Great communication, thorough, great price. Quality effort. Needed several new light replacements throughout my home. They took the time to review and understand the work before giving an estimate.

Scott did a lot of the electrical work in our last home, as well as changing out an amp/wall socket for a new dryer I bought. He works quickly, and is professional. He is competitive in pricing and provides quality work that will make you feel safe and secure. I highly recommend his company, and will continue to use him for our electrical needs.

We'd been struggling with an outdoor light fixture for way too long--and it was time we needed a professional look at it.  The Colvin Electric folks made us a speedy appointment, completely checked out every possible area for issues, and left us completely happy with our new, beautifully functioning lantern.  We're definitely calling them back if we have any other electrical needs!

My 1972 house suddenly lost power to the living room lights and an electrical outlet for no apparent reason.  Andrew came out and spent four hours trying to find the problem.  When it wasn't any of the obvious issues it became clear that the job needed more than one person to tackle.  Andrew made sure everything was safe so that accidentally flipping a switch or using other electric on the same circuit would not cause a problem.  He came back with Josh and Jeremy and the three of them were completely awesome, digging through 50 years worth of electric hacks that had created a major safety hazard along with non functioning and poor functioning lights.  They worked so hard, like a team of electric sleuths to find and fix the problem when I know it would have been faster and more lucrative for them to just say I needed to have the whole area re-wired.  
Additionally, all of the guys were clean cut, professional, knowledgeable, and honest.  I will definitely be hiring Firefly Electric for my upcoming major home electric overhaul (which I was already planning, the guys just confirmed my research when I asked them about it, they didn't try to sell me on anything or suggest any upgrades that I did not bring up myself. )
Probably the first business I've worked with since buying my house that impressed me and that I would use again for service!

Fast, reliable, honest. We use him for all of our rental houses.

Terry is honest and reasonably priced.  He was brought in by my kitchen contractor to deal with some extensive electrical issues that we were having.  I was worried that, like the first electrician the contractor brought in, that they would side with the contractor and not be open/honest with me about the issues that existed.  Terry was 110% honest about everything he came across - I trusted him fully with my kitchen, interests, and inside my house alone.  He found and correct errors that existed, and was also good about telling me the good, the bad, and the ugly about what was going on.
He answered his phone, he returned texts, and he let me know when he was going to be late - very rare in the service industry.  
Terry is the man - look no further.

Nick and team are really great.  I had a circuit in our kitchen that was permanently tripped.  Prior to Nick, not one but TWO electricians no-showed on me, and a third said he couldn't get to me for over two weeks.  Nick gave me a next day appointment and arrived on time.

He and his team troubleshot the problem for quite a while and thought they had it narrowed down to a bad light switch.  Once they swapped the switch, the circuit worked fine...for about 36 hours.  I called him up and he said they would be back the next day.  

He pulled the box behind the light switch and snaked in a camera, wherein he discovered the the line to the box was damaged at a staple point.  Whoever did this should have used plastic, not metal staples.  How did Nick correct this?  The easier thing for him would have been to go in from the other side of the wall -- thru the drywall which would have left me needing another repair, plus the worry if the texture would get matched right.  Instead, requiring more effort on his part, he went in thru the back of the cabinet under the sink -- and he had to work around the garbage disposal that was squarely in the way.

I will definitely use them again the next time I need electrical work.

I can not say enough good things about H&H Electric and specific Hector. We had him out to replace a ceiling fan for us on 16' ceiling. From the very beginning, his communication was great, he sent me a text letting me know he was on his way, showed up on time (which I found is hard to find with contractors). Very polite and professional. While it was not a large project, I will definitely be reaching out anytime I need more work done around the house.

I was trying to get someone to troubleshoot an issue happening to several outlets and lights in my house. Was struggling to find someone to do it since most companies were not able to give me much information besides their hourly rates.

