Best Heater Repair in San Francisco CA
OMG, I thought he was amazing. He has a great talent for troubleshooting and explaining to someone who doesn't know anything about electrical work what is going on and what my various options are. He figured things out so fast (some which were so simple I could kick myself). Example, our motion sensor outside is not working because water leaked in it. Someone else had told me it's the wiring that was bad. I am very glad to have found him on yelp!

Super, very responsive. Will definitely be my first call if I ever need an electrician again. Had them install 3 security cameras and a smart thermostat. Great about working with me to get the positions just right. Thank you.

Great Person to deal with. John showed up on a dime and certainly knows what he's doing.
He's the kind of guy who will put ultimate effort into doing his job and won't stop until the job is done.

After several visits from so called, electricians and handy men I reached out to Wayne at T&H and he came through and delivered big time for me.
So many people just want to come in and sell you services and up charge you on projects that often times are unnecessary.
Do yourself a favor and call Wayne, not only will he come by in a reasonable time, but he's very upfront, honest and the work just gets done!
5 stars for Wayne. Stop calling these other clowns in the area that are just trying to take your money.

It always feels good to support local businesses, but it's especially rewarding to support ones that are just getting started. When I went on Yelp looking for an electrician, Estiben and Brains Automation Homes didn't even have any reviews yet! It's always a little risky to go with a business with no reviews, but something told me Estiben knew what he was doing, and I can definitely say I made a good choice in selecting him for my home project.
I had been wanting to replace the old and ugly outlets and switches in my home, and decided to get a few quotes just to see what I would be getting myself into. Brains Automation Homes offered a competitive estimate and got the job done exactly as I had requested and quickly (I was able to schedule an appointment the same week I started looking for an electrician). It turns out Estiben is a one-man show breaking out on his own and trying to build up his business (hence, not many reviews). He's licensed, competent, and friendly. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned I might want to replace an outlet with one that had USB ports. As the business name indicates, Brains Automation Homes has experience with hooking up smart homes, so you know Estiben is knowledgeable about some of the latest tech.
For my project, Estiben arrived on time, was very polite, got the job done well, and cleaned up after himself. In all, he replaced two regular outlets, two outlet-switch combinations with GFCI, two double light switches, two single light switches, and a three-switch contraption in the bathroom that connects to the light, the fan, and a heater. The bathroom switch was a late add-on (I thought it might be too complicated), but Estiben had all the necessary parts, so he was able to take care of it then and there.
I have a few more electrical projects in mind, and I won't hesitate to contact Brains Automation Homes when the time comes.

Please read as 2.51 and that's being generous. I don't like giving poor reviews to small businesses, but my experience was pretty negative. One of my kitchen lights was flickering, then went out. It was a relatively new LED bulb and the previous bulb in that fixture had also failed, which made me suspect it was the fixture since the bulbs in the other fixture hadn't failed. I had recently read Terry T;s review and decided to call Jaime. He came out to take a look at it and made an appointment to come the next day. He didn't give me an estimate and I didn't ask him for one. When he didn't come the following day I contacted him and he said he had forgotten. We made another appointment for the next day and he did arrive. He worked on the fixture, replaced the bulb, which still didn't work, then put in a bulb he had, which did work. He left me that bulb until I could get another bulb, saying he would return to switch them out. When I asked what I owed him I was astonished when he told me $300. It was less than an hour's work. A few days later I texted him that I had a new bulb. He came over a couple of days later and exchanged the bulbs. I had assumed the $300 would be covering his return trip, but he asked me for $30 more for gas. I grudgingly paid him. I felt ripped off and will definitely not be hiring him again.

Once again, David Chavarin came to the rescue! As my parents caregiver, their health is my priority. So when the AC went out this past holiday weekend in the middle of a heat wave, I panicked! I immediately called and scheduled an appointment. So when David showed up, we knew we were in good hands. His smile and positive attitude assured us that we were in good hands.
He's familiar with their 18 year system and knows my parents are club members. Without fail, David performed his magic and got the system to start working again making my parents comfort his top priority.
He was able to discuss the benefits of upgrading to a new system since this maybe a temporary fix. His knowledge and expertise have made the decision to upgrade their AC system, with not only confidence, but the assurance that we will be taken care of. We would like to recognize David Chavarin and hope that he gets the credit he deserves.
Thank you to David Chavarin and Service Champions

We just bought our home and quickly realized not all companies deliver as promised. We were pleasantly surprised and blown away by Thomas and his team. They were friendly, punctual, efficient, clean and thoughtful. They completely transformed the electrical in our old house and we'll be enjoying their hard work for many years to come. Thank you!

I want to UPDATE this review and give credit where credit is due.
Firstly, Miro BV's Owner is a real human being, exceptionally nice man, a caring father, and just an all around considerate professional person.
How many times have you had someone say: all I want to do is make you happy. And he did. He was disappointed (as was I) with my experience (see prior review) and all he wanted to do was make it right.
Secondly, Miro then came over. Inspected my job. Made apologies. Sent two incredibly competent electricians to install my two light fixtures (in a week from said previous bad experience) and in 3 hours at a VERY reasonable rate...poof! Pendant light and ceiling fan installed!!
No hassle. No pathos. No price gouge. Just a can-do, polite as pumpkin, clean, tidy, professional install.
As for the first guy, we'll let's say Miro learned him something. You don't get to treat customers poorly and expect no consequences. I will leave it at that.
Hire BV.

