Red Line Electric Services Electrician
Recently used Red Line to replace a lot of exterior receptacles and attempt to restore power to an outlet. As other reviewers have said, their responsiveness is great. Igor did a thorough and neat job, and helped me troubleshoot and understand the house's wiring better.

Luminaire Electrician
First off, it needs to be said that David is a truly quality guy with an amazing heart that always puts your interests at the forefront of everything he does.

He helped me with a quick consult and install in my kitchen/bar area. His advice was spot on, and he was creative in giving the advice around how I could find the best solution. He didn't push me to get another style of light, or tear apart my electrical panels to entirely re-work everything, but rather found that what I already have works great, and there was an easy solution to install lights that I would like better in a quick, easy and inexpensive fashion. He most certainly is not making big bucks off of me, but it's very clear that he is not about that.

David is a true professional, and in anything he does he wants it done right. It's truly about giving you the best service possible, and that's all that matters to him! I would wholeheartedly recommend David to any friends and clients!

Carlson Electric Electrician
I know nothing about electricity.  We lost power in the wall outlets of our 3 bathrooms.  Called Carlson and the lady who answered walked me through a possible solution.  It worked perfectly.  She could have easily turned my problem into an expensive service  call and I wouldn't have known the difference.  Honest and helpful people work here.  Give them your business.

Merv Electric Electrician
Absolutely loved the response time and professionalism and expertise offered by Merv Electric.  Used their webform and got a text the next business day and Alex was out later that day and fixed the issue immediately.  Needed to separate a switch that had the front porch lights and interior entry way light on the same switch.  Plus checking another light switch for us.  Courteous, professional and quick.  Highly recommend.

Finish Solar Electrical Electrician
I needed to get a upgrade to my circuit breaker. Sadly I wasn't able to have FSE do it due to the owner of my building. However they were great with open communication and pricing. The owner was very open to sending any information that was asked and gave a quick quote for the work I needed done.

Vets Electric Company Electrician
Vets did a great job working within our timeframe. We just purchased an investment property and the detached garage needed a lot of updating as well as a few things inside the house.

The price was very comparable to other quotes but the reviews here did it for me. They even moved up the work date due to a bigger project being slid back.

Overall I highly recommend them for your electric needs and services. Cassie is great to work with and replies to correspondence almost immediately. Great job!

Kemly Electric Electrician
As the owner of a general contracting company (CrescentBuilds.com) I am often the one our clients call in case of a house emergency.  I received one of these calls about a month ago (at 7:30 pm on a Tuesday evening) from a client whose power was out in their home.  I called up Kemly Electric and they were extremely accommodating.  They called our client directly, tried to troubleshoot the issue over the phone, and after not being able to fix it that way, were on the road to their house.  They had our clients up and running by 9:30 pm!
The clients were amazed!  They were fully expecting to have to spend the night in the dark and cold and have the issue fixed the following day, but with Kemly Electrics help, we were able to get them power very quickly.

This is what the client wrote to me the following day via email:

August,

Thanks so much for getting an electrician out to us last night!

The electrician came out in about 45 mins after we talked, and just over an hour later we were back up with power.  And James (electrician) even called me this morning to make sure everything was working well.

Crescent Builds is definitely organized, and efficient!  Thanks again so much for connecting us to the electrician so late last night

Laura

Thanks Kemly, really appreciate your service!

On time, professional, and did thoughtful work like the good old days how work used to be done.  I've already referred Rich and Coles Electric forward and highly recommend them.

Alt Electric Electrician
Justin Nelson, the business owner is very professional. I had first called him when my thermostat went on the blink. I had thought it was an electrical issue. He walked through the various steps to identify the most likely issue. He didn't come out, I contacted a furnace company and had them checked/service it. It turned out the thermostat was defective, which I could install myself.

Because of this experience, when I actually needed an electrician to install a security camera, I turned to Justin. He has a busy schedule but he did the proper 2 visits. First to inspect the work required (actual placement, etc) and provide the quotes. He then turned up the next day with his trainee to do the work. He was able to also point out that the electric outlet that was being used, did not have GFI, swapped it out, and installed the code compliant outlet.

His charges were reasonable given the materials and hours worked to install it. I highly recommend that you consider Justin for your electrical needs.

The Runners Electrician
Liem fixed an issue where power went out unexpectedly for most of a circuit.  He showed up on time and moved quickly and with purpose.  After searching j-boxes throughout the circuit he got my lights to turn back on, to my relief.  And as a bonus, he fixed an outlet for me.  I would definitely recommend.

