Rafael is wonderful.  He gave me a wonderful price for my water heater install and dry wall replacement.  What I liked most is that Rafael was very responsive.  He always answered within a couple of minutes.  Best customer service I have received from a provider ever.  I will be using g him again.  Thank you Rafael!

I chose this company for the positive reviews and feel as though I was completely taken advantage of for my situation (I was home alone while my fiance was at work). The fee they charged for the work completed was INSANE. This was to replace a shower handle and cartridge and were charged $325 for the plumber to be there for maybe 20 minutes. $100 for the shower handle/cartridge and $225 for TWENTY minutes of labor. On top of that, the plumber missed the fact that the diverter in the shower that he worked on was not functioning correctly, but failed to notice or mention it. We had other plumbing work done recently (including fixing the broken diverter) that required a much more intensive resolution and was charged literally half the price this company charged us.
I highly recommend checking elsewhere as I feel we were totally ripped off.

We live in Fountain Hills, and our water softener was leaking.   We called Chris at Aqua Pro, and we were very happy with the repair he performed, as well as providing us with the name of someone he would recommend for irrigation system service.  Chris also does plumbing and reverse osmosis systems.

We highly recommend Chris and Aqua Pro, especially if you live in Fountain Hills...he has been a resident for over 30 years.

I just had Dukes of air come for the first time today, to do maintenance. Kalem was fantastic! He called to let me know he was on his way and apologised for being a bit behind schedule. (He wasn't late in my opinion!)  He took the time to explain everything to me, which I really appreciate. He was kind and polite which was also great! I look forward to doing business with Kalem and Dukes of air in the future.

Friday night when I was putting things away I saw water flow from my garage. Investigation revealed our water heater had kicked the bucket. Saturday I was searching for someone to fix the problem so I reached out on Yelp and received several quotes with timelines later in the week. Nafiz who owns Cleverland Plumbing reached out with an excellent quote and from my research a better water heater than I had at my house. Nafiz came out on Saturday afternoon and we had hot water that evening. No extra cost for a Saturday and in my mind an emergency. Thanks again Nafiz, I will definitely use you service again and letting my friends and neighbors know what a great job you did for us.

Dave just walked me through steps to help figure out a problem we were having with our basement sewer ejector pump.  He also suggested ways to save us frustration and money in the future. This was the first time I called him, as the plumber we had used previously is pretty much incompetent. 1Buckeye is now our #1 for our #2 issues!!

I want to share a big THANK YOU to Jeff for fixing my sliding door! Since I moved in a few months ago, it continued to get worse to the point it wouldn't lock or even close all the way. He was very responsive, came out ASAP, and finished very timely. I have plenty of other house projects on my list for 2022 and will definitely be calling Jeff to help.

I had a plumbing problem and was given an estimate by one plumber who told me extensive work was required along with a price tag to match. Chris looked at my problem and explained what was necessary as well as what wasn't necessary. He literally saved me hundreds of dollars. He is a true professional: communicates, cordial, on time, knowledgeable, quality work, cleans up when finished, and most of all, HONEST. I highly recommend his service and at the very least, would suggest you get an estimate from Chris before starting any plumbing work.

We recently moved into a flipped house and had issues with our plumbing shower/toilet that cause some frustrating clogs. I gave Matt a call in the morning and provided him the problem, and a little more than an hour he arrived.

Matt did a thorough job on the mainline and was able to resolve the clogs for both bathrooms. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone given his excellent response time and fair price on the work.

My toilet overflowed on the second floor and water went everywhere (down to my first floor). Although I didn't need a plumber at the moment, she made some calls for me and set me up with a restoration company that came out that night. She was soo helpful and really made this disaster manageable! Thanks!

Interesting, not once when you were here did you mention it needed to be relocated indoors.  Your recommendation for repair was to simply raise the water heater off the ground and drill holes in the bottom pan to allow for better draining.  Searching for any reason possible to support your poor service after the fact is in no way going to change people's impressions of your capabilities.  

This is even more alarming that you point out in the owner's manual by Bradford White, which I had present when you were out, a solution that is different than your own assessment at the time of the service call.  This shows you make rushed, uneducated decisions on repairs in lieu of taking the time to research the specific appliance, the manufacturer's recommendations, and the correct repair.  

Moreover, your recommended repair was to drill holes in the unit which would have voided the manufacturer's warranty and obviously not been the correct repair as no unit should need to be physically customized such as that to properly work.  

Lastly, you point out that relocating the unit inside would have fixed my issues.  To clarify, this was the first and only time I had an issue with the water heater and it has worked fine every day since I took 10 minutes to fix it as I originally quoted.  It has rained like cats and dogs many times since you were out with no drainage / operational issues.  

I strongly suggest you take some courses or professional counseling in customer service, effective communication, have some sort of safety checklist or other process by which you can ensure you take the right precautions when entering and leaving job sites due to your lack of detail or knowledge creating potentially very dangerous situations as addressed in my original review, root cause analysis of systems failure / triage, and acceptable repairs within both manufacturer and the National Fuel Gas Code guidelines [in the case of gas integrated systems].  

For now, all prospective customers should look elsewhere for better service and prices.  It's not worth saving $50 on a repair that causes even more damage or puts you and your family at risk nor paying much more for a repair when the proposed resolution is more extensive and incorrect; no saving there.  Plenty of better options in the valley.

Professional, courteous, and reliable communication. The other important benefit is the range of knowledge and service. Will definitely use again.

Update: I had Hummell Plumbing come to my house to replace four angle stop valves that were probably as old as the house (1980s) and were all stuck open. Ross and Steve called me in advance to notify me they were 15 minutes away, and were extremely courteous upon arrival.  They completed the job in approximately 20-25 minutes tops.  Ross also gave me some advice regarding a new faucet I am installing. Hummell's price was very fair and the service was good. As I stated in my earlier review in 2015, I will call Hummell again with my next plumbing job.

I had an issue with my refrigerator ice maker and the repairman happened to mention that I could increase my water pressure by installing a larger water line. I contacted Scottsdale Plumbing and Daren came out to do the installation and change out our RO filters. Daren looked at the situation and promptly told me that he could change the line but it would be a complete waste of money. He then changed the filters, explained how long I could expect them to last, and completed the job in short order. He was very polite, professional, and efficient. The cost was very reasonable for the services performed. I would not hesitate to contact them again.

My unfavorable review got the owners attention and all of a sudden they want to do the right thing and refund my money. Two weeks & two phone calls later I'm still waiting for a check. Guess you can add don't keep their promises to the review. Four weeks, by the way, since the 2nd company I hired to finish the job this plumber started & no more problems. So obvious it wasn't done properly by Plumbsmart to begin with, triple the cost or not.
