Had to call ABC for an after hours call on a Sunday night when we had a major sewage backup. Steven responded and was at out house in under an hour. Due to the nature of the backup someone else needed to come out the next day. Taylor cleared us the rest of the way out Iike a boss! Both guys were professional, honest and completely transparent about the cost of the service they were providing prior to their work. Their costs were fair and they did a very good job. As far as I am concerned, they are the only plumber I will use and recommend from here on out.

Great service and honest upfront pricing! I had a difficult plumbing job and have been quoted $1000 minimum by another company but these guys did it quickly and for less even though they found a problem with the structure of my house that made it more difficult than the other company had even thought. Bobby did a spectalular job in my home.  I have had two other companies come out to see why we did not have a strong water stream out of our faucet in the tub and neither was able to identify or fix the issue.  Bobby came out and looked at it and in 5 seconds said it was the filter.  Access to the filter was difficult due to 30 years worth of corrosion so he had to remove tiles to replace the system.  He did a great job and explained the process and why.   Finally works like it did when we purchased the house new.
Bobby was insightful, confident and extremely polite and respectful.

We called Direct Source after another local plumbing concern sent out what turned out to be a salesman in response to our request to auger a stopped up drain. The salesman spent some time surveying our situation and, it seemed, surveying my wife and me to see how much they could milk us for. They wanted almost $800 to get an actual plumber/tech to come behind the salesman and do the job. Charged us $39 (reduced from $69, so I guess we got a bargain) for the service call.

Direct Source sent a real plumber, Wes Hart, who showed up at our door promptly. He discussed some potential solutions if our problem persists, but did a basic clean out for $160 that seemed to make the most sense as what ought to try before turning to more drastic options.

These folks are the real deal!!!

After being quoted around $6000 by another local plumber, who told us our main line needed to be totally replaced, we decided to get a second opinion, and boy oh boy, am I glad we did!!!

Sewage line clog and broken pipe repair. Had an issue during the repair process, but after talking with Travis, they were quick to rectify the problem. I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. This gives me comfort also knowing they are servicing my property management clients with the same level of care. Highly recommend.

I've finally found my go-to plumber, I highly recommend these guys! John came to my house quickly in an emergency, charged a very reasonable rate, and did a fantastic job.

The gas company knocked on my door at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night; letting me know I had a major gas leak and that they were shutting my gas off until it could be fixed.  I immediately messaged 10-15 companies on Yelp and John was the first to get back to me, and with a reasonable estimate. (Other companies quoted an extra charge because of the urgent nature of the issue, John did not.)    

As promised, John showed up first thing the next morning, walked through the leaks with me and explained how he was going to fix them.  I live in an old building, and the lines connected to my water heater/furnace had an undisclosed leak.  He was here for 3.5-4 hours, and did an incredibly thorough job patching up the lines and replacing the shut off valves.  The gas company checked for leaks when they turned the gas back on, and the commented what an amazing job he had done.

I will be keeping John's info and will contact him for any and all future plumbing needs.  He was very polite, fairly priced, and treated my home like his own.

Both toilets backed up and it was July 4th weekend. Another company said they could come by on Monday. The situation couldn't sit until Monday. Was directed to go thru Mr Young sw Kim, she was very professional and courteous.  Was given a window of 11-4 and plumber showed up promptly at 11a. Spoke with Eric and then Robert brought the 'snake' to take care of backup.  I 100% recommend the company and will be reaching out to them for any plumbing issues. It's refreshing to deal with a company, that the owner and employees show that you as a customer are valued.

The owner, Ben, came personally and cleared two clogged sinks, flushed two water heaters, and then even fixed water pressure issues that I had with two separate sinks at no extra charge!  I called the day before and he answered immediately and answered all of my questions.  He then came out the next day, right on time, and completed all of the work.  He gave a written quote BEFORE touching a thing, which was very competitive, and left no room for surprises.  I would hire him again and recommend Ben and his team without hesitation!

I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. Have used Roto-Rooter before and trusted them.  No more.  When I use them it is always for the same service - cleaning out the sewer line from the clean out to the house and out to the alley.  In 2006 this was $150.  In 2010 it had gone up to $175.  Pretty reasonable.  We decided to call them out about 6 months later to prepare for several events at our house.  The line seemed to be slowing down.

The service guy showed up and quoted me a price of $270.  This was almost a $100 more than 6 months previously.  I went in and checked the previous charge to confirm.  When I came back out to question it he gave several reasons.  Having to clean out both ways, price increase.  However, he promptly dropped the price to $180 with a 10% discount.  My BS detector went off and I told him to tell me what I owed for him coming out and for him to pack up.  (I try to be fair in my dealings with people)  He told me there was a $90 charge.  While he was loading up I called the office.  They could not give me a price or explanation of the discrepancy of the charges.  They told me that there should be no charge for him coming out - it was a free estimate.

I contacted their customer service info.  Played phone tag with a guy from the local franchise.  He just kept asking several questions and never gave any real explanation for the behavior or apology.

I will do this service myself in the future or will hire a true local company.

We had a leak in the piping of our roof. Larry came out the next day and took care of it like it was no problem at all. Very courteous and affordable services! Thank you!
