Best Kitchen Addition in Phoenix AZ

Had a visit from DJ on March 4th to discuss the various projects in our home. Nice guy. Seemed interested in the work. But I'm scratching my head as to why 20 days and one follow up phone call from me to him later I've still not received his estimate. DJ, if you don't want our project please just say so. Or at least reach out to me that you're behind and when you'll get it to me. No communication from you is not cool.

I did not initially contact DJ through Yelp. I called directly and set an appointment by phone. DJ came to my home on March 4th. Today is March 25th and still no estimate from DJ. I reached out to him last week and he didn't even seem to remember me. In 21 days he has not called, texted or emailed me. Which IMO is too long. I will not be emailing DJ as you requested. If he is this unresponsive over a quote I'd hate to see how things would go in the middle of my project. I'm moving on.

I'm in the middle of moving to another state and needed the following house projects completed:
-Half of my kitchen cabinets sanded and repainted
-Ceiling patio retextured and painted
-French doors painted
-Kitchen walls painted

Without making this too long, Dion went above and beyond our expectations. He's friendly,  prompt, and gets things done correctly. He works with you. He's honest and he cares. He's a perfectionist. If he sees something that is not up to his standard that his crew completed, he makes sure its corrected and immediately!

I'm was also on a time crunch to gets these projects completed because I wanted to put my house on the market ASAP. The job was started the next business day even though he has many projects going on.

Lastly, the estimate I got from him was very reasonable and I'm very happy we chose him and his team.

I recommend him to anyone!!!!!! I wish we knew about him years ago!!!!!!

We found modern innovations on Yelp after a few other companies either turned us down or wanted to charge way to much. We needed a door frame widened to remove an old air conditioning unit from a utility closet. Irving was knowledgable, professional, and affordable. If and when I have more home projects to tackle I will definitely use them again!

I've used a contractor once and it was a complete nightmare. I was terrified that I would have similar issues with Dream Builder Renovation and I'm very pleased to announce that they exceeded my expectations.  The price was very fair for the work I needed completed. Also, the work was completed within the time frame I was originally quoted. Maisa is awesome. She would text me throughout the day letting me know when Elvis would be arriving, what items were completed, what will be completed next and when, along with pics so I could see the progress for myself. I also liked how the work was able to completed without me  being present.
I never had butcher block counter tops before , I only had laminate. I love how Elvis brought to my attention that my butcher blocks were not sealed and he recommended that they be sealed. When I purchased my home, the tile job in my master bath was not very good (if I'm being tact). Elvis cut the tile properly; removed old caulk and applied new caulk. Now my tub looks perfect. I wanted sliding closet doors installed. Elvis picked out perfect doors and installed them. He knew exactly what I wanted which saved me a lot of time from having to get it myself. The original tile in my son's bathtub was also crooked and the tub needed to be resurfaced. Elvis took care of that as well for me. I'm very happy with the work and I look forward to calling Elvis again for future projects.

Requested a quote for a fireplace replacement job. EL construction gave me a phone number to send pictures to. He gave me the wrong phone number at first. The following day sent me the correct phone number to send pictures to, and I never heard anything back. That was over a week ago. Sent a follow-up message and still crickets. Must be too busy.

Update. After initial review I got a call and text about the job and an apology for not getting back to me. I would have liked to have a better experience because the pics of their work looked good, but unfortunately, it didn't work out.

Juan and his crew remodeled my living room and did a fantastic job. I am happy with the quality of work and the communication throughout the project. Easy to work with, reliable and didn't charge me when an extra issue came up. I'm recommending him to all my friends.

It was truly an all-around great experience.  Mark came out, talked to us about what we wanted to do in remodeling our bathroom, took pictures and measurements, and had a reasonable estimate out to us within a couple weeks.  His crew started the job on time, and they were all great.  They all seemed very competant and friendly.

Once the job was completed, we realized that as a result of our plans (not Mark's), our walk-in shower had a little overspray issue where our vanity was getting splashed.  We called Mark who offered us a few different options and the cost of each.  We decided to have a glass wall expanded a little, and then Mark told us that he was going to split the cost of that with us.  How sweet is that?  It truly was not Sunset's fault that our shower was spraying a little past our glass wall, so that was an added bonus that he offered to share the cost of our tweaking of the wall.