I decided to hire Pro Light ATX because Tony was down to earth and easy to deal with from the beginning. Instead of just quoting me hourly rates, he asked questions about the issue and give me a worst case estimate for a fix. He also got me to understand that the issue could be a potential safety hazard so I got him to come and take a look as soon as possible.

There was a few communication issues when we were trying to organize the visit, but as soon as Tony got to my house he got to work trying to discard some theories. He was able to get the issue fixed and thankfully it was nothing severe and less than his original estimate. He charged me a very fair rate for almost 2 hours of work, definitely lower than what others had tried to charge before.

Overall I had a good experience and would hire him again for potential projects.

I first met Chris when he did the electrical work for Wright Hearing & Air when they installed some split units at my home. I understand why Chris is their go to electrician. After meeting & talking, we agreed on several additional projects that were long overdue & were a safety hazard. Chris's innovative, practical & affordable solutions were exactly what this layman needed. He is now our go to guy as well.

I cannot review the quality of their service, but I can rate and review how horrible the people are that work there...
My elderly father with my mother as passenger were run off the road by the company truck. The Gueldner Electric Co employees forced their way after following my parents' car in the left lane. Their truck sped up just to cut off my parents and almost caused a crash. My father slammed the brakes and was forced to run onto the curb on his right side damaging his wheel.
One of the workers who was sitting outside in the bed of the pickup (I'm not sure but I think that's illegal, and ghetto) saw the whole thing and relayed messages to the three others inside.
As my father honked and tried to get them to stop, they finally did. When he got out to get their insurance information, they just peeled out and took off. Since my father was going that way, he followed them into a parking lot and called the police.
These guys obviously lied to the police when they showed up (no one was sitting in the pickup bed) and they got away without any punishment.
If these are the kinds of people Gueldner Electric hires, this company must be shady, shoddy, and definitely reputable.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Plenty more better and reputable electricians available!

Corey went the extra mile to make sure we were happy as customers and I admire the integrity he showed representing his company. A friend of mine recommended the owner Steven Fikes to me so I went in and asked for him specifically for some work I have been looking into getting done. I was told by a colleague that he was out on a sick day so I thanked him and left.

Later that morning I'm notified by a family member that he had posted a video in a Facebook group in our community from his security footage of me walking back to my car in the parking lot, stating that someone sent their pregnant wife in regards to her husband doing illegal work and slandered me in the comments. As I am an 8 month pregnant wife, I have no idea what that was in regards to and believe he has me confused with someone/something else.

Either way, this is by far the most unprofessional thing I have ever encountered and I am still in disablief how something so insignificant got recorded and put on social media. If I could give zero stars I would. I'm confused and embarrassed to say the least.

If this is any indication of how this man conducts business, I would steer clear and far from this establishment.

Had to have a ceiling fan rehung, tighten up.   All it needed was to have a small rod reinserted and the screws tighten to stop the fan from wobbling.  He took his time, stopping work to tell little jokes and he spent a lot of time hunting for the screws that he kept dropping, the entire time he was working on the fan, I started looking for the screws when I realized that it would take a long time to finish the job, he informed me that I did not need to help him look for the screws,  the screws were almost the same color as my floor, after deciding the screws were stripped, he made numerous trips out to his truck to find screws, of course, the ones he brought into our house were the wrong ones, so back and fourth to his truck for each screw, instead of bringing his little plastic bag of screws into our home where they would be closer to the fan and not have him making numerous trips out to his truck. When he was finished,  I ask him how much the bill was, he said give me a few minutes to take my tools and put them in my truck.  When he came back in, sat down and started figuring out his bill, the bill he gave me was outrageous, the thirty minute job had turned into an hour and a half,  his time started when he drove into our drive way. In addition to his unbelievable hourly rate,  He included a service charge of $60.00 and he charged approximately $10.00 each for the screws that were less than one half inches long, that he replaced.
I would not recommend this company to anyone, He is the owner and the employee.  His hourly rate is three times what any other qualified electrician would charge.
