Best Outlet Repair in Columbus OH

We purchased ceiling fans for two 1st floor rooms in our home.  Neither room had an outlet in the ceiling so we needed wiring work done in addition to installing the fans.  We requested quotes from several electricians.  David from Big City Electric came out to discuss the work we wanted.  He asked lots of questions and gave us some options.  He even talked about some steps that would cost less.  I really like when a company does that.  It tells me they are interested in giving me the best option at the best price even if they could have charged me more.  Their goal is not to make as much money as they can off of me.  Their goal is to give their customers the best option at the best price.  This earns my trust and my loyalty.  

Our appointment was for 8:30am.  Jason called me before the appointment time to let me know he had been delayed while picking up supplies.  I do value punctuality, but I also understand circumstances come up.  I really appreciate it when I am told when someone is going to be late for an appointment.  Not every business will give you that courtesy.  They will just show up late.

Anyway, Jason informed me he would be delayed .  A short time later he arrived.  I showed him the fans and where we wanted them.  He promptly began to work.  A few hours later I had exactly what I wanted.

Power to one room had gone out. Checked the breaker in advance to make sure that was not it. Called Strickland. Nate responded within the hour and was able to get us in for same day service. I called and got immediate service to a live wire in my home. Damon was friendly and efficient. His  fee was more than reasonable and I will definitely be calling him again.

After being very satisfied with previous electrical work by Ed at Safe Electric, we contacted them again regarding the installation of a 30 amp/240 volt electric vehicle charging plug in our garage (typically known as an electric dryer plug). We also requested they install an RV electrical box, just like the ones at the campgrounds for our RV that is parked on the side of the garage and to accommodate any RV visitors. Ed provided an estimate and also recommended the installation of a surge protector since our detached garage's electrical comes from buried electrical lines from our home's basement some distance away. The only other surge protector is on the opposite side of the house (at another basement panel). Recently, Ed and Kyle came out, crawled around in the garage's attic space, fished wire through the walls, etc, etc. The installation is VERY clean and professional. We now have the 30 amp/240 volt electric vehicle charging plug inside the garage between two of the parking spots so it can be used from either spot (wiring is ALL inside the wall). We have a full RV box on the side of the garage. It has a 30 amp/120 volt regular plug, just like the ones in the house, another 30 amp/240 volt dryer plug for small or medium size RV's (or, for an electric vehicle that won't fit in the garage) and the 50 amp/240 volt plug for the BIG RV visitors. Finally, Ed and Kyle added a surge protector in the garage wall, just below the electrical panel. GREAT JOB, Ed and Kyle! Thank you! Looks great and we are already using some of the plugs! Glen installed 2 new porch lights I had purchased from Lowe's. They look and work great!

Everything was great! Our problem was resolved in a very timely manner and our subject-matter expert explained in common terms what had occurred to cause our issue. We will use again for future projects and repairs!

Mike was out today to service our Generac Generator. I have used Efficient for several years and have found them very good. Mike the service Tech is very professional and professional. Top Gun service.

Brian and team of Masters Electric did a great job.  We had a number of residential light fixtures needing to be installed and Masters did it well and in good time. They also offered competitive pricing. I recommend Masters Electric.

I don't recommend this company, the electrician doesn't take notes and then provides a quote which does not match the request.  

I am very disappointed with this company.  They got there $$$$ for the quote. It is best to avoid this company.

don't waste your time. owner shows up unannounce. got him from home warranty company. slow, slow, and slow. Too busy trying to get more work from you instead of fixing the issues. touching stuff around the house. creepy

I rarely leave bad reviews but stay away from these guys. The work they did was good but now they're trying to double charge me for some of the work. Paid for part of the work the day of service and they refuse to subtract that from the invoice after being provided with receipts several times. Its been four months since the service, two months since receiving the incorrect invoice, and no response from Lee, the only person that can edit the invoices. They've even gone so far as to ignore my phone calls. Very unprofessional and difficult to work with.

Recently bought a house that needed some electric work. Had Survivor come out check for any safety issues and get the place grounded. They are fast, efficient, and personable.

I had an appointment scheduled for this morning, and no one showed up. Called multiple times to both of their numbers, left voicemail, texted, and emailed after they didn't show up, and several hours later I still didn't get a response. I chose them because apparently they do great work, but I guess I'll never know.

This was after them taking days to even calculate an estimate and schedule the appointment after visiting my home, and that only happened after getting no response from several texts and getting lucky by getting an electrician to pick up the phone.

If someone actually calls me back about why they missed our appointment and comes out to do the job, then I would be willing to give a better rating, but as of now I can't say anything positive.

UPDATE:
I received a reply on my review on Google from the owner saying that they declined my offer. If that's true, then why did they send me an email with an estimate and a date/time of arrival to do the job? And why didn't they just decline when they showed up to give an estimate, or at least call me later to decline the offer?

If you look at their negative reviews you will see that every time they reply they always refuse to accept responsibility for what they did wrong and blame the customer. Incredibly unprofessional company.

I called them several times to to tell them my faucet was vary loose n moved in n out n left to right. They kept telling me they would call me back and never did. I would NOT recommend them to anyone