We started on our first remodel this year and wanted to start with the kitchen and our kid's bathroom.  Andrew had some great advice while talking through what we wanted that really helped us get our vision together.  He also helped reign us in and keep us from doing stupid things that may become an issue years down the line.

Extremely rude. Came in within minutes saying pipes and valves need to be replaced before he can replace my faucet. Not willing to work with me on time. Ended up have another handyman service come out 2 hours later and replaced my faucet just fine without replacing valves and pipes. I told this guy he could do the faucet by just shutting off the main water line and I think that pissed him off and his mood changed so quick and was just so rude, sorry a woman tried to tell you how to do your job.

Michael is top notch. I requested a quote through Yelp and he reached out immediately. He came out and assessed the situation, walked me through his process his thoughts, and provided a fair price. He was thorough in identifying the issues and provided a solution that was far more thought out than the competition.

Hands down, Q is one of the best out there - he's honest, hardworking, knowledgeable and very trustworthy. I referred him to my family members as well. Easy to communicate with and no project is too big or too small from electric, plumbing to installing tvs, I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Very professional to say the least. family owned business thats professional and personable is hard to find. They came out and gave a free estimate in a timely manner. They were actually ahead of schedule to finish the projects. The workers were friendly and professional. The owner Youssef even reached out to me to make sure everything is to my demands. I highly recommend Ceaser and his team. We are currently working on a kitchen remodel and needed to resize a window so we could fit more cabinet space, and his team did an excellent job. They also replaced our ceiling fan and did some drywall repair that turned out great. Ceaser is really great about keeping in contact with you every step of the way and all the people he sends out are very friendly and do an excellent job. Turnaround is also very quick and quotes were fair. It was great to not need to find multiple experts for a complex job on my own!

Highly recommend them! Will be using Canterra for more stuff in the future!

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

Very happy with Rhino Construction and already thinking of more projects, now that I have found a reliable, professional, and courteous licensed contractor.
Was contacting Licensed Contractors for a couple of small projects that were beyond my abilities when I came across Rhino Construction, their response time was quick, the estimator's site review was scheduled, and the estimates came in close to what I was expecting.
The roofers arrived early on the agreed-upon day for the work to start, they were done fixing the broken tiles, replacing the cement caps, striping off the flat roof over the patio, replacing the dry rotted fascia boards, and gone by early afternoon.
While the roofing team was busy working away, the site supervisor showed the carpenter the work to be done inside.
By the end of the week, they were painting, cleaning up, and checking for any loose ends.

Would give zero stars if possible because ZERO is exactly what we got from this company.  Spoke with Steve & per his request I sent him pictures and written details of about the job scope so he could prepare a relatively solid quote and let me know if the job was too big, too small, or something his company would take on.  Said he would get back to me with estimate.  Well, that never happened.  My husband gave him the benefit of the doubt because it was close to the holidays.  Nope, a month goes by and the holidays are over and still nothing.  No reply to my telephone voicemails, no reply to my text messages, no follow up contact whatsoever.  As I said to him in my text message of January 12, 2023, 'obviously our money is not green enough' for him.  And even with that, he did not have the decency to respond.  He obviously does not know the definition of Dynamic, but their business name is royal BS.

We initially found Solid Home Renovations on Yelp for a full home renovation including knocking down walls & installing beams, raising ceilings, leveling floors, new kitchen, bath, flooring throughout and more! Boy did we get lucky! After the initial meeting, Danny won us over with his personality, knowledge and organization in planning for the reno. We knew immediately after he left that he would be the best fit. Since the job was so big, we did move out during most of the renovation, but Danny made sure we were informed daily on everything that was going on in the house, texting pictures & answering any questions we had. He efficiently updated our more than fair quote to reflect our changes/add-ons throughout the entire process. Time-wise, his team finished the job in 6 weeks as he forecasted. The guys cleaned up after themselves daily, I have never seen a cleaner worksite! The attention to detail when installing fixtures, floating shelves, painting, trim, etc was superb. !
We absolutely love everything that Solid Home Renovations provided. They're hands down the most professional & hard working team we've experienced. Danny truly takes pride in everything he & his team do. Thank you for everything guys!

Alex and his crew did a garage conversion plus addition for us.  They turned a 2 car garage into a gorgeous 1000 sq ft apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a full kitchen and a laundry room. Their attention to detail and creativity was apparent at every step, and the end result is beautiful.  I went into this project with much trepidation, having heard stories about how awful it can be working with a general contractor. It is wonderful to have found the exception.
