Louis has become my goto guy for electric. I am comfortable with electricity and my own hobbies involving power but when it comes to my house, I don't fool around.

Just had a random outlet smoke today while vacuuming and called White Horse (Louis). Not only did they call me back with an hour we had a time scheduled that worked for getting it checked.

Trust them. They do good work, they communicate, and they are very professional.

note: they are not a drywall company so special projects in home may need a separate set of hands to outside of the electric work. They were upfront on this doing an estimate for me but I do hope they add this in the future.

Called Mata and Mario answered right away. Said he could fit my small job in the same day (Saturday). Texted when he was on his way. Mario and his brother, Jose, showed up on time and we're super friendly. They figured out my issue and had it fixed. Good guys, I highly recommend.

I hired HB Electric to install and hard-wire our EV charger in our garage. Not only did HB Electric provide a detailed estimate and different installation options, but they price matched their competitors. The gentleman who did our install showed up on time, was very good with communication and timeliness, and even provided additional documents to learn more about our charging system. I would highly recommended choosing this business for your electrical installation needs.

Eric came out to our house last weekend to do some quick electrical during our remodel.  He charges (to my knowledge) on a Time & Material model so just define with him up front what that rate will be and the scope of the work needing done.  Eric was professional, clean, and thorough.  He provided great advice on some DIY projects I was going to tackle.  We need a lot of electrical done in the coming weeks/months/years so I'm sure we'll see a lot of Eric. Glad we found someone close, local, and of high quality.

Disappointed in the customer service and pricing this company provides.  Got an estimate from the owner, Mike, for changing out outlets and light switches (from Decora to toggle and replacing some with timers and dimmers - about 60 total give or take).  Original estimate came in at $1120.  Ended up agreeing to $970 estimate based off of the expert owner's estimate of work.   After the two employees completed their work which was two guys 3 hours each or 6 work hours for both (breakdown is pricing from the company: $125 first hour, $95 for next two hours total of $315 each), so the total without tax was $630 which ends up being $340 less than $970 (agreed estimate) and $490 from the original estimate of $1120.  Mike contends that they are experts in their field, which I guess is supposed to be the reason for the overpricing.  I take issue with owner Mike's overestimate of the time it was going to take them - I am a layperson not knowing how long experts take to change out the outlets and switches which is a basic task so I of course had to go off what he said the job would take.  If the job was a complicated or involved project, I might not have an issue with what they overcharged.  The employees finished up an hour and a half early or three hours for both of them.  They probably ran off to another job and are getting double pay for the hour and a half they left me early, although I don't know if this is the case.  I addressed my concerns with Mike directly and got nowhere, no offer to split the difference to make the customer happy and to be fair, nothing other than a question from him whether their work was okay.  I did not have issue with the work, other than the clean up vacuuming needed to be better (drywall left in my carpet and on the tile floor and I had to have the guys redo work because one new switch in the closet didn't turn on the light which they did not notice) and I had to clean up black fingerprints from the light plates and outlets.  Very disappointed in the lack of customer service, especially at this time when all of us are hurting financially. Guess Raceway Electric won't be hurting with the extra $340 they got from me.  Would not recommend this company unless you like supplementing Raceway's bottom line for nothing in return.

I woke up on a Saturday with no power off my solar system.  I called the solar company and they said to call a contractor.  After many unreturned calls I called Apex and got a person right away.  1 hour later Gary showed up. The owner texted me updates. Very nice, easy going and got right to it.  My system is pretty complex and we had an issue with the last circuit.  Gary kept at it and we found the issue.  I HIGHLY recommend APEX.  They are my 1st and only call now.
