Best Gas Furnace Repair in Columbus OH

At Your Service Heating and Cooling Electrician
At your service gave me a great deal on a new furnace and AC unit. After I've had multiple repairs on both systems by a different company.
I also had Mr. Jones (the owner) install a new hot water tank in my house. Excellent service, timely manner, quality work!
Highly recommended.

I was quoted $350 to put in an outlet in a basement and this is reasonable.  It's an open ceiling, and I have drilled most of the holes.  Also, it's a new construction, so everything is straightforward.

However, somehow the electrician didn't have any electrical supplies on his truck and he took over an hour to get them when there are several places close by.  Plus I had just put in an outlet a couple of days ago and even with a 20% markup on supplies it was outrageous more than what I paid at Ace Hardware and I got extra items.  Therefore the bill came in at $500 for 3 1/2 hours of work & supplies, over 40% of what I was originally quoted. To top it off, he never took his boots off when coming in the house which every other contractor I've had has done so automatically.

No way I would recommend them at all.

Do not call KMA. They are extremely over priced. We had a lightening strike so yes it would be a claim against our homeowners insurance but this quote is beyond ridiculous.  The technician was supposed to show up between 8 - 9. He arrives at 9:20 and proceeds to diagnose all our problems. We had already bought a new breaker and removed two outlets where the lightening had entered the home. When he was done diagnosing our issues (removed all the outlets in the living room) his estimate was $15,749 broke down as follows: $8355 to Megger test 32 circuits, $1110 to restore a 200 amp and 100 amp power panels, $1,150 to replace the hot water tank (the breaker was tripped but it was and still works fine) $5,134 whole house redevice (151 devices).
Our insurance adjuster ordered out a forensics electrical Engineer and an electrician to get a second opinion. The Engineer megger tested every outlet in my home including the garage and couldn't find any issues.  The electrician put all the outlets back that KMA had removed and TA DA we had power in the room.  These two gentlemen were blown away by the KMA quote.  Not only was the work not needed it is over priced. I would love to take a picture of my estimate to attach to this review. In the end KMA charged $952 for coming out and tearing apart my living room and giving me this expensive quote for work that did not need done. Stay away people - the prices are crazy high and there is a good chance they are doing work that doesn't need done. Someone has to pay for all that advertising and it isn't going to be me.
