Best Lighting Repair in Seattle WA
After Hours Services responded within 10 minutes to a request for a quote for replacing a busted garbage disposal and sink hose. Within 20 minutes, Will had an appointment time for me the next day and an estimate for the service. He showed up on time with advance notice, got the job done, and was very friendly with reasonable prices. Everything you can hope for when working with a plumber! I wouldn't hesitate to hire After Hours Services again.

I got a few quotes and these folks seemed reasonable and had a quick appointment for a sink installation. The fixer showed up timely, looked it over, said it would take about two hours and got to work.
It ended up being over 6 hours, three and a half of which he wasn't even in my home and he called someone else to help him on top of it. My counters are destroyed which they tell me is because of the previous sink installation which was original to the house. The fixer made some weird comments about my house that made me a little uncomfortable.
He disappeared for two hours to get more tools, came back and then immediately had to leave to go to the store for something.
I wouldn't call them again for anything beyond just a small handyman job and even then, I'm not sure. The time being gone and charging me for it is sketchy, especially when it's multiple hours gone to pick up a couple of things that was a long sit of things in the end. Seems like you'd make an inventory of what you would need and make one run instead of wasting time/money.
I'm pretty sure the bill wasn't correct in labor but I paid it anyway and moved on because I didn't sit there and keep a timer on the job. Live and learn. The job got done for nearly twice what I expected in both time and money.

Had a goof ball moment on my side but Dean came to save the day. I had a GFCI outlet that went bad, and I didnt install the wire correctly and it ended not working. I am a newb at this and was afraid the house might be burn down. I called on Friday night and he came on Monday since it wasnt that crazy emergency and avoid me paying extra $500. He got here on Monday and took care of the issue in less than 15 mins. I will def use him again if there is emergency work.

Stay Away! Were you to have a bad plumbing mishap, like, say, the water main in your house exploded and flooded the entire downstairs, do NOT call South West Plumbing.
When this happened sometime before 6 in the am, the call was made to the nearest, largest plumbing company down the road, which happened to be SWP. Firstly, they wouldn't come out because it was before 9. Not so helpful, when a hundred gallons every 5 minutes is pouring into your abode. Thankfully, the fire department wasn't doing anything too pressing, so they shut the water off from the street.
Secondly, when SWP did come out, they told a wonderful little tale that the parts needed to fix the issue were no longer made in the U.S., and that a class action lawsuit against the part makers was underway and we should contact our lawyer. They even provided a nice little print out of the lawsuit.
Their suggestion was to re-pipe the entire thing from the street, by digging a trench by hand, jackhammering a new hole in the floor, and paying for it all by taking out a line of credit on the house. For around $6,700. They immediately began dig prep outside, without a second opinion or even a thought. They wanted half of the money up front as well.
Luckily, the original builder had been called earlier for any ideas, and he called back in the midst of this Nigerian check fraud scheme to tell us to get the liars out of the house and wait for the original plumbing contractors to come out.
Amazingly, when the plumber came out, he was able to find the parts that no longer existed just down the street at the local Home Depot and fix the problem in a couple of hours. Huh.
I did some research on SWP, and found this story to be completely typical. All of their guys work on commission, which means they upsell (lie to) people on totally unnecessary work. They are not Better Business Bureau accredited, but do have a long list of complaints filed with the BBB.
I contacted the attorney general's office, just to let them know that our friendly neighborhood rapists are masquerading as plumbers.
Buyer Beware.

NEVER call this company EVER to fulfill your plumbing needs. I agreed to pay a certain minimum based on the agreement that the work would be completed. The plumber was unable to fix my leaking sink ( when I called someone else they fixed it within 30 min). He damaged my toilet bowl AND broke the drain to my tub!! He was incredibly rude and gruff. When he asked me to check the boxes on the form that work had been completed I refused. He than tried to charge me $590!!!
Absolutely no stars for this company. The PR person I spoke with later was even worse trying to defend the situation with weak and strange arguments. When I asked if he cared at all about customer service and satisfaction and the damage I had incurred as a result of the plumbers visit he said no, frankly I ONLY CARE ABOUT RETRIEVING PAYMENT. !!!
Ugghhh...
The plumber I had over the next day from a different company was wonderful.
Absolute worst customer experience I have had in a very long time.
I am Freakin' BECAUSE I called Beacon!!!

This company is fantastic. I called late in the afternoon and reported a problem with our community drain field that occurred when a large excavator rolled over and crushed the green risers. I spoke with ROBERT LEACH and he came the next morning and assessed the problem which was major. The very next morning at 7:00 he called me to let me know that they had already obtained DOH approval (required apparently to uncover a drain field) and contacted our HOA manager for authorization for the work. By 7:15, two large trucks and a crew of 5 were on the job. They worked all day and repaired the damage. I could not have been more impressed with their professionalism and customer service. I wish I could give 6 stars.

I just wanted to brag on Ismael and his assistant. My furnace fan motor went out on Friday. I called Beacon and they were here in two hours. Ismael diagnosed the issue but sadly he didn't have a replacement on the truck. He said he'd be back on Monday with the correct part. He and his assistant arrived at 11 as promised and about 45 minutes later my furnace is up and running. Was Beacon the least expensive no but when your family is freezing it's the service that matters to me. I could've waited a week for the other company but with temps in the 20's I don't think so. Thank you Beacon, Ismael and the assistant for making my family very happy.

Once again, I'm being haunted by Black Hills Home Services. We had them install our furnace and heat pump some 9 years ago and and like a time bomb, another problem reared it's ugly head. When they installed the unit, it required a small diameter pvc pipe to carry the condensate to drain outside. With the recent high temps, the air conditioning was working overtime to cool the house which produced an excess of condensate (water). I was walking down the hall in my home and noticed a stain in the carpet outside our laundry room and proceeded to investigate what was happening. The floor in the laundry room was wet and water was dripping from the pvc drain pipe. Upon close examination, a coupling had come apart and water was pouring out onto the floor. The fitting was just pressed fit and had come lose. No pvc cement had been used to secure the joint. I pushed it back together which stopped the leak and attempted to deal with the water soaked carpet and vinyl flooring in the laundry room. I've had several issues with BHHS including price gouging for repair parts but this is the first time an issue with a faulty installation has come up. I'm going to have an inspection by a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor and send BHHS the bill including the cleaning or replacement of the carpet in my hallway. The attached picture is a couple days old and the stain has grown three to four times.
