Made an appointment for today, 3/1 I was told that the technician would call my tenant to touch base with him with a time that he would be coming to perform work.  

No one called me back, no one called my tenant, and we still do not have a working heater.  Super disappointed.

In a response to your rude comments.  I have messages saying that the time frame was 430-530, I called MULTIPLE times to the phone number that called me and no one picked up.  My tenant also sent me screenshots showing me that NO ONE CALLED HIM or left a message.  I called the office multiple times asking about this and guess what NO RESPONSE.  My time is not free either, and neither is my tenant's time.  

AVOID THE RUN AROUND AND AVOID THESE GUYS.

I remodeled my entire house and was my own contractor, so I appreciate a good subcontractor. This week I needed help with an electrical issue on a kitchen pendant light. After checking reviews on YELP and Google, I hired Merv Electric in Bellevue. The owner communicated clearly ahead of time with a bid and answered my questions completely regarding that bid. The owner sent out Pasha, who has 14 years of experience. Pasha is intelligent, fast, knowledgeable, has a broad base of experience, took photos as he worked in the attic crawlspace with the transformer, and explained the issue clearly. I would highly recommend Merv Electric to anyone needing a competent electrician.

Fast, polite and well done! The office responded promptly to my on-line inquiry and had me scheduled in 2 days for a non-urgent repair. Bronson and Josh called exactly 30 minutes before arrival right on time. Explained what my options were re: the repair. And also upgraded the bathroom and kitchen circuits to gfi. They were done in a little over an hour. I appreciated their transparency on pricing.

Highly recommend and will use again if needed.

Alive Electric and its owner, Derek, came highly recommended via a Facebook Duvall Community Board Thread where someone was asking for a good electrician.  And now, I want to share my experience with them on Yelp.

In Late Feb. 2017, I had to take a day off work to be home for some emergency plumbing work, so I decided to email Alive Electric and see if I could schedule a visit on the same day as the plumber to get a few electrical project estimates.  Much to my surprise, the email I sent on 2/27 was answered on 2/28, and they were able to mark me down for the day when I would be home (3/1).

Derek and Seth showed up during the block of time (1-2 pm) they told me, and we got right down to discussing the work I wanted to do.  My primary request was to install an outlet behind the spot where I intended to wall-mount a HDTV.  They completed the work, which included adding one outlet 5' above the floor plus an entry (next to the new outlet) and exit (near floor) receptacle box for my HDMI and COAX cables, in about a half-hour.  For the next half-hour, we discussed future projects (i.e. moving recessed lights; installing a ceiling fan) and I got a feel for how complex this work may or may not be, and how much time it would take.

Throughout the visit, Derek and Seth were very polite, friendly, and straightforward with the way they approach projects, and advised me on which of my choices in the proposed jobs would consume more time, or raise the post-project cost (i.e. wall-patching drywall) of additional work.  I only wish I was better prepared for their visit by, say, having the HDTV Mount ready to install (they offered to install this, but I had not purchased one yet), or by buying other components in advance to start additional projects right then (i.e. hanging lights to replace the recessed ones over our kitchen island).  So, my one bit of advice for anyone looking to utilize Alive Electric would be to have multiple projects and their associated materials ready to go because they charge by the hour and are efficient and exact at what they can do!

For a number of years, I had gone with one of the bigger electrician companies in the area for all of my project needs...In fact, I went with them twice before to install outlets and cable receptacle boxes for wall-mounted HDTVs.  This company charged in the ballpark of $300-500 for this type of project, but Alive Electric did it for notably less $$$ and with the same standard of quality.

I have worked with numerous contractors over the years in both my professional career and with the homes I have owned. Paul Spinosa is one of the best and most honest contractors I have ever worked with. He gave us a bid for adding security cameras and lightning to the outside of our house. At the end, he actually came in under his original bid.  When he showed up, he worked through the day and even worked through his lunch hour. He walked me through exactly what he was doing and gave his suggestions.  But ultimately he left it up to me to make the final decisions.  He followed code and made sure that we would pass inspection. He takes pride in his work and it shows. Each day, he swept up the scraps left behind from his work and left a clean work site.  There is no doubt that I will use his services for all of my families electrical needs.

Dave is the best! He has done two projects for me so far. The first was an entire house re-wire, and the other was an electrical panel and service upgrade. His pricing is straight forward, fair and reasonable. He clearly explains the options available, and helps you decide what best fits your needs and budget. He shows up on time, works hard and gets the job done on time. I'm glad I won't need to look anywhere else for any of my future electrical needs.

