We contacted Schrader Plumbing to get a pipe repaired as well as an estimate for a possible complete pipe replacement. Rafael came out for the estimate - he was very prompt (they gave us a window of 8:30-12:00 and he arrived at 8:30 on the dot), courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. After inspecting our plumbing he determined the overall piping was in working shape and the only issue we had was the pipe we needed repair for. It was refreshing to get a company that does fair assessments and does not try to tack on services/repairs you don't need. He was able to do the repair the same day. Very pleased with the service we received! Thanks!

I called the company to get an estimate on a water softener system. Jason came out (I'm told the owner of the company) on time. He did his thing and when he was done, I also asked for an estimate on replacing my tub. He the told me Give me the weekend and I'll get you an estimate, ok sounds good.
That was it, I never heard from him again. I did call a second time asking about my estimate, and they send him an email, AND! still nothing.  I called back again and told them they lost my business for good.  I just don't understand the lack of response from the owner of the company.

My wife call me at work on Saturday to tell me that they couldn't shut off the shower water after my son took a shower. I was able to walk her through shutting off the main water line to the house and then started looking for a plumber for an emergency call. Searching Yelp I was able to find True Plumbing with a 4 1/2 star rating. They were close to my home and offered 24/7 service, so I made the phone call. To make a long story short they arrive within an hour and had  diagnose the problem and spoke to me about it over the phone. I went ahead and authorize the repair and the issue was resolved within a half an hour. My wife said, after I got home and after Eric had left, that she felt very comfortable with him as did my son. she went on to say that he was very polite and respectful of our property. I can't tell you how much that means to me when you have stranger come into the house and take care of a problem for your family and not have to worry about them while you're not there. Again the problem was solved quickly and correctly and my family felt safe while they were in our home that to me is worth a  rating. I highly recommend you give them a try if you need any plumbing work done.  mb.

Direct source plumbing should be your ONLY option when considering assistance from a professional plumbing service. I have an older home and have called several services in the past, so I have a knowledgeable comparison of service in the DFW Metroplex. What I experienced when David and Kyle came out was uncompromised professional service. They went above and beyond to help me, and even educated me on do it yourself prevention. These men are kind, friendly, fair, experienced, but most of all Results Driven. Lastly, they are reasonably priced, and completely affordable, which is not often the case with local competitors. I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. This gives me comfort also knowing they are servicing my property management clients with the same level of care. Highly recommend.

Phenomenal. Larry and his guys saved my house from an ex-contractor's disaster workmanship. They came out to do the assessment the same day I called them and began work the next morning. They arrived on time, stayed late and stuck to the quote despite the extra 2 days of work that was unexpected. Larry and crew were hardworking, respectful and pleasant to be around. If I ever have any more issues (fingers crossed I don't), I will be calling them.

They didn't even come out. After Augerpros bid such a ridiculous amount, I told Blacktie what I wanted done and how much I thought it was worth, and they scoffed at me and said they would charge even more than Auger Pros wanted. So, naaa, can't afford this kind of pricing. Maybe they get that kind of money working on commercial jobs, but not from me. I just can't pay $1,000 or more for simple repairs like that.

Jeff is a one man team. We called around 7am and he said he'd arrive between 9-11am. He was at the house at about 10:30am. Who doesn't love a plumber who's on time!?

We had a handful of projects for him:

-two different toilet tank problems
-two shower/bath handles not adjusting temperatures appropriately

Jeff quickly diagnosed our water heater problem; replacing the control box and rod. He also fixed all of the other things before 4:15pm. He gave us an excellent price for excellent work. Wow! I was totally impressed by his knowledge, skills, commitment, and courteous manner. We will definitely be using his services again and, highly recommend him and his business.

Pablo was extremely competent fixing an unusual gas pipe problem as well as ordinary plumbing issues with a broken shower. This IS a prompt and reliable plumbing resource. My highest recommendation.

Was looking for a local plumber in Highland Village and through the recommendation of a friend, came across Live Oak Plumbing. I have never had a service show up, literally roll out a red carpet (legitimately) and get the job done in such a professional and quick manner. The owner, Ben, came personally and cleared two clogged sinks, flushed two water heaters, and then even fixed water pressure issues that I had with two separate sinks at no extra charge!  I called the day before and he answered immediately and answered all of my questions.  He then came out the next day, right on time, and completed all of the work.  He gave a written quote BEFORE touching a thing, which was very competitive, and left no room for surprises.  I would hire him again and recommend Ben and his team without hesitation!

I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. Matthews plumbing was able to send out a plumber (Dalton) to us very quickly. We had a burst pipe due to the winter weather. Dalton was great! He was able to find the pipe with limited damage. He even found some exposed wires and was able to mitigate this as best he could. Potentially saving our family from a house fire! We couldn't be more thankful for Matthews plumbing. Thank you!!!!
