Best Roof Sealing in Phoenix AZ

iThe salesman was pleasant and polite.  The estimate that came from a different person at Caliber amounted to eight to ten times what the estimate was from two different companies for the same work.  So I will go with a different company.

Caden was the second person to come out to our home.  He spent over an hour trying to trouble shoot the noisy rattling pipes. They were going to add  insulation to stop the noise.  We ended up finding where the noise was coming from.  Ended up not being loose pipes and then I called in a plumber to fix the problem.

We interviewed many different businesses that sell SunPower solar panels.  We experienced a large range in system price quotes.  PGT Solar ultimately won our business.  PGT Solar is a Master Dealer which is a very prestigious ranking by SunPower.  We have also received two referrals now from our neighbors installing SunPower systems by PGT Solar.  Save time and go with the best SunPower dealer, in our opinion, PGT Solar.

I had the same experience as Ron P - and my appointment WAS confirmed. They were supposed to come on August 19. This was confirmed with Tyler, the same guy who looked at my roof and provided the estimate. They did not show. I called both numbers I had for this company, went to voice mail and said voicemail was full. Finally got a hold of Tyler, he said the crew had a problem with their work vehicle and had not reported it. I was very unhappy as I had scheduled painters to come after the roof repairs. Asked to speak with the owner - Tyler said he'd send me Brian's contact info. Nothing. I texted the other phone number asking to speak with the owner. Someone responded to say they would have the office/owner contact me. Nothing. I messaged through Yelp asking to speak with the owner. Nothing. No one even followed up to reschedule the missed appointment.  
My best advice to anyone looking at this company?  Move on!  Don't waste your time like I did.

My parents used them to fix their leaking roof recently. The roofers were very professional and knowledgeable, price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their roof fixed.

At the end of the day, we are glad we chose American Solar for the quality of their work, the professionalism and execution of the roofing and panel installers and the price of the installation.

There were some areas where we felt the organization could improve. We needed both roofing work and solar installation and while they present as one company doing the work, the bid process and the cross-functional knowledge of the teams was not evident on several occasions.

We spent a lot more time going back and forth with the office staff than we would have liked.  Also, we had to deal with various different people on the project who were not coordinated, we were misinformed as to the extent of the project and the billing department issued us several incorrect bills, then changed the way they applied a discount, which ultimately negatively impacted our overall tax deduction.

All in all - the outcome was that we have an aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound installation that was very competitively priced, although we paid more than we originally anticipated.  We wish there had been fewer headaches to get to the outcome, but the product delivered was sound and delivered on time.  I would recommend a friend to them if they were in the market but with those caveats.
