day, I still hit myself. The hinges used by the cabinet guy were put on in a rushed manner, Bob claimed that clients make his guy nervous (we were never in the house when he was here) and one of the cabinet doors is beginning to fall off the hinge. Bob did make an attempt to have Jaime fix the spice rack and the missing stain on the island cabinetry. However, when Jaime arrived he had stated Bob never told him about needing to bring stain to finish the island, I texted Bob right there on the spot and he told me that Jaime doesn't understand English very well so he must not have known what he was talking about.                                 -The floor we had put in began to pop up after Bob's crew left. Bob had the floor installed by someone now well versed in the type of floor we were putting in, the subfloor was uneven and despite putting down the moisture barrier pad, it didn't help - there are spots that sag and where the boards pop. The company we wanted to use would have leveled the sub floor and saved us the hassle of continuously bouncing as we walk through the house. Bob did the measurements for the house to determine how much of the flooring we needed to purchase. He measured wrong every time. I believe we had to make 2 extra trips to the store to get more flooring...which wasn't in the budget. This just seems like a rookie mistake for a contractor. And it was costly.                                                        -We had the master bathroom renovated. The crew Bob used for this portion was very nice. Other than cleaning their equipment down the shower drain and toilet, their tile work looks and is amazing. No flaws! The shower that Bob had done for us is beautiful, but leaks. The joints where the glass meet have not been sealed properly and water spills out onto the floor in a large puddle.                                                                 Like I said, we had huge hopes for our experience and partnership with this company. And it fell short. All of the issues listed above were addressed with Bob directly. Unfortunately, while he talks to you about wanting things to be perfect, and how he understands wanting things done right because you're paying for it - its a lie. Our project involved removing old Formica countertops and replacing with a beautiful granite. It took me a lot of back and forth to pick the granite and Fabio and Victor were very patient with me. The guys who did the installation did a great job, worked quickly and cleaned up after. I give the company *****'s!

First, let me say that he came out and did an estimate right away and seemed incredibly knowledgeable. I was so excited to hire this company to remodel the kitchen in my mother-in-law suite. Unfortunately it took two weeks to get the initial estimate rather than getting it by the end of that first week as he had stated. Then the estimate was missing some major components... The install of a gas stove and stainless hood (and that's really a BIG part of this project).
When I emailed him about this, a week later I still had not heard back with an updated estimate so I emailed him yet again and left a voicemail. His response was that he thought the vendor would install yet he and I had very clearly discussed that Dynamite would do the installation. Bottom line is that he added another $250 to the estimate and still didn't give me any info on his availability (which I asked for a few different times). As much as I would love to hire this company because I really genuinely think he knows what he's talking about and the price is reasonable, I think he is just far too busy and may not do a good job on my project because he didn't care enough to get me the estimate when he said he would, missed major components on the estimate, didn't  respond to my email for over a week, and he also didn't  answer his phone or return my call. I know my project might not be as big or important as his other projects, but it is very important to me and I would have been happy to schedule this several months out if needed. I just want a company that I can count on to pay attention to detail and communicate in a timely manner. Very disappointed this didn't work out.

I had an outdoor patio wall commissioned through them and it came out spectacular! They put up the wall quickly and efficiently, and I was really impressed with the work! Will be returning to finish patio floor and likely much more!

When we hired this family-owned company by the owner, Alex Suarez, he showed his portfolio shows which were very impressive! We chose to recruit him and his crew to begin work with us in our master bathroom. He confirmed an appointment immediately and the next few days to launch working with us. Once they arrived here time, they had their own tools and equipment. They were very organized, good preparations, and knew what to do with the procedures from scratch to end. They showed very positive attitude, friendly, hard operating as a team. While they installed our own tiles, they made sure that we were satisfied with their performance. We are in love with this modern tile floor in the bathroom. They are quite talented and knowledge. Very details! They can do almost anything like shower tub, floor, tile wall, and so forth on. We saw their beautiful work from the previous clients on INSTAGRAM. We highly urge you to hire this company. You won't disappoint you take the decision.

We had a wonderful experience with lifetime and especially with Kyle who was in charge of our project!! He went above and beyond and continued to stay in touch and was very hands on making sure everything was perfect for us!

I had them remodel 2 bathrooms and a bonus room in my home. The quality was better than I expected and the price was very reasonable. The best part was the communication through the whole process and considering the amount of work done, they kept the areas pretty clean. They even brought in a cleaning crew who touched up the whole house when done! Will use them for all projects.

We just wrapped up project with Canterra Construction in our new build. They guided us throughout the process as we transformed our plain, asymmetrical, and inverted TV wall to the focal point of our home. Their entire team is great and we felt supported by all of them over the course of the month-long process. We can't wait to tackle other projects in our home with Canterra Construction!