Milestone Electric Electrician
Pretty much super awesome. They were very friendly and since we are overly curious, we asked tons of questions to which they excitedly answered. Not a single complaint.

We had to have our circuit breaker box/panel replaced. Wyatt and TJ did a good job and got to our house on time. They were here from about 9:30 to 3:30. The work was estimated to take around 4-6 hours, but this old house had some issues to work around/fix (plus we were probably a little distracting.) Wyatt was also very helpful about giving us some hints about some other projects we are doing on our own. Milestone Electric is also way more affordable than another place we had come do an estimate.

We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs an electrician. Really glad we found them.

Safe and Sound Electric Electrician
Chad is a great a electrician. We needed to upgrade the outlet for our dryer, as the previous owner had grounded the original outlet with a bit of wire wrapped around the screw and extended to the shop sink... Super safe, right?? Well, Chad showed up and had the new wire tide-ly routed and hooked up.

Chad then double checked the dryer's installation, as we'd paid for the movers to install it when we purchased the set, when he found that the dryer's installation was also questionable he walked my husband through proper installation so that he can do it again himself.

He was very courteous, and conscientious of the work he did, to the point that even though he hung minimal wire he still had an inspector come to verify his work. Everything was given a double thumbs up from the inspector and from my husband and myself. It's nice not worrying about potential fires or hours long drying sessions anymore.

South Sound Electric Electrician
Please be wary of these folks.  They have several locations - but all are run by the same man.  I had them come out and bid some work and once the bid was accepted I thought we'd be ok.  They'd seen what needed to be done and gave us a reasonable bid to do the work.  They weren't the cheapest - yet not the most expensive either.

Unfortunately, we were not ok.

1.  Replace exhaust fans:  They removed the old fans and left them in the attic.  They detached the duct work but did not reattach the duct work.  When I called them and asked them why - the owner Ray said they didn't do HVAC.  Apparently, detaching a duct from a fan is not HVAC but reattaching that same duct is HVAC.  He had no explanation as to why his people left the old fans in the attic.  I had to remove the fans they installed in order to get the old fans out, and reattach the duct work.  He said they don't do HVAC - yet no where on his bid did it state they don't reattach something they detached.  Any reasonable person would believe if you are replacing a fan, then whatever you took apart - you'd put back together.

2. Install a can light - they apparently don't know how to properly locate a stud.  They cut a hole into the ceiling and hit a stud.  Instead of notifying me of the error (unprofessional error but an error nonetheless), they simply screwed the drywall piece back in and installed the can light right next to it.  I'm guessing they thought I'd not notice?  They also did not put the beauty ring on it or the internal baffle.  Maybe I wouldn't notice that either.

3. They left their garbage all over the house.  Every place they did any work, they left sheetrock dust, old wires, old gang boxes etc.  I had to clean it all up - and almost filled a 13 gallon garbage bag with their waste - NOT including the old exhaust fans.

When I contacted the owner to have them finish their work and discuss the extra hole in my ceiling, he called my husband a liar.  He says my husband told him he'd fix all the drywall and not to worry about extra holes.  So, he basically says he was given a blank check - sure, I'll fix any hole you punch in my drywall?  I don't think so.  He stated his company does not patch sheetrock - which it does state that on his bid.  However, that does not cover their staff's incompetence in finding a stud.  He said yeah, they just hit a stud - but made no attempt to say they'd even fix it.  Just because your bid says No allowance included for patching of sheetrock or exterior wall (if required) beyond normal caulking, it doesn't mean if you misjudge and cut a hole in the ceiling - that you are not responsible for repairing it.

Long story short: (yeah - there's more but more of the same) - their customer service equates to:  we're right, you're wrong and you're a liar.  There has so far been no attempt to remedy the situation or to discount our bill to accommodate for their lack of professionalism (cleaning a job site) and lack of skill (two holes in walls that were unnecessary as well as not completing the exhaust fans/can light).  When I called, he immediately became very evasive and defensive.  He proceeded to call my husband a liar and told me these were my issues of not understanding what an electrician is to do.  Customer service is clearly not in their repertoire.

Be careful when you deal with these folks.  You will have little to no recourse, as I feel now, my issue with them will have to be dealt with in the court system.  Hopefully you'll have better luck than me!
