One day whilst going to the basement to do laundry I found a growing puddle under the washer and could hear water running without the washer even on! While turning off the water at the Shut-off valve the handle broke in my hand! This was the start to a series of issues we were facing and needed to get in front of. Rome was very clear and to the point about what we were in for, time wise and costs.

We got buyer's inspection report on Monday night. By Tuesday morning, we had a sewer cleaning scheduled and wanted to have a plumber give us an estimate on a re-scope. These guys bent over backwards to accommodate our deadline. They communicate well, which is so important especially to a homeowner who doesn't deal in the contractor's world often. I hired this company to replace a garbage disposal and replace our kitchen faucet (same sink). They did this and it was not cheap. 10 days later we notice that underneath our kitchen sink is damp and has 1-2 of water damage under the sink (which was never there before). Then we discover that there is water dripping straight down from the kitchen sink into our finished basement. Water damage and paint peeling already visible in basement. I called Pipe it Up at 7:30pm on a Friday night (they offer 24/7 emergency service) and they said they have no one to come help us. They offered no apology or acknowledgment of the damage that was done to our house. We are going to have to hire a water damage company but I can't even get someone out here to stop the leak that they caused. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They say they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee but they do not stand behind this claim. After spending $600+ with this company, we are now left with thousands $$$ in water damage we now have to repair, a big leak under our kitchen sink, a kitchen we can't use, and Pipe it Up hasn't returned my calls since the first one last night. They referred me to a company that does not repair leaks, only repairs mold/water damage. At this point I just want them to fix the leak they caused but I'm still waiting for a return call. Not happy with this company.
