A++++ Javier contacted me almost immediately and suggested he will send his electrician Freddy to replace the light fixtures I needed changed. Javier is super friendly and extremely quick. Freddy came over and installed my new light fixtures and he did an awesome job at it. Freddy too is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Overall a very quick and smooth experience. Great price!

I can't say enough about the great experience I had with Berkeley Home Repair. First of all, their prices. I originally called them about paint that was flaking off at the bottom of my chimney, in a bedroom. Brian correctly diagnosed the problem as cracks around the roof flashing and at various points on the chimney. The quote they gave to fix the repairs, was, in the words of my real estate agent, a steal, so I hired them to fix it. Brian took care of the problem promptly and I haven't had a problem since. I would hire them again in a hot second for any other contracting work around my home.

Last week our heating system just up and quit working, just in time for a cold snap in SF (and we live in the Sunset, so you know it's cold in early March). Yevgeny from GeneralSF came out to the house at 7:35P that night (!) and figured out that the motor needed to blow heat through the house has died.

Unfortunately, he said, the needed part was on back order and not expected to be available until March 23.

(Did I mention this happened on March 3rd? Did I mention cold?).

Two days later Yevgeny called to say that he made some calls, did some research, and was able to secure the part needed. He was back at the house within the hour and, ten minutes later - we had heat again on March 7th!!

Yevgeny was fast, smart and got the job done. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I called Oscar for assistance on our shower door that was not closing properly.  Oscar's availability was great and he arrived exactly on time.  Turns out the door needed minor 10 min adjustment and Oscar did not want to charge us any fee for service.  His rates are very competitive otherwise.  We will definitely be calling him back to work on bigger projects like a new fence as he was timely, very friendly and professional.

Dave was on time, efficient and quoted me a fair price to replace my kitchen faucet. He arrived with his mask on and was very personable and professional. Highly recommend and will be hiring him for future projects.

Bedr is excellent. We had a handful of things that needed fixing throughout the house and he was able to virtually all of them. Issued with faucets, windows, drawers. He can do them all. In the off chance he isn't able to take care of something, he'll tell you. Even if he can repair something but wouldn't be worth it to the customer, he'll let you know. I trust Bedr fully for any household repairs we have in the future.

I hired wisdom electrical for some electrical troubleshooting. They responded and came out quickly. Metin found and fixed the problem fast and for a fair price. Im very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone looking for an electrical contractor.

I used the Request a Quote feature recently when a tile lifted in my master bathroom and got water on our wall. James responded very quickly and was out to do a detailed quote for that and some other jobs I've gotten blind to over the years. What was even better was the entire thing was done electronically - perfect for a working mama trying to fit this in between finals, December craziness and a vacation.

Fast forward to today. Dwight and Shawn arrived right at 8am as promised. While they had the estimate from James on hand, they had me walk through each room so they fully understood what I wanted. Since James had come out a couple of other small things broke and they agreed to add to the punch list.

I'm amazed at just how much they accomplished in one work day:
- Tile lifted and reset in master bath
- water damage on wall repaired
- bath recaulked all the way around
- two faucets retightened
- a door rehung,
- outdoor lighting drilled and hung from deck
- shelving in two closets installed
- new USB electric plates installed throughout the house
- other random odds and ends

I'd love to say this list just popped up all at once, but honestly a bunch of them have just been bugging me for years. James, Dwight and Shawn were all wonderful to have in the home and careful of my dogs and children underfoot.

Will definitely be using them again. Now that I know how simple they are to use and the quality of their work I won't wait four years again before calling someone out!

I needed an executive chair assembled, toilet seat changed, horizontal blinds changed in one window, hinges adjusted on kitchen cabinet doors.  Ben responded quickly to my request to schedule and came the next morning to do the work.  He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, efficient.  His rates were reasonable.  Great experience.  He's a wonderful find.  So glad I took a chance on him.

We just had a pretty sizeable bit of electrical work done on our new home, and the Ongaro team couldn't have been more awesome. They were courteous, helpful, and always willing to explain exactly what they were doing. Big shout outs to William and Juan for going the extra mile and helping us label our confusing subpanel, providing alternate power to help us get through a work day while they fixed things, and dealing with PG&E delays with as much patience as anyone can. Also, a big thank you to Christopher for his attitude dealing with the electrical mysteries of a particularly quirkily wired old home.  Will definitely use them for any electrical needs going forward!

I hired Ted to assemble a large and complicated office desk. Ted was wonderful to work with!  He patiently worked through assembly instructions that were unclear and unhelpful, but Ted managed to assemble the desk beautifully in spite of the poor instructions.  His rates were incredibly reasonable and he was efficient, responsive, and professional. I would hire him again in the future for home or office needs.  Thank you, Ted!

Eric is a life-saver! When my wife and I goofed our DIY install of our new clothes dryer, we accidentally shorted the 240V connection. That sure made a spark! We tried to reset the breaker box to no avail, and thought we may have blown either the box itself or even the wiring in the walls.

Eric arrived right on schedule, and it took him all of 5 minutes to fix the issue. Calling up PCE saved us a ton of money and worry -- we feared we had done potentially thousands of dollars in electrical damage to the apartment we had just moved into. Definitely recommend calling in the pros for this kind of work!

Y'all Divine Electric is superb. They were super easy to connect with, kept us in communication for arrival times and the set up to the appointment was a wonderful experience. Our electrician Paul Kelly was awesome. He walked through our house, listened to us and gave thoughtful recommendations for the issues with our antiquated track lighting and outdated switches.

The best part was he walked us through all of the recommended changes and gave us an in depth explanation of each choice. He is kind and patient and made sure the job was thoroughly done. He shared his business card and told us to connect with any questions directly through his email. He was so considerate! Couldn't recommend Paul or Divine more!

They just wasted my time and asked money for unqualified work. I don't know who gave you license - they should take it back.