I can't recommend Eric and his team highly enough.
I spent weeks, months trying to find a shop that could handle 1) AC panel upgrade, 2) 5-6 different 120V and 240V wiring (for us to convert from gas to electric for water heater, furnace, range, dryer), 3) manage the water heater install, 4) pull all electrical, plumbing, and building permits, 5) complete the scope on time and on budget to meet permit, tax credit, and state incentive requirements.
Eric and his team were professional and responsive; on budget and thorough; checked in often on feedback and design decisions; knew every inch of existing code and upcoming code changes; and are incredibly knowledgeable about all of these different appliances and buildings, the best cost/value/environmental benefit of each.
No other shop could have put eyes on everything we were trying to do on this whole home electrification project in a complex SF permitting environment and done such a great job in managing the project and me as a client.
6 stars out of 5!

Fuse is very helpful and responsive. I booked a service for next week, and they called me to offer a same day service since they had an extra technician. Mikhail was very kind, quick, and knowledgeable. He upgraded our light in our hospital basement, and it is much better than before! I booked them to fix our furnace next week. Thank you!

Responsive to my questions, flexible in scheduling, prompt arrival at the appointment, excellent work, and cleaned up after. I highly recommend.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Absolutely fantastic experience. Worked with two technicians--Marco Pena and Donald Potts. First off, they were
1. Genuinely cool people!
2. Extremely knowledgeable
3. Really understanding when my dog kept barking every time they came in to check on the thermostat.
Here's what really made this a great experience:
I have a uniquely complicated system. It's a dual fuel (heat pump + gas furnace) but the furnace was installed first and is not technically built to work with a heat pump. Whoever originally installed this (came with the house when we moved in) created a chaotic wiring nightmare. I've had multiple techs from other companies give up on this and it was starting to really concern me that I might need to install a brand new system just because no one could make sense of this one. As of last year, the heat pump had actually stopped working and I had switched everything to gas only. Thus, when my gas heat suddenly stopped switching on a few days ago, I was pretty concerned.
Marco and Donald weren't here to try and sell me something expensive. They spent extra time to diagnose actual problem, and were straight forward about cost and work with every step (ultimately needed a new gas valve). After that was installed and the gas heat was working again, they took an entire afternoon rewiring the whole system to get the heat pump up and running again. As I mentioned, this is a task multiple techs from multiple other companies had failed to complete before.
These guys got it done. The system is working great, and they probably just saved me hundreds of dollars on gas this winter alone.
It's really rare to have a customer experience like this. Above and beyond. I'll be a customer for life.

Darwin came a day earlier which worked out well for both of us. He was very prompt and courteous. We could not find the electrical transmitter so he resorted to plan b and it worked out perfectly. He took the job and help me install the Ring Doorbell where I got stuck due to no power going to the doorbell wires. He even mounted and secured the device without me asking. I can tell he takes pride in his work and would use him again and recommend him to my family and friends!

I waited a year to write this review because I was very mad at the time and wanted to cool down. -Still mad.. I should have read the negative review on Yelp, since I can identify with most of them. There are many examples of maleficence, I am just going to list a couple here. First the travel time, they charged me 1/2 an hour each time they showed up. This was with a crew of three, about $140 each day that went to pay for them sitting in a car for a 18 min commute. They seemed to have no schedule as to when they would show up. They showed up the first 3 days, then maybe once a week after that, we never knew when they would show up. When we would call them up and ask why the crew was not here, the excuse was always that they had an emergency to deal with and they apparently had a lot of those. They also did a lot of work I did not ask for. For example I asked them to cut the electrical wires for a part of our house we were demolishing, then they spent all day removing all the wires in that location, even though I made it quite clear room was being demolished and to cut the wires only. We ended up firing Sid, and having to hire a 2nd electrician to finish the job. I would not recommend. They also made holes way bigger than they needed too, since I was the one patching them.

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!
My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.
We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.
Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.
I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

All of my kitchen outlets stopped working I was in need of help. I called several other companies and was treated poorly over the phone. I called Byington it was like a ray of sunshine very helpful and supportive over the phone. They had a technician out to my place the very next day and had everything up and running again. The technician was very friendly and helpful. I appreciate the quick service and that they were very professional. From customer service on the phone to the technician in my place I was extremely pleased. I will refer this company to all my family and friends.

If zero star is an option, that will be my vote. Century Electric is unethical and dishonest. I am sorry for those of who relying on them to make a living. I made an appointment with their receptionist but had to cancel due to schedule conflict. The receptionist failed to cancel the appointment so the technician came out and they charged me for their mistake. Then on the actual service day, i found out that the technician was actually onsite serving another unit already prior to our appointment and the company is charging me and the other unit the same time period. All in all, a 30 minutes job, Century Electric sent me a bill for $934.59. This is totally unacceptable!!!!
