John installed 9 can lights for us in our living room (with dimmer) and a ceiling fan/dimmer light in the bedroom, as well as some wiring for a mounted TV. He was incredibly professional, happy to do the work I asked him to do last minute, and got the job done fast and as expected. Both the can lights and our ceiling fan look absolutely amazing, he did such a great job. He's my go-to electrician that I'll continue to use in the future, and I highly recommend him.

Michael responded to my request for an electrician quickly. When he can to our home he was personable and professional and was able to resolve our problem.

I have found my new electricians for life. These people were fast efficient clean polite and totally priced reasonably. I will continue to use this company and it's services. oh and I totally recommend them . SHOUT out to JEN and TANNER y'all did such a great job. Thank you so much.

Joey from JGH responded to my yelp inquiry quickly and professionally. He was able to swing by our house within 30 minutes of talking on the phone and found a solution to our electrical problem right away. I was extremely happy with the fast, friendly, well priced service and will be calling him the next time we have an electrical issue. Highly recommend!

Contractors in the foothills are a pretty unreliable,  middling quality bunch. Total Electric is no different.  
Ceiling fan installed. Wasn't well balanced when up and running. Brent had noticed it and commented on it, but nothing done about it. Incomplete work if you ask me. $145 for the first half-hour, so being they start charging from the time they left their office,  that's what it cost me for them to arrive at my front door.
Dirty boots and tool bags on the carpet, ect. Not very thoughtful,  nor conscientious.  Did the bare minimum and left. I'm giving them an uninspired 2-stars, won't be calling them back.

EES is the best.  With our newborn infant, we had a broken AC with an electrical connection issue in 90 degree summer weather.  Joel came out even though his day was already technically over, on a Friday, fixed the issue for half the cost quoted by another company, who shall remain nameless (and couldn't squeeze us in for a week).  Instead, now we have a cool home and a happy baby.  Class.  Pure class.

Fred is an outstanding electrician. He saved me a lot of money and did fantastic work on installing my fan. I will most certainly be using him for all of my electric needs in the future!

Terry Hansen did an outstanding electrical repair at my house today.  It's obvious from watching him work and listening to his explanation of the repair he did that he has years of experience and wonderful knowledge of electrical systems.  He's also friendly and patiently listened to my explanation of what was going on with the electrical problem I was having with my house.  I highly recommend this man.  He knows what he's doing.  His price was reasonable also.

Cooper did a great job fixing our very complex issue. I tried everything I could to fix our AC and couldn't pin the problem. Turns out Cooper has better brains and expertise than me and many forums online. Carrie was great on the phone. Very responsive, informative, and helpful--right to the point. Everyone else in the office was helpful and kind as well. Fred did an amazing job, was kind, respectful, on-time, communicative, and fixed our issue (even a full motherboard and thermostat replacement). They worked with us on the pricing and our house is cool again. We are thankful to God for Cooper.

I wanted to like these guys. We live in an older home and are looking to find someone reliable and affordable to service our swamp cooler twice annually and repair any electrical issues that come up in older homes.

We've used them before - no complaints. However, most recently, we scheduled them to turn off our swamp cooler (something we really know nothing about or we would have done it ourselves). He said he would come on a Thursday, but wouldn't give an exact time - so I waited all day. No one showed. We called the next day, said he would come that day, but wouldn't specify a time. Waited; he showed up, took care of the issue, was paid and everything seemed fine.

A few days later we noticed a leaky pipe in the garage where he was working, so we gave them a call and asked them to come by to take a look. Frank (the owner) asked us to make sure the valve was shut off all the way (there were two valves which appeared to be closed fairly tightly). So he scheduled to come Friday (no time specified); doesn't show up. Called back and he agreed to come Tues. So we wait...

Frank (the owner) arrived - although he was not the person who did the last service - and took out a pair of pliers to tighten the valves. He seemed annoyed they weren't tightened properly and said he asked us to do this before coming. We paid the last guy $100 to do the job (and tighten the valves upon finishing), which he clearly did not do. And then Sin-Jac bills us just $35 for the service call - which wouldn't have been necessary if his employee previously completed the job correctly.

This is just bad customer service. We were essentially stood up twice, required to pay (twice!) for a job not completed correctly, and made to feel we were inconveniencing him.

Needless to say - we're looking for a new electrician/contractor in the NorthWest Denver / Wheat Ridge area. Suggestions?

I've used Slawek and his team at two different homes.  They are without a doubt the best electricians I've ever used and just really good people.  I recently had them replace all the outlets and switches in my home, add fans to bathrooms, run new cable outlets, fix photo-electric switches on landscape lighting, and several other things.  Slawek will come out and walk through everything with you then he'll sit down at your table and write up a quote right there on the spot.  His crews show up exactly on time and they are incredibly efficient.  I thought they would be here for 4-5 days with all the work but it took them less than two days.

They now do plumbing as well.  I have no doubt, Slawek will maintain the same standard with the plumbing business.

Lightscape did the electrical portion of our recent remodel... EXCELLENT work!  We love the convenience of the new lighting fixtures and they highlight the features of the remodel.

We tried to make some changes to GFI plugs and caused a problem.  Lightscape  come back and fixed the problem AND show us how to do it properly.

I would call them to do any electrical work at my properties...

I cannot tell you how great Rick O'Brien from O'Brien Electrical was. He was able to identify our issues within minutes! Not only did he fix the issue at hand, but he was able to identify some long term issues that we had, that other electricians weren't able to figure out! As new residents to Colorado, this will be the Electritian that we will call ! Rick is professional, fair, and smart!  

I would also like to give a shout out to their customer service from the time we called, until the job was done.......amazing!

We are so happy to have an electrician that we can trust as well as recommend to others!

I hired American Electrician Company to put in some outside lighting.
The 2 side lights the  put in did a great job but one of the landscape lights they broke and refused to come out and take a look.  They said they did not do it.  I would never use them again.

This was the first time I used Tipping Hat. They did a furnace inspection for us. Dan Ludewig was very professional and explained what he was doing as part of the inspection. I highly recommend Tipping Hat and will use them again when the need arises.

i would not recommend this company for any service. their fees are very high- i had asked them to do some  simple residential  work- a quote was never given to me- they were to replace an outdoor light with a motion detector- they broke and threw out the existing light- i was charged 120/hr. for him to go  and get some supplies- he purchased 2  lights  which i was charged 69/piece for - i looked it up at home depot and the exact same light sold for 49. it was almost a $1000.  bill to do not much. then i needed him to come back as  one light was still not working correctly and they wanted to charge me another 200. to basically unscrew the old light and put another one in. i feel like their fees are very high  and the service was ok.
