Best Pipe Repair in Seattle WA
Quick update on our heat pump installation: Seatown failed electrical inspection twice and just failed HVAC inspection again for the THIRD time. They continue to work on their own schedule and not care at all about what we might need as a customer.
It's to the point where I'm kind of worried every night that my house is going to burn down. They have certainly not left me with much confidence in their abilities. Again, I really wanted to like this company...

Worst experience I've ever had. A guy who thinks he knows everything came out to give me an estimate. He told me how great his team was and how his electricians are super special people with super special skills and how they were going to fix everything because apparently he knows everything. In reality, he barely listened to what I needed and sent people out unprepared. He is a salesman who is never wrong--how fun for the customer!
His guys came out. I was told they'd be at my place for a full day. He was late when he came to give me the estimate and his guys were late when they came to do the work. I asked them to help me get a ceiling fan to work, install a light and install a dimmer switch for a separate light.
The estimator guy didn't bother looking at the light before sending his guys out. AFTER the electricians drilled a hole in my wall, he said he couldn't install the light because it wasn't up to code in the US. Could the estimator who knows everything or the electrician doing the work LOOK at the light before agreeing to do the work and before drilling a hole in my wall? In my case, apparently not. I followed up with the manufacturer of the light and was told they actually are up to code in the US and have been selling their lights with no issue for over 6 years in the US. Since I am not an electrician, I trusted the guys I was paying and let them leave without installing the light. I have since found two different electricians dumbfounded by this chain of events and I was able to install my light.
The second issue was the ceiling fan. I'd had it installed and there was electricity running to the fan but the fan (that used a remote control) would not turn on. Since I was assured it was a problem his super special electricians could fix with no issue, I was not worried about it. I checked on them but was mostly in front of my computer working in another room. After the electricians had been in my home for less than 4 hours (not even close to all day) I heard vacuums and whatnot. The super special guys came out with more bad news on their way out the door! They couldn't figure out why the fan didn't work. They said there was power to the fan and it should work so I must have a bad fan. I asked if they could hook up the fan to another electrical source to confirm it was a bad fan. They called the estimator and put him on the phone with me. Again, they were already packed up and ready to go before telling me they couldn't figure out why the fan wouldn't work.
The estimator guy who knows everything proceeded to tell me over the phone the issue was that I had a bad fan and he wasn't going to have his guys spend more time at my place to check another electric source. When I said they hadn't even been here 4 hours and he told me they'd be there all day, he told me they'd arrived at the ECO office at 7 AM. They didn't show up to my place until almost 10 AM so how is that relevant to me? Even if 7 AM is when their clock started, it wasn't even 2:00 yet. A full day of work would be between 3 and 4PM depending on breaks.
When I explained that he was leaving me with the same problem I had before his super special guys had been there, his only answer was that I had a bad fan. Again, he did not listen to what I needed or what the problem was when he came out, only that he knew everything and he was sure they could fix it. Well, they didn't. Did I mention he was YELLING at me over the phone? Again, a super fun customer experience. At the end of this cluster, I paid over $600 to get a dimmer switch installed and for them to leave me with a hole in my wall and a fan that didn't work and was no closer figuring out why. So much for ECO being super special and able to do everything.
Since then, an electrician who is kind to customers and actually knows what he's doing figured out the remote control on the fan had not been configured correctly. The fan worked fine. ECO's super special electricians had not even considered the remote control as being an issue.
I have told everyone I know about how bad this experience was with ECO and I hope this review on Yelp will also be enough encouragement for the reader to choose another electrician. Do not be fooled by ECO. It was the single worst customer experience of my life.

Our fixer was great in fixing our clogged kitchen sink. He was quick to diagnose the problem, honest in his appraisal of what would be the best and most affordable solution, and able to get everything done. We appreciate the convenience and honest and hassle-free process.

Dean is a very honest person who is willing to share his knowledge with his clients! We realized that our waste drain pipe was leaking yesterday. I contacted Dean about this last night and he got back to me right away asking me to explain the situation. I told him that we have the p trap replaced less than a year ago so not sure what might cause the leak. He suggested that sometimes the surrounding stuff might have loosen the nuts. He was willing to fit us into his schedule to take a look at it the next day. However, after we tired Dean's suggestion to check the nuts, we found one of them was loseen and successfully fixed the issue ourselves. We will definitely hire Dean for our next pluming needs!

