I hired Jothi several months back to add all new LED lighting to my garage.  He always showed up on time.  Work quality was excellent and when there was any question about placement he was very careful to make sure he got things just how I wanted them.  Top notch!

Just recently the fan in our guest bathroom stopped working after having some A/C work done in the attic by a contractor.  The contractor was unable to figure out why it stopped working. I had guests coming in a few days and needed it fixed ASAP.  Gave Jothi a call and he happened to be in the area and squeezed me in at the end of the day.  He found a loose wire and the problem was fixed in 20 mins!  Great customer service!

Will definitely use Redwood Electric for any future electrical needs!

They've done a couple of small jobs for me and I always assumed the work was ok and I was happy. I recently came back to ask them to bid on bigger project and the owner started complaining about the work he saw until I told him that his company had done it. Every electrical contractor who looked at it shook their heads.

Anyway, they gave me a really expensive bid with all kinds of contingencies and then said they would adjust the final price so that it was fair. Basically they're asking you to assume all the risk for their *fixed* bids and you get charged $60 so they can come out and give you a quote.

Messaged with Wayne and he promptly send Jeremy to address my blinking flashing light problems.  Wayne was a pleasure to deal with, tightened all my neutral wires in all my electrical boxes.  Hopefully, that will fix the issue.  If it does not I will use Wayne again for the next steps.  This is an excellent company to give your business to.

It always feels good to support local businesses, but it's especially rewarding to support ones that are just getting started. When I went on Yelp looking for an electrician, Estiben and Brains Automation Homes didn't even have any reviews yet! It's always a little risky to go with a business with no reviews, but something told me Estiben knew what he was doing, and I can definitely say I made a good choice in selecting him for my home project.

I had been wanting to replace the old and ugly outlets and switches in my home, and decided to get a few quotes just to see what I would be getting myself into. Brains Automation Homes offered a competitive estimate and got the job done exactly as I had requested and quickly (I was able to schedule an appointment the same week I started looking for an electrician). It turns out Estiben is a one-man show breaking out on his own and trying to build up his business (hence, not many reviews). He's licensed, competent, and friendly. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned I might want to replace an outlet with one that had USB ports. As the business name indicates, Brains Automation Homes has experience with hooking up smart homes, so you know Estiben is knowledgeable about some of the latest tech.

For my project, Estiben arrived on time, was very polite, got the job done well, and cleaned up after himself. In all, he replaced two regular outlets, two outlet-switch combinations with GFCI, two double light switches, two single light switches, and a three-switch contraption in the bathroom that connects to the light, the fan, and a heater. The bathroom switch was a late add-on (I thought it might be too complicated), but Estiben had all the necessary parts, so he was able to take care of it then and there.

I have a few more electrical projects in mind, and I won't hesitate to contact Brains Automation Homes when the time comes.

Such an awesome electrician. I will definitely call him when I need work done again. Jaime came by and cleaned up a very old and not very reliable Electrical panel. He also installed an electric dryer outlet, garage door opener outlet, dishwasher outlet, and did some rewiring and wiring clean up--including putting in new proper circuit breakers. He was one guy for this job and got it all done in one day! He was super reliable and efficient, and kept his word on the price. Thank you Jaime's Power Solutions.

Earlier today Andrew Sheperd came out to our house to perform our MVP inspections on our heaters and air conditioning system. Andrew performed an extremely thorough inspection and was very professional and succinct when reviewing his findings. In fact, he found a number of issues with our heaters that had existed since the original installation in 1996 and had never surfaced in any prior inspections. We appreciate his thorough inspection, attention to detail and detailed review of the issues he uncovered. Andrew is a great asset for the company!

Chet just came by to do an estimate for a lot of work. The estimate is a great value and I have confidence with the company to complete the work.
I had Reyff come back and install several light fixtures, plugs and a new breaker box. They also installed outdoor outlets.
Great service. Will only use this company from now on.

Rico was super accommodating my shifting schedule, arrived exactly on-time and did a beautiful job extending an electrical outlet in a very old building.  He was polite, clean and fast.

I can't recommend Eric and his team highly enough.

I spent weeks, months trying to find a shop that could handle 1) AC panel upgrade, 2) 5-6 different 120V and 240V wiring (for us to convert from gas to electric for water heater, furnace, range, dryer), 3) manage the water heater install, 4) pull all electrical, plumbing, and building permits, 5) complete the scope on time and on budget to meet permit, tax credit, and state incentive requirements.