Greg was very responsive and easy to work with.  We had a deadline with a new deck project and he jumped in to fix our outdoor electricity right away.  He even came out on Memorial day to finish up.  We are happy with the work and will definitely be calling Greg again for the next project.

Andrew and his team at Bothell Electric are fantastic. I could tell from my first phone call with Andrew that I would enjoy working with him. Andrew was able to squeeze me in to his busy schedule (he's in high demand!) and spent a significant amount of time with me discussing all the electrical needs I was thinking about including moving outlets for major appliances in the kitchen, adding new outlets, updating electrical so that it is up to code, installing new electrical in the ceiling where there was none etc. He was patient and caring, gave excellent explanations, worked with me on design, was creative with solutions to save me money and overall did an amazing job. I look forward to hiring him again in the future!

I know one thing about this business:  when I got a flat tire in front of their establishment trying to rush home with my 3 year old in the car and a hungry baby at home waiting to nurse, they didn't hesitate to help.   A really nice guy checked with his boss and headed right out to save the day and get us safely on our way.

I needed a quote for an electrical issue in our bathroom. While several other companies told me they couldn't do anything for me without coming out to see the house. Bayless Electric helped me trouble shoot through direct message on yelp and ended up fixing the problem without even stepping foot in my home.

I didn't end up needing them to come out but if I did I would trust them with my business!

We recently bought a house and the previous owner did some questionable handyman work. We needed to get get some wiring replaced, but couldn't figure out where one of the lines ran. Ace's came to check it out and they were very communicative throughout the process. Finding where the line eventually ran would have required ripping out a lot of drywall and instead of tearing up our walls they suggested we use an electrician with a locator. I really appreciated their honesty and recommendations and will be calling them
with any other electrical issues we find

Asked for an estimate for some heater replacement was told I need to email photos which I did. Never heard back from Parker Brothers. So I went with blue flame and probably was more expensive but at least they follow through when they say they will.

Dave and his team did a great job re-wiring old knob and tube in my turn of the century West Seattle home. Great communication throughout, super mindful of cleaning up after themselves, and were able to get the job done ahead of schedule! Good advice about possible future projects as well. I highly recommend!

A local small business with great integrity. Prompt, highly professional and skilled service.   We called them for an issue that turned out to just be a breaker that looked on but actually hadn't quite flipped all the way.  With a clear opportunity to take advantage of us,  the electrician did not.  Then since we didn't have to spend on a breaker replacement and he was out here anyway, we asked him to install our new hardwired double oven.  It was tricky with old wiring,  he reassured us that the extra long special cable we'd salvaged was not aluminum and could be used to save us a bundle.  He dealt with the tricky rewire and install like it was the easiest thing in the world,  and happily explained and chatted while working efficiently.  We'll certainly call again next time we need electrical work in our fixer.

I highly recommend Best Built, Inc. I sought them out based on quality and price review from Checkbook and that worked superbly. I got a bit lucky as Bryan was nearby when I initially called, I was amazed as he showed up within minutes of me texting him my location. I'll not expect same speed in future but that was icing on the cake. Exceptional handling and communication of problem-solution... I had old/original GFI outlet that required replacement which he was able to quickly diagnose based on symptoms of two other bathroom outlets not operating. It was amazing to see how quick he understood based on extensive experience in the field. I'd highly recommend to anyone wanting an honest and reliable electrician!

I was in the process of getting multiple quotes from contractors about switching out a 40 amp breaker with a 30 amp. This was recommended by the company that installed my new combo wall oven/microwave as its specs say it's rated 30 amp. Rich was the only one who told me that I didn't need to get this done as the oven circuitry and the whole house surge suppression system that I have installed will protect me and I have a very small chance of anything going wrong. I appreciate his honesty and he saved me a few hundred $.

Adam came out and did some work for us on the outlets, the light fixtures, the electric heat and I don't even remember what else. The house is old and the previous owners are idiots so we had many lingering problems that I quickly lost patience with.

But these guys cam out and gave us a good overview, naturally finding a bunch of other problems I didn't know about. So in that sense, it wasn't great 'cuz the work ended up being like $3000, but I am sure it all needed to be done. To that point, the heat works, the lights don't flicker and the dead outlets have been replaced by GCFI or whatever it's called.
They were really helpful, friendly, and honestly, I felt they went above and beyond, fixing some little extras and giving feed back about the garage door etc.

I would highly recommend this business for your electrical needs.
