Needed help replacing an old chandelier. Red Line responded quickly, and was able to come out within a few days. They took care to carefully remove the old bulbs and fixture, and patiently adjusted the cords on the new one. Everything looks great now!

I needed help with installing a charger for an electric car. I found 24/7 Electrical Company via Yelp. They responded quickly and provided a free estimate.  Not all companies provide a free estimate.  I chose 24/7 Electrical because their total price was 1/3 of the other estimate. For the permit application, they charge $100; whereas, the other company asked for $600.

The people of Wilderness Electric are friendly, professional and highly capable. Rick was more than willing to offer advice via email before sending someone to the house. Kellie was fantastic and helpful on the phone to schedule my appointment and with my follow up emails. Oreo is, as he is now referred to in my house, Oreo the Electrical God the holy grail of electricians. Oreo called to let me know he was on his way, arrived shortly thereafter, took 5 minutes to diagnose my issue and a short while later my issue was fixed. Oreo is knowledgeable and immediately instills confidence. His infectious and pleasant nature also are a huge plus in a service person. He is, in short the total package. If you ever need any electrical work done, don't bother calling any other number. Wilderness Electric will not disappoint. I cannot say enough good about this business. North Star Electric is great. Rob is a wonderful guy who takes time to listen and define what your needs are ( outdoor lighting)  and makes a careful plan including a detailed account of what the cost would be. The work was done very well by his electricians , they were both careful and respectful, I received a follow up call to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction I highly recommend their services.

Shawn responded promptly for my request for a quote. He and I arranged a date and time, which he kept his word and came to my house. The fix was simple and he didn't charge him. I am really impressed with his integrity and appreciate his honesty. I would definitely recommend Shawn.

Note: I did not even have the opportunity to have work performed by Obot, as they failed to show for the estimate.

I scheduled an estimate with Obot three weeks in advance.  I did so over the phone, and was told my time was confirmed.

Fast forward three weeks and it is now 30 minutes past the time of the appointment for the estimate.  I called Obot - the woman I spoke to wasn't the normal scheduling person but said that she saw my name on the board and would call the electrician to see where he was.  An hour passed and nobody showed up or called me back.  When I called Obot back I get a different woman who explained that they had failed to confirm the appointment internally, which seemed really, really bizarre since the other woman said she saw my name on the board.

I know that electricians are very busy right now, so I assume they chose to work a job sure to generate some revenue over coming and providing a free estimate (I'd do the same thing if it was my business).

My frustration is the lack of communication and organization.  If a company can't be trusted to show up when they say they're going to then they certainly won't be trusted to come and do work on my house.

Prompted by a power break to my detached garage, I hired Wickman Electric. This, after a previous electrician could not find the cause. Brian did and solved it quickly in a professional manner. Pleased with his performance, I also increased the scope of work to site lighting and wiring of a detached studio. Brian impressed me with his electrical knowledge and he came up with some great solutions for the site lighting. You should know that I have over 40 years in managing commercial construction projects where I've work with a lot of industry professionals. Brian is top-notch and I would not hesitate one bit to hire him again for my electrical needs.

John is my contractor of the year. I unknowingly had an external outlet wired to and overloading a 20 amp breaker. He created a dedicated breaker in the panel for said outlet and now I am able to operate irrigation in a safe, reliable, up-to-code manner.

I had an appointment for a bid scheduled at 9AM, and at 8:45AM I get a call from Mr. Electric saying that the tech is busy with an all-day job and can't make your appointment.

There was no apology and the Mr. Electric scheduler acted as though I was supposed to be OK with the situation and reschedule. Needless to say, that's not going to happen.

Don't waste your time trying to work with this company as they obviously don't care about blowing off appointments.

Just a little over two hours from discovery of a waterfall in our basement to complete repair and water service back on. All of this after hours. Top-notch customer service. $158 emergency after hours call fee, plus repair cost. Hot shower and clean dishes here we come.
