We hired Jay for a difficult project that no other TV installer wanted to attempt.  The challenge was to stack 2 TVs on top of each other in a cabinet that opens on the back and front, with a view from 2 rooms.  Jay stacked them and was able to create a swivel of 180 degrees so that either or both TVs could be viewed from either room at will.  We live in a loft and Jay managed to give us a sleek, functional design that also mimicked the architecture of our home.  Really nice and exactly what we wanted!

Do not use this company. They are gouging prices. I found a plumber who would just repair my water heater.

They tried to charge $3000 dollars and came with a water heater thinking I would finance it. Absolutely not!

Did a good job of coordinating a two-fer plumbing plus electrical job and getting city permits.  Moved a laundry washer box and electrical outlets and then replaced the main electrical panel, added whole house surge protector and car charge outlet.  Donnie was helpful in referring a drywall company they regularly use who also did well.  They were also very reasonable on pricing.

I had called Andy for an installation of a surge protector for the whole house in a newly constructed house. Andy was very competent and extremely professional. He instantly told me that the house already had a protector installed in the current breaker board. Thats integrity ! Loved it. I will absolutely call him for any future work.

I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. These guys are phenomenal! They responded very quickly! I had water coming out of the ground from my sprinkler system. They didn't hesitate to send a technician out immediately! He arrived right away, assessed the situation, and fixed the problem on site. If you're looking for a reliable company that won't break the bank, do not hesitate to use these guy!!!! 5 star all the way!

I would never use this company they are terrible and their driver is an idiot and will cut you off and then flip you off

Question their integrity and honesty.   Reasons why I do:
1)  2 Techs arrived promptly on time in mid-afternoon.  Noticed their shirts nice, clean and fresh.  I would have expected them to be tardy and some wrinkleness, sweat and dirt from working thru the morning. Their hands and nails very clean.
2)  When they inspected AC unit, they brought no tools with them to the unit.  One look and pronounced compressor to be permanently dead.  I ask them to check freon level.  They said no need b/c compressor absolutely dead.
3)  Quoted $2800 for new compressor with 2-3 weeks delivery time.  $3800 for new condenser (outside) unit.  Being middle of July, I needed cool air bad and had no extra time to schedule a 2nd opinion from another company.
4)  To their credit, they had new condenser installed by day's end.
5)  2 weeks later AC system got warm, no cooling.  Their tech came out and said I need a new upstairs (evaporator coil) unit.  Quoted another $3500 for an upstairs unit.  He added a bit of freon and left after I told him I wanted another opinion.
6)  Got 2nd opinion from another AC company.  He evaluated whole situation and said root problem was low freon from leak in evap coil.  The low freon kept my original compressor shut down as safety for the condenser unit.  Original condenser was probably still very good.    He fixed the leak and now all is still good 2 months later.

I saw the previous bad comments from other reviews concerning A#1 Air, about their pushy sales tactics and lack of proper diagnosis, on this site and others.  My fault for ignoring the comments and for trusting the many radio and TV ad campaigns they have going on.

I hired Hiho Handyman for painting, flooring and lighting in my kitchen and bathroom and was very satisfied.  They exceeded my expectations in every way and cleaned up after they were finished.    This is an honest, five star company.  I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.