Eric and his team were professional and responsive; on budget and thorough; checked in often on feedback and design decisions; knew every inch of existing code and upcoming code changes; and are incredibly knowledgeable about all of these different appliances and buildings, the best cost/value/environmental benefit of each.

No other shop could have put eyes on everything we were trying to do on this whole home electrification project in a complex SF permitting environment and done such a great job in managing the project and me as a client.

What a great experience.  The technician, Denis, came on time and was so courteous and knowledgable.  He put shoe protectors on each time he entered our house from the garage (which was about ten times) without me even asking.  I appreciated that extra level of considerate service.  It only took about 30 minutes to diagnose and replace an outlet that had burned out.  Will absolutely use them anytime I need electrical work.

We had a list of electrical work we needed done at our home but electricians are hard to come by. Eduardo came by after we requested a quote on yelp and it is clear he knew what he was talking about. He gave us a reasonable quote and work was scheduled for a little over a week later. On the day of, he and his team showed up on time and ready to roll.  They kept my house tidy even though recessed lighting installation is dusty work which I so appreciate.  (They did a lot of other wiring work but no photos for those.) This is a winning team.

This was my second time working with Handyman Heroes and I had an excellent experience! For starters, setting up the appointments, inspections, and then the actual work days was all done over the phone and email, and everything was very easy.

Brandon was incredibly approachable and professional. He came to investigate and address issues with our patio, bathroom, and garage; through all of the work (a total of 4 days), he clearly explained everything he was doing and went the full mile to do a very thorough job. We appreciated all of his work!

These guys do amazing work! We bought our house a few years ago and it was always so dark in the living room and around the perimeter of our house, because of our pitched ceiling we weren't eligible for recess lighting either. Me and the Wife explained to them what we wanted with the Ring.com camera, patio lights, flood lights, and track lighting in our living room, and we needed brand new circuit breaker. They were able to pull permits, get things scheduled with PG&E, and eventually get all the work done in a few days, with switches for all the lights, and they were able to mount each light exactly where we wanted them. Not to mention they had the best price in town! We got great work done and saved money, I would recommend OG Electric 10 times over!!!

On 4-17-23 Service Champions Tech, Tim Huff, responded to My request to check, recently, installed Smoke Alarms/Carbon Monoxide Detectors. I reported, to Service Champions, that I had noticed an intermittent Red, flashing light, in My Bedroom, Alarm. Approx. every 35 secs. Tim checked All Alarms. He informed Me they are all in good, working condition. Red light is to show Alarm is Active. He, also, educated Me on the Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarms, how they work. He was Proffesional, nice, and informative. I appreciated the extra time He took to explain My Alarm System(s).

Darwin is very quick in diagnostics and also super fast to buy the parts from the hardware store and fix the issue within 1 hour. When the initial issue was resolved, we found there was another issue. Darwin was quick to find the root cause and fix for us again. Overall super fast fix and the price is also reasonable.

Sid quoted me a price of ~$3,500 when he came and looked at the work to be done. Then 10 days later, he sent me a formal estimate of $4,500 to $6,000; which would include: $115/hour/person to drive to the job site! AND $115/hour/person to pick up necessary supplies! AND Sid would charge me 10% more than he pays for these supplies! AND $115/hour/person to haul anything away! No way! A friend of mine had the same experience, Sid quoted her one price upon seeing the work to be done, then a price thousands of dollars higher in a formal estimate based on time and materials So don't wasted your time and energy with Sid Sattler.

See Sid's responses to all the other 1 and 2 star reviews (most of which have been removed since I originally posted my review). In each case Sid just denies and negates the negative, but valid, reviews. My conclusion remains:  Don't waste your time and energy with Sid Sattler.

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!

My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.

We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.

Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

I looked around at several companies as I had a significant issue of complying with the new fire regs in a multistory building in SF in a timely fashion.  I couldn't have been more pleased.  Tim is wonderful to work with. His guys are professional, efficient and helpful.  Pricing was competitive. I will use Byington for ALL my electrical needs in the future.  They were a ten plus!!!!

Electrician was proffesional and friendly. I am satisfied with their work and will use again.
