Best A/C Repair in Fort Wayne IN
Chad was professional, personable, and very respectful of my home and trust in Gibsons. Every technician I've had out over the years has gone above and beyond to do a good job. I am very satisfied with Chad and Gibsons, as usual.

A while back I called A&A Mechanical to service my Generac generator. I called Generac directly as the home I bought this year came with a large generator. I have never had a generator before and didn't know what needed to be done on it. They gave me a list of companies that service their generators near my home, and A&A was a company within my town. I called and scheduled an appointment with them in a few days. What was great was that I found out from them, that they used to service the generator for the old owner of my house.
They came, performed service on the generator and set it up so I get it serviced once a year. Technician was friendly and explained to me how my generator worked, how it would test the system every week, pretty much gave me a lot of useful info. I am very glad I did get it service because two weeks later, my area lost power for an entire day. Seems some squirrel(s) messed around a nearby electrical substation. Immediately my generator kicked in... and it's an amazing generator powered my entire home! I so could have used this when I lived in Miami during hurricane season! If I didn't get it serviced, I would have been without power and I would have lost a stand alone freezer and a refrigerators worth of food... so I saved a lot of money!
If you have a generator, get regular service.... and get it from A&A!
Seems also per the website they also do work in plumbing, heating and A/C... so something to keep in mind too.

Wonderful company! I can't say enough about them! I needed a water heater replaced and they worked with me to get it done in a timely manner. The customer service was prompt, friendly, and very informative! I couldn't be there for there for the work but my sister said they wore masks and were very friendly and efficient! I would definitely recommend them!!

Very friendly and prompt, as well as fair in pricing. I will warn you though, he is a staunch, outspoken conservative. Some people want to support businesses like that, others do not. I will not be calling on him again because of his comments about politics on social media which I find rude and offensive.

It's not often that a service provider like this (HVAC, eletrical, plumbing) gets such good ratings from me. Normally they're late, not overly pleasant, or just don't seem all that competent. A few months ago we found Korte Does it All and had someone come out to give us a big electrical estimate on some work we wanted done. Mike was professional, knowledgeable, and gave us some good suggestions.
Fast forward a few months and our bathroom outlet keeps tripping the circuit breaker. I went ahead and called Korte and got an appt. scheduled for the next day. (The woman who took my call was friendly and efficient--two qualities that often seem to be missing from people in positions like this, so it was greatly appreciated). The negative is that they give you a 3 hour window, no specific time and not even a 2 hr. window like some other companies. However, they do call before they come out (in our case about 30 minutes before the tech arrived).
Our electrician arrived within the time expected and immediately introduced himself (Corey) to all of us. He was extremely courteous and professional throughout the service call. Moreover, anyone who takes the time to talk respectfully and thoughtfully to my daughter (age 4) and to answer all of her questions automatically earns a high-caliber rating from me. However, not only was Corey kind, he also appears to be competent and skilled at his job (since I'm not an electrician, I can't know for sure, but it sure seemed like he knew what to do). He always informed me of what exactly he was doing (what he was looking for, what the problem was likely to be, etc.) and why the problem may have occurred, what to be on the lookout for in the future, and what to do if there are any more problems.
Given that Corey arrived on time, was thoughtful, respectful, competent, cleaned up all traces of dust and debris (and wore the booties over his shoes to prevent tracking in additional mud), quickly diagnosed and repaired our problem, and even did some of the work from the earlier estimate that we hadn't gotten to yet, I would absolutely recommend this company--or at least their employee, Corey. I think their prices are on par with their competitors, so I definitely plan to call them again for future work. Thanks Korte!

Called them to come out and fix two issues. Explicitly told the person on the phone what was wrong and they said they'd send someone out. Person gets here and takes a quick look.. says there's nothing he can do nor would they normally be able to and recommends another number to call. I get a bill for 0.25hrs at $106/hr and a $79 service call charge for something that should have been stopped on the phone.
I get they need to make money.. but do they expect anyone to call again after that?

Well it was a cold snowy sat morning when the furnace decided to quit. Flow-Tech was the only company I could find that had the part available on a saturday. They knew they could gouge me just because conditions were bad. Price they charged me was 2x's normal cost of the part. The guy tried to justify it by saying he could not separate the cost of labor and material in their system so if I wanted just the part, I had to pay for their labor for me to install the part. He would have wanted another $400 to come out and fix it on a saturday. Can Yelp come up with a grading system that has negative stars, I would use it here.

I recently bought a house and Mr rooter redid the plumbing. They left trash in the basement and ran out of fittings so they left it and got paid for the job. I had to finish the job myself, buy the fittings, glue, primer and throw away all the trash they left.

As a Waterfurnance GeoPro I expected more! Paid extra to get someone out the same day only to then have to wait 5 days ( in 100 degree heat non the less) to have a board replaced. They didn't care that we were without either. Unit was also under warranty! The service manager even tried to compare it to his camping vacation he was on by choice. They do not carry Waterfurnance parts on their trucks and ship parts to their shop in Laotto from Fort Wayne rather than picking up. Huge disservice to the customer. Was not given any other option but to wait. I had to call multiple times to follow up - lack of communication all the way around . Will use someone else next time and would never recommend them to anyone I know.

I wish I could give negative stars because they don't deserve anything at all. Shady employee. First off, I was given a time and nobody showed. I called and was told he was running late. 7pm comes and a guy calls saying he was on his way. 11pm comes and the guy calls again and asks if I want him to come over still or wait until in the morning. I said wait till morning so you can see what you are doing. My roommate or myself had to help him a lot of times because he couldn't get behind the washer or he had to have help for certain thing. I got so annoyed I had to leave for awhile. He was at my house from about 9am to after 10pm and nothing accomplished. Had me pay over $400 in cash so he could tell his boss the reason why he was at my house all day and fixed absolutely nothing was because he was fixing machinery. He said they were taking money out of his pay due to him breaking another piece of equipment that wasn't his fault. So he was going to give them $90 out of it. He was so fat, he bent my gutters trying to get on roof. He NEVER FIXED problem so I have been without a toilet and shower in my main bedroom with stuff coming up through shower when he promised to come back and fix. I tried calling office but she didn't want to listen. I just want to be able to use my bathroom again. That's all!!
