Uchkun did an amazing job installing an window AC unit for my father. The windows were painted shut in the house and he was able to get them open and set it up perfectly. We are so happy with the results. He was so nice and professional. Will definitely recommend him to anyone that needs a handyman. And I will absolutely be hiring him for future projects. After two hours of shopping (for each hour we were charged) he came back without the main material we needed for the job. Still insisted that he had to stay here to do minimum two hours job on top. Since I was paying for shopping hours they should have been included.
Anyway we found other service who did on-target shopping before visiting us and charge only for the material.

Called Movses for a small renovation to alter a closet in our guest room.  The previous alteration was strange and despite working off of the architectural drawings, we were not entirely what was behind the walls.  It turned out my desired plans were not possible due to some structural beams and support.  Movses discovered this by crawling around the attic and making the minimum amount of mess before any demolition. We regrouped and came up with a new solution.  He then improved on it by taking an unwanted door frame and door to use on the new closet.  This frame and door style would have been impossible to find given the age of the house.  The work was well done.  We would definitely use him again.

Well if promptness has anything to do with quality, this is the go-to company. I left a message and within 10 minutes received a call back; they were here to bid within an hour. Rates are reasonable, and they work with you on what you need. That was Friday; today is Monday, and they are here sanding/painting. Will update Yelp on quality of work once complete.

As promised, here is the update to my preliminary comments. This project took 2 full days. Wow does this company understand the power of communication. Importantly, they have stellar painting craftsmanship, simply  outstanding. Part of the work required painting the fascia on a 2nd story and could only be done via ladder or scaffolding. They took safety precautions, one man up painting, the other below spotting. At the beginning of the project, they placed tarps and tape, and were always attentive not to get paint other than where it was intended. At the end of the day, everything was put back in place right down to the last screw, and their materials placed back into their truck. I was impressed with the time they took to get it to a quality that was satisfactory to them and for me, over the top happy. We have future plans for further handyman work, flooring, hinge replacements, cathedral ceiling painting, etc. Highest recommendations!!!
