Best Lighting Repair in Seattle WA

Had Igor hook up my electric sauna heater. Did a great job on the install. Had issues with a breaker and loose connection which he then fixed in a jif.  Great customer service, reliable and attentive. Will be using them in the future for my electrical  needs.

This is my first time using Merv Electric.  Comparing them to another company I used for another home, Merv is professional,  on time, courteous, responds quickly, easy to work with, and satisfaction is there number one priority!  I called them regarding my house in Bellevue,  Poscha came the next day, gave me a comprehensive bid, started work within a day, and finished on time!  Poscha was very patient, and answered all of my questions, you couldn't find a more respectful person.

I would definately use them again!  I have worked with 3 different electrical companies,  and by far Merv Rlectric is hands down the best on all areas!

One weekend evening, the lights in our living room abruptly went out. And we had just returned from a long trip, so at that moment, this was an issue we really, really did not want to be dealing with. Tired and annoyed, we fired up the Yelp estimate machine, which sent out my information, as well as a description of the issue to six local electricians. Finish Solar Electrical responded within ten minutes, late Sunday night with an estimate that seemed fair to us and confirmed that they could have an electrician visit the very next day. So we scheduled that visit, but still kept the Yelp estimate system open. The very next day, the other companies' estimates started rolling in. But theirs were all much more expensive, with appointments much later in the week. The Finish Solar Electrical electrician showed up right on time and was able to quickly diagnose the issue, even despite our complete ignorance of our home's electrical system. We didn't even know where our master switch was! He was able to find everything he needed and determined that we needed a new breaker. Another plus for us was that he also very patiently explained the issue and made sure we understood (in accessible terms) exactly what the problem and the solution were. We discussed options, and he left to purchase a new part. Then he returned, installed the new breaker, ran diagnostics, tested a few outlets, and made sure that there were no further issues. The price was much lower than we expected. Thanks to Finish Solar Electrical, an experience that we pretty much thought we'd be hating ended up being a very smooth and even dare I say, ENJOYABLE experience! Despite their minimal Yelp presence, I learned that they have a ton of diverse residential experience in and around the Seattle area. I highly recommend this company.

Vets Electric sent over Brandon and Alex and they were exceptional in their customer service and troubleshooting skills.  We had an entire wall go out after plugging in a portable heater and they were able to correct some faulty wiring issues, that had been done by the prior owners. We will Highly Recommend them to all our friends or anyone who encounters electrical issues.

I had Kemly move my breaker box about 2 feet horizontally - which sounds easy but it's actually a ton of work. They did it right, repulling new 3/0 cable from the meter to the box and reterminating all the incoming wires. The job took the better part of a day.

My only issue would be cost. I feel like it was a bit expensive (over a grand) for what was done but it was in the ballpark. I think their prices are fair just not a great deal. They didn't cut corners on the work and clearly know their stuff so paying to have it done right is worth it.

These guys did an awesome job for me. Fast, efficient and per the book. Conscientious beyond anything I've ever encountered in a private contractor. I'd recommend them to anybody needing electrical work.

I was so impressed with the service we got from the Electric Company of Seattle. They were able to give me a next day appointment, and Mike did an excellent job on our repair. He had to cut a hole in the wall to get at some of the wiring, but instead of leaving it open for us to patch later, he installed a bonus outlet! How thoughtful and convenient! This was a fairly small job (2 hours of work) that we'd tried to have looked at several times before, but other companies weren't interested in taking it on. The Electric Company of Seattle responded quickly and courteously, and took our need seriously. Thank you so much.

I have learned over the years that electricity was something best left to the experts, Seth was my first call--and my only call. I had planned to get bids from several electricians, but once I talked to  Seth at SMC Electric, I stopped searching. Not only was he prompt, honest, and very courteous, he was also extremely professional. Seth was very upfront with project costs and time, and had everything done well ahead of what was promised. Seth even answered all my questions while he was working. It's really rare to find his level of work ethic these days. Thank you for your help Seth from SMC Electric!

Victor and Alex replaced several of my light fixtures and a bathroom fan replacement. They were professional, reliable, and did a great job. The fan caused some problems when they were trying to install it and they came back a few days later to make sure it was working. They were also very patient with all of my questions. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! They did great work. Also, they were able to get me in quickly and were really clear with communication and scheduling. The whole process felt efficient.

I emailed about 7am.  Received an email from Steve by 8. We set an appointment for 1-3 pm.  Then Oreo called, he could come right then if that worked for us.  It did and he arrived approximately half hour later. Oreo was wonderful.  He checked the panel and a few of the outlets.  Changed what needed replacing.  He was quick, knowledgeable and competent.  He suggested what to look for.  The price was very reasonable.  We will definitely use Wilderness Electric again when needed.

I just called and got the message that this company is unable to take new customers, and to try again in six months. It's good that the company is honest and straight forward. So I would like the offer for a referral.

Shawn was fantastic and I'd highly recommend him. From start to finish, he was a prompt and patient communicator, which can't be said for most contractors. He quickly returned my call, found time for a comprehensive estimate and offered a competitive quote to upgrade my service, and replace my panel, install a car charger, and a many more small tasks.

During the project, he was efficient while taking time to answer all my questions and explain everything in layman's terms. He was always super considerate to do everything the right way, even if it wasn't the fastest way.

All in all, Shawn was great.

These guys are great.  Installed 3 digital thermostats and 2 light fixtures.  In and out, no fuss, no bother and at a fair price.  Will definitely be calling them again!

Brian's work was prompt and efficient, and he solved our problem in no time at all.  We had two electrical outlets that had gone out, and he figured out that it was connected to the hot water faucet by the kitchen sink.  I was very impressed that he figured that out from not knowing how the house was wired in the first place.  Quick and impressive work!  He was also polite and professional and explained everything to me clearly.  His rates are also more than fair.  True expertise.  Very highly recommended!

I hired Jon to do some electrical work to bring powers to my AC, and I was very impressed by his service. He gave me a competitive quote, showed up on time, and completed the job quickly, and efficiently. He was very knowledgeable and explained well what he was doing. He also made sure it was working properly before he left. He was very professional, responsive and reliable throughout the process. I definitely recommend him for any small electrical work.

We had a terrific experience with Mr. Electric.  James came on time, and then solved an issue we have had with our old oven with a creative solution, and then found a less intrusive method to install a new outlet. He was careful with COVID protocol and nice to have around.

So disappointed with their customer service. Had them out to clear a clogged drain which they said they were leaving a thing of bio-clean to use on the drain. We asked if there was an additional charge for the bio-clean and were told that there was not. Paid the $500+ bill, which we thought was too high, and asked for the invoice. We were told the invoice would be sent via email. Sure enough when we received the email the invoice had a charge of $89 for the bio-clean. Called multiple times requesting a refund. Finally received an email back - not a call - that they would not be refunding the price of the bio-clean as they believe that we were informed of the additional cost. There is no way we would have agreed to the cost for something like that. We have used Hunts a few times in the past and we're planning on using them more. After this incident we will not be using their services at all. I would advise others to also rethink using them. Check out the bbb complaints and note that their business practice seems to be to offer refunds after a poor review has been left - as long as the customer removes the complaint and signs a waiver. That right there is a red flag! Think. Check things out. Find another service company to use.
