Best Thermostat Repair in Seattle WA

came to do annual cleaning on our furnace in September of 2011, and after the service guy left, I smelled gas.    He had only been gone 5 minutes, so I called him, and he said oh, it's just residual smell from when I did my work.  He wouldn't come back right then and there to check it.    I left for work, but cracked all the windows in my house first.   Very glad I did.   Came home after work and whole house was full of gas smell.   Called them, they had to send someone back out, and as it turns out, the guy shut the furnace door on a flex pipe and cracked it.........so gas had been leaking all day.    Will NEVER work with this company again.

They were reasonably quick with a reasonable price to diagnose the hot water tank. That's how they get their foot in the door. Within minutes of the arrival they were quoting me a price  of over $1900 to replace 1-40 gal gas HW tank. I could buy a brand new tank for around $400 at home depot, so they want $1500 for an hour's labor? WTF! What a rip-off! I was a general contractor for about 15 years in a younger life, so I have an idea about what things should cost. Being retired and laid up with a bad wrist this wasn't a task I could take on myself. I made a second call. The second plumber charged me $1200 to replace the tank. It was still a steep price but a lot more reasonable that Hunt's price!

Honest and helpful. I have a problem with my heat pump. I called Washington Energy Services. The solution was going to be expensive. I approved it. When the technician got back I got a call from the service adviser who recommended I try the company that installed it and that I might be able to save some money by a warranty adjustment. He even looked up the phone number for me to call. They could have just gone ahead and done the work but went way above and beyond.

I hired them to install a tv mount above my fireplace, my wall was destroyed, mount incorrectly installed even after 2 electricians! Totally incredibly inept people and company refused to come back to correct problem!!! I can send multiple pictures to show their shoddy workand also texts to deny fixing their mistakes!!!  I would NEVER EVER RECOMMEND hiring this company!!!!

Installed my Nest thermostat and cleaned/serviced my furnace. So happy with the service! I've had this unit for 15 years and honestly, it's never worked so good. Better air flow (which I didn't realize was a problem until Allred fixed it) and recommendations on how to ensure I keep my furnace running smoothly. They will be my go-to company for this type of work from now on. Thanks!

Our heat pump was not operating properly and a Mercurios technician came to look at it. His advice was to forget about fixing it and to replace it with an A/C unit. And while we were at it to replace the furnace. He claimed it would save money overall because the new units were more efficient. Um, no.

The installers left without bothering to program the thermostat. I could have figured it out myself, but it should have been done by the installers. They sent someone out to explain the thermostat. It all seemed good until I realized later that the thermostat they used wasn't even as good as the old one they removed. The new one doesn't automatically switch from heating to cooling, it must be done manually. This is especially annoying during spring and fall months.

After about 15 months of use, a part in the furnace failed and I was told we would have to pay for a replacement.

As I receive energy bills I can honestly report that the new more efficient system is not saving a penny. So, thousands spent on replacements for not much in return. The a/c does perform better than the heat pump, but nothing else has improved.

Great guy.  Doesn't charge anything if he can't fix your problem.  Quick response times, straightforward.

Had a repipe done, Eric and Alex were exemplary. Very clear, explained everything they were doing and why they were doing it.  Clean job, cleared away after themselves,  totally professional.

I recently purchased a Bryant furnace from WA Energy Service and very pleased with the staff and installation. Very polite and professional not to mention fast and hard working! I have always been pleased with their services! Extra thanks to Igor & Ruben. Excellent team.

$800 for a GARBAGE DISPOSAL?! I can practically get a tank and basic water heater install for that!  My dad and his wife are elderly and live in Maple Valley.  They had a problem with the garbage disposal.  I received a text from them saying they were replacing it and it was going to cost $1000.00!!! FOR A GARBAGE DISPOSAL!
I was on the other side of the state, so I called my dad and asked to speak to the technician.  Given they already had the old one out and were in the process of installing the new one, I was kinda f*'d.  I asked a few questions and Troy answered them.  I got it changed from the 3/4 hp to the 1/2 hp saving us $100 or so.  End price? $834 for a GARBAGE DISPOSAL?!
I cannot do this work myself, so I expect it will cost something.  I expect the markup on the parts to be ridiculous.  But when it's this much, they clearly just took advantage of an elderly couple who didn't know any better and of me who wasn't there to stop them.

Don't call them for anything without getting competitive bids.  They will rob you.

I recommend against using DEAR Services. Their representative assured me of a rebate from my power company in the amount of $1000, when in reality they have no contract at all with my power company! He actually sold me an upgraded model in order to qualify for this rebate. Anyone can hire a bad representative, but DEAR Services failed to respond to any of my numerous requests To resolve this issue. All told The deceptions of DEAR Services cost me in the neighborhood of $2500! There are many companies out there who will not only provide good product and service but also to deal with you in an honorable way. Steer clear of DEAR Services!