After Hours Services responded within 10 minutes to a request for a quote for replacing a busted garbage disposal and sink hose. Within 20 minutes, Will had an appointment time for me the next day and an estimate for the service. He showed up on time with advance notice, got the job done, and was very friendly with reasonable prices. Everything you can hope for when working with a plumber! I wouldn't hesitate to hire After Hours Services again.

Did not show up for scheduled appointment, waited over two hours and when I called to find out where the technician was, no one called back for over 3 hours. Person who called back said that my appointment was not in their system. How is that possible when I called and confirmed my appointment the day before? I do not recommend using Hunts. Terrible customer service.

It was Thanksgiving day and my plumbing to my septic backed up. I was afraid no one would be working that day but Beacon was. Gato and helper came out within an hour. They correctly diagnosed the problem by scoping my line and found out that it was crushed and showed me the pictures. They scheduled a time good for me to repair and showed up as early as possible to complete the work. They did an amazing job. Gato showed he had knowledge and skill in solving the issues with my plumbing and they got the job done well and efficiently. I could not have asked for a better experience. They were knowledgeable and courteous.

It is unclear to me why one of your septic people needed to put their hands on my trash can to move it while I was out of town. Do you not understand that most people put their trash can at the curb for a reason?!
Your company was doing work at a neighbor's property and your septic person moved my trash can?! There was no reason for them to even step foot on my property, let alone, move my belongings. Don't worry, that will be the last time your company steps foot on my property, as this is unacceptable and I won't ever hire you.

I hired Fixer to fix a troubled toilet. Kei from Fixer arrived on time and did a great job. He diagnosed the problem immediately and repaired the issue. I'm definitely using Fixer again, and I highly recommend them.

Resicon accommodated my complex schedule, coordinating work with arrival of ordered units. After my job changed, the owner worked with me regarding pricing. The electrician had to drill 9 extra holes in my wall, however, to find the correct placement. I certainly didn't expect that! Yet I can understand the difficulty involved. I just would have preferred less/no patching after the work was completed.

So disappointed in South West Plumbing. They did not honor our appointment. My furnace is not working and so I called SWP on Friday. We set up an appointment for Saturday. Saturday morning they called to cancel, or at least to say that they were not sure he would be able to make it, potentially leaving us without heat for the holidays, with visitors coming. I spent 2 hours trying to set up someone else for same-day service, but was unable. Had I known they would not honor their appointment, I could have set something else up the day before. Of course he did not end up having the time to come after we'd waited through the 5 hour window, plus another hour. I had had a bad experience with them a few years ago, but thought I'd give them another chance. Big mistake!

I called the company for a quote on a service call. I agreed to the price and made an appointment. The very young technician showed up on time and within a few minutes told me I needed a new furnace. When I declined the offer, he gave me the bill for the service call. The bill was much more expensive than what I was quoted over the phone. I called the company and spoke to the same woman that gave me the original quote, I complained about the difference and told her I was only paying what I was quoted. The service tech left unhappy, and I learned something about Black Hills business practices. Furnace still running 4 years after I was told it needed replacing.

Dear Services came to my house a result of my furnace having a ignition problem. It was not lighting. When Dear Arived they said first thing they had to do is make sure the heat exchanger was not cracked. They used a test that I can not find another HVAC company that says its a valid test. Of course they said my heat exchanger was cracked and the entire furnace needed to be replaced as it was a saftey issue and was unsafe. With my wife hearing this we had to have the furnace replaced. I was skeptical. They replaced the furnace with a new one and it did the same thing. I wouldn't light. They said I wasn't getting proper gas pressure and said they had nothing to do with this problem to call the gas company. PSE sent someone out to check the pressure and found it was fine but the earthquake valve had been bumped. PSE reset it and Dear came out and started the furnace which now worked perfectly. I complained that they had sold me a furnace that I didn't need. They claimed the heat exchangers were cracked. So I took them out of the old furnace for inspection and found they had no cracks. I went as far as to have them professionally inspected and they had no cracks. I Dear services about 50 times finally spoke with David Hirst the owner of the kent Dear Services and he said he would send some one out to inspect the unit since I was complaining of extreme noise from the unit and then once that was taken care he would see about making thiings right. He has not done a thing and 50 calls later and he is still dodging my calls. So my advice is keep this company as far away from you as possible and use another company. A repair that another company told me we likely cost between $200-$400 ended up costing $10,400+. This company was dishonest with me and continues to dodge my calls I am still trying to get get the owner to step and make things right.