We hired VAM Construction and Remodeling to close in a drywall entertainment.  Their estimate was 42% lower than the highest bid.  The project included closing in the entertainment center, removing an old TV from a different wall, patching and painting that wall, installing an electric fireplace, and hanging a Frame TV.  VAM arrived as scheduled.  They began work on the Monday before Thanksgiving (11/21/22) and it was completed on Tuesday, 11/30/22.  VAM employees were friendly, competent, and asked questions to ensure the project met expectations. The wall looks better than I imagined. I'm so happy I chose VAM and will call them for our next project.  THANK YOU!

Brian and his team previously did a major remodel of my master bath including removing soffits, installing new cabinetry, counter tops, plumbing, lighting, freestanding tub as well as expanding the shower,. They did an excellent job, showed up on time and worked daily on the project through completion.  Aside from their high quality work, they adhered to my budget and communicated regularly throughout the project.  
Brian and his team just finished a major redo of my laundry room, replaced all our can lights with LEDs throughout the house, added four can lights to our family room and master bedroom as well as replaced our water softener.  They did another phenomenal job.
I've recommended Brian to a number of my clients and colleagues who have all been pleased with his performance.

I have known Keith for years...found them on a site years back and asked if they could help my old boss paint some rooms in our office.  They did great!  Later, I hired them to paint some rooms in my home and install a super cool rock mailbox as my old one was falling apart.  They also painted my old bosses exterior of his home, did lots of electrical, installed some pigeon proof material, and he was super happy with them.  The company is super fast at communicating, estimates, and just  all around great people.  Ask for Keith...he will help get any/all projects taken care of. Amazing company folks...don't look anywhere else!!!

Bryce at HBO Construction was great! He was responsive, on time, and did great work on our bathroom shower.

After several estimates, we knew Bryce was the guy for the job. He was fair and knowledgeable without giving us a crazy dollar amount to do the job.

10/10 will be recommending him to our friends and family!

We hired Jonathan to remodel my mom's home around December 2022 and the project was finished early April 2023. I am super impressed with him: he's reliable, very accommodating and receptive to changes, great with communication, and he has great connections to get pretty much anything done. Labor and pricing are probably the most reasonable I've seen. Jonathan is quick to resolve issues and we had a great experience. I would definitely work with him again for another remodel in the future.

The quote the owner gave us was competitive and i had decided to hire him.  But before hiring him i sent an email asking for their license number and two references I received no reply whatsoever. Weird !!!

These guys were awesome!  They replaced a bathroom door for me.  They are super friendly and professional.  Scheduling was easy.  I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Thinking back on any other past experiences that my family and I have ever had in hiring someone to have something in our home installed, fixed, remodeled, etc., no other company, team or person for that matter, has even come close to providing the level of quality and service that I've received from Danny and his team. Not only does Danny seem to be a "jack of all trades", but in rare fashion he's also proven to be a master of them all as well - he and his team know and perform their work with passion and precision.

I initially asked Danny if he could perform needed repairs on 1) a shower valve in our master shower (not being fully secured to the wall) and 2) re-flushing our main entrance door as well as a pair of outside-leading bedroom French doors to correct significant gaps due to being unevenly mounted to the frames (beyond a simple weather stripping fix) - this was allowing for heat to enter, conditioned air to escape and basically laid out a welcome mat for all sorts of insects, spiders, etc. While assessing the guest shower (sharing a common wall with the master shower), Danny noticed that the valve there was missing a sleeve/backing which prevents water from collecting behind the shower wall - he took care of that for us as well. Also, in the interim between contacting SHR to schedule the appointment and the date of service, I discovered a leak stemming from the kitchen sink (water leaking out of the exterior wall). I gave Danny a quick call and asked if he could take a look at it when coming out to perform the other work (assuming he would diagnose the problem and schedule a separate appointment to perform the fix at a later date). Danny and his team arrived early the scheduled morning and not only performed all the repairs discussed on the initial quote, but also repaired the leak. As if that weren't enough, Danny went over and beyond to address several additional details - which included making adjustments to our water pressure and temperature (water heater) to achieve comfortable settings.

Sort of like a mechanic, it's difficult to nearly impossible to find someone you can trust, that will perform quality work, without the fear of being monetarily taken advantage of. Solid Home Renovations hits on all cylinders - high quality, trustworthy and integrity - all at an extremely reasonable rate. Danny and his team are now my "go to" for any home improvement needs I may have in the future. Now, if I could only find a good mechanic...

Absolutely recommend this company! We had some water damage to our kitchen ceiling and needed new drywall, insulation, paint and fixtures put back up. A crew of two were available to come out a couple days after our request was made and they finished in a day and a half! Great communication all the way through and everything was covered and protected. After dealing with a handful of different companies doing work since owning our home, this was one of the best experiences we've had! We will definitely use them in the future for any other projects we have.
