Top notch service! They made sure I understood the issues found in the home I was purchasing which was so appreciated. They are very knowledgeable in what they do. Very flexible with scheduling and great customer service.

Darren at Metro Electric was so great! He was on time and did excellent work. I will definitely call him again. Very fair pricing. The work turned out exactly as promised. Highly recommended.

Reached out to this company several times by website and phone. Finally received a response when I sent a text. I happy sent repairs needed and home address to be told I was outside of their service area. Website should not say they service in and around Charlotte if they only service Mint Hill and Matthews. Poor advertising and poor timing in responding to inquiries.

I wish there was a way to give negative stars.... unfortunately, I have to give at least one in order to warn future suckers like me. My lights had been flickering for a few days so I called the power company who said there was nothing wrong (Duke Power, and I will get to that in a moment) Shortly after that we started losing power in certain rooms off and on. We researched electricians and came up with Brilin because somehow they have a good rating?! The technician came out and was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I are clueless when it comes to electrical work. The technician showed us what he called burned wires and said we had a major fire hazard and we needed to get things rewired immediately to the tune of $1,160 and furthermore, to REALLY fix the problem, we need to get a new breaker box and completely rewire that because a couple fuses were doubled up and this was causing all of our problems.... which he could fix for an additional $1,650... so now the total was $2810 and we already paid $125 for the estimate. He had us fooled by claiming he would throw some stuff in for free and even called back the next day and said he spoke with his manager who said they could drop the total price to $2500 if we did all the repairs the next day although we need to leave a 50% deposit. I found it odd that this company was willing to send someone to pick up a check when they are in Fort Mill SC and I am in Charlotte NC... and they seemed extremely eager... so I called a friend from out of town who owns his own electrical company and he offered to come check it out.
NONE OF THE REPAIRS WERE NECESSARY. THE PROBLEM WAS A DEAD LEG OUTSIDE THE HOUSE THAT WAS DUKE ENERGY'S RESPONSIBILITY. Apparently the house is supposed to get around 440 watts? volts? who knows... but we were getting 120. As for the burned wire.... it was a copper wire that had some paint on it. My friend said If a wire was 'burned' you would know.... He agreed that a couple of the breakers were doubled up and need to be done but were not super critical. He will be by this week to replace those... $15 each. We called Duke who came out immediately and with a 10 minute repair OUTSIDE fixed all out issues inside. My friend was furious and said that Brilin was FOR SURE trying to rip us off and called them fucking crooks. He didn't want to see the estimate because he said he knows people who work for Brilin and he didn't even want to know because he was so disgusted.
AS I AM WRITING THIS.... BRILIN JUST PULLED INTO MY DRIVEWAY!! I never gave a deposit or ordered the work!!! I feel bad for the guy who just showed up to do the job because I just unloaded on him. His response after I told them what crooks they are was as follows, and i quote, We are better than most companies, I used to work for Mr. Sparky and they are WAY WORSE soooooo..... I guess Mr Sparky is one to stay away from as well.

I used them two years ago when I first moved into the house. Loved the service. He didn't try to sell anything. He was honest, quick and through. I thought I would recommend him to my inlaws who had just relocated from Tennessee to Charlotte. Well.... when he arrived for the service call he proceeded to ask if they were all vaccinated. After a very brief conversation he told them they had to find someone else. They will discriminate against you!! You have no right to ask that question sir. Isn't that a violation of hippa law to ask questions about peoples medical status?? Shame on you! What have we become? I will never recommend them to anyone. I will just write some terrific reviews.

don't be fooled like we were! less than one month into the contract with this family owned company a myriad of things went wrong. few examples...our main cable line was cut during pruning (to which they tried to deny it was them), several sprinkler heads were broken (and not fixed because it couldn't have been them), landscape lighting was turned over and left for my husband to find, yard tools were left on the property--i could go on and on. and don't forget, this is all is just 2-3 weeks time! as platnium package customers our acre property was maintained in less than 25 minuters each week--i take that back, because i hurt the feelings of the maintenacne division manager (who happens to be the father of the owner) they did not show up to cut my lawn on the 4th week! the owner ,mike haynes, was to attend a meeting at my home to put the past behind us and start fresh. mike did not show up nor did he follow up after the fact. it is very apparent family rules here and not the customer. if daddy's feelings get hurt, (this is a quote from the account manager) then mike breaks and contract. or rather just allows his crew (his father's crew) to not show up and honor the contract without letting you know! total joke of a company and overpriced at that! DO NOT FALL PREY to these unprofessional, highly sensitive individuals. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
