Great service! Vince came over to fix a screen and was friendly and prompt, great response from their office at my original inquiry. I will definitely call them again in the future!

I cannot recommend these guys higher! They get three things right that almost no contractors get right:

1. They quote really thoroughly and within 48 hours of reviewing your project.
2.  They manage the business so well - they send calendar invites to confirm the dates, they check in to see how satisfied you are, constantly ensuring you're happy with the progress.
3. They do extremely high quality work!

We had a sewage backup in the middle of the garage. We contacted General SF, and they came out in an hour. Super quick response told us what was happening with the pipes and our options. Exactly what we need, info and options.  Reasonable cost too. Will be using him again. Thanks.

Dave was able to quickly and efficiently add an air gap for my dishwasher and add GFCI switch in my kitchen.  He was responsive and professional.

Ben totally saved the day!

We suffered a break-in attempt yesterday morning, which ended up damaging our building's front door frame to the point that it would no longer lock. This obviously needed to get fixed ASAP and I knew that same day availability for a big job like this would be a challenge. Luckily I found Ben's page and gave him a call. He was able to fit me into his afternoon and worked until sundown to get the door frame repaired with new lumber and reinforced. He was polite, helpful, and a total pleasure to work with, and we went to bed soundly knowing that the front door was now even more secure than it was before the incident. Thanks again Ben!

I've only called Ongaro to yearly inspect and maintain our irrigation backflow assembly (a requirement as per Marin County, which is a Whole Other Issue).  Over the years, they've been on-time and hassle-free half the time.  the other half -- once my inspection request got 'lost' and I had to pay a late fee to Marin, another time our water almost got shut off because they didn't get around to it in time...

recently we've been having some issues with the device, and they've been pretty prompt about coming out to look at it. the guy is super nice and explains everything in detail.

He was great! Super responsive and friendly, I got a sense of total honesty. He was competent and did my appliance installation quickly and professionally, and gave me a bunch of advice about other stuff around the house while he was here. Price was absolutely reasonable. I'll definitely use him again!
