David and team responded quickly to an emergency issue I had on a holiday (Memorial Day) at a house that I had just moved into. Once they resolved my immediate issue, they addressed my concerns about future issues and quickly took proactive measures to set us up for the future. David went above and beyond with his attention to detail and customer focus. He sanitized areas as needed, he made sure everything was as we expected, and was polite, helpful, and responsive. Shout out to David and his crew for their professionalism and expertise!

We called Green Planet to have our 40-gallon gas water heater replaced. The work they did looks good and I haven't experienced any issues, however I found their pricing to be $500-600 more than I would have expected for the job.

Based on asking friends/co-workers on their replacement costs most ran between $1000-1300 (for normal tank replacement). When we called Green Planet we were told over the phone it would be around $1000 which was inline with my expectations. However after the installer showed up the quote was $1500 for the tank/install. Plus he recommended replacing the small pressure tank on the top for around $200. So total price was $1700 and after tax just over $1800.

When we questioned the difference between his quote and the phone quote he said they were likely talking about just tank costs.  Looking up the Rheem prog40s-38n rh62 model tank they installed it appears to cost around $600, so their labor install cost was about $900.  This is in a 10-year old house with the tank in the garage, so there weren't any complications or modernizations that needed to happen, just a basic swap of the tanks and configuration.

So if I would summarize my experience. It would be they do quality work, but seem to charge much higher than average.

Don't call the BIG plumbing outfitts that charge $200 just to show up!  Jerry has helped me out several times, and always offers honest advice, fair prices, and friendly quality service.  Support your local West Seattle plumber!

Called Jeff @ Stellar Plumbing (a one-man operation) after seeing other reviews here.  So glad I did!  

He showed up right on time for our early morning appt (even a few minutes early actually), was so friendly, polite and got the job done in half the time he had quoted me over the phone!  (And I thought the original quote was great.)

I appreciate his professional manner and work ethic and will definitely recommend him to my family and friends.

We just sold our house and needed to get a hole in our old sewer line fixed.  The issue was 11 feet deep under our driveway.  Needless to say it would have been a massive cost.  If you've been wandering around online trying to figure out who to hire, consider your search done.  The trenchless work these guys do will save you SO MUCH MONEY and you will be hard pressed to find anyone that does it better.  Jason came to take care of our job.  Needless to say it was a tough one due to some of the corners and damage in our line.  It turned into a long day for Jason, but he never gave us any doubt that he could get the job done.  And he did!  He was persistent and meticulous with his work.  Perfect clean up, friendly, timely, and obviously a master of his craft.  Pro Sewer Repair and Jason for the win.

This is the second time I've used Schuerman Plumbing. Both Jim and Mark were very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant! They replaced my refrigerator hose and valve- did a great job. They are busy so you might have to wait a bit to get an appointment. Molly-their receptionist is very friendly as well. Would most definitely recommend if you're looking for a good plumber!!

I called Monday morning at 8:30 and left a message.  Did not hear back.  Texted a message Tuesday repeating my needs.  Didn't hear anything until Tuesday night.  Jay asked for my address and immediately I replied.  Never heard anything so I said I really needed to hear from him or I was going with someone else. Wednesday he texted saying he couldn't do anything until Friday.  Why didn't he tell me that on Monday!!  Called Mike's Plumbing in Lynnwood and they were everything that I'd hoped Jay's company would have been.  Communication is a big part of any business and for this reason I could not give a better score.

We had a deep clog in our washer drain. West Seattle sewer and drain was recommended by friends and I had met him before by chance... Bells went off ... I Liked this man when I met him. [ Bill ]
I called , spoke with Diane and made an appointment. he was on time fixed the problem and I can catch up on laundry.
I agree with whoever said he's honest to a fault . I won't hesitate to call him if I need a plumber again.

Ben with Whitelaw plumbing is an honest and transparent gent, who works hard, making sure to never cut any corners, and all the while keeps a smile on his face. I would definitely use Whitelaw Plumbing again and refer Ben to anyone I know in need of a great plumber.

We had a gas leak in our house and despite being extremely busy, Dave came out and fix our leak that morning!

Slightly unrelated, but Angel & his crew pulled over and helped me at 1am on the side of the road on the middle of highway 5 when I had a flat tire. Him and his 3 buddies asked if we needed any help and were kind enough to take my tire over to the gas station 4 miles away and bring it all the way back to see if air pressure was the issue. While this wasn't sewage work, it was a true testament to his selflessness and kindness towards others. I could cry writing this post. He truly made my whole year and I can't thank him enough for coming over to help me and my boyfriend. He will remain in my heart for a very long time. Hire this man!!!! He is a legend.

Jon is top notch!  He's trustworthy, quick to respond, schedule time and efficiently replace all plumbing in my old, but newly remodeled home.  In addition to getting the work done, he provided great advice and suggestions.  He's very knowledgable and his consultative nature helped us get the best quality products and service, for which we otherwise had not known.  I was also highly impressed with his suggestion to replace the in-line, which was in dire need.  He did a trenchless water line replacement and a repipe, super quick and effective without any holes dug in my yard.  Jon is now my #1 go to guy for any and all future plumbing work.  Clearly, I highly recommend him to anyone for any job.

Always a great company to rely on, been using them for sewer inspections for a number of year now I use them to buy my sewer cameras and have them services, Rick and his wife are the best in this industry. Thanks for being there.

Erik and helpers have helped us keep this old house running lately and we so appreciate his hard work, even in the wretched heat!  Always on time or early, charges always according to his estimates.

ALL WAYS ROOTER has great customer obsession. Sam replied even in the evening on my kitchen sink clog problem and came early in the morning to help fix the issue. After Sam's work, he cleaned up everything. Highly recommend Sam for pumper work.

The plumbing technician, Jim Yorba, did an amazing job on our clogged bathtub. He immediately figured out where the exact problem lies. He was so precise and knowledgeable. He even taught us what to do next time and how to prevent the same thing from happening. The project was fairly priced. I will definitely and highly recommend Mr.Rooter and their technician Jim Yorba for all the plumbing services. Kudos guys!!!

Elvis accommodated me into their busy schedule and sent over plumbers Tim and Jared within a few hours of my call. They were on time, professional, friendly, and very helpful in educating me about what repairs were needed. They also gave me recommendations and suggestions on how I could address my irrigation plumbing issue and toilet repair. I would highly recommend them and use them again. It is hard to find a reliable and honest plumber these days so I was very glad to have found them.

Stop, so not use them!!! As far as I'm concerned, these guys are rip off artists.   I had an experience with them two months ago and I'm still angry about it.  There was a clogged in the pipe going from the house to the road in a rental we have.  We needed someone out quick and didn't have time to search around and check reviews as it was on a Saturday afternoon and we were running around.  That was the worst mistake I have ever made.  As soon as they would fix one thing they said we needed to fix more and more and more.....  One thing led to another and they managed to get $7000 dollars out of us before we said enough.  They still never replaced the entire pipe and threatened to not warranty their work because they did not feel everything was done that needed to be.  We now know that work they did should have cost less than half of that.  When we didn't respond immediately to their call for final payment, they showed up at our house at 6:30pm on a Friday night demanding payment.   They were lucky I was out of town or I would have gave them something other than money and sent them on their way.  Unbelievable, I have never had such a bad experience in my life and I have told everyone I know that SW Plumbing is definitely not the ones to call.  How they run their business is immoral and should be illegal!
