They're great painters, painted our whole house.  They can also handle pretty much anything else including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical. They have been doing work for my family for years. Kelley is the type of person I love to work with. She is quiet and simply takes care of the job! The MOST important part of working with Kelley is her honesty. We asked Kelley to install 3 ceiling fans in our home and 2 went smoothly to completion. However, on the third one, she ran into an issue in our 66 year old home, where there were two circuits running into the box, and unfortunately, had wiring so old it could not be used. In this case, Kelly indicated that she should not proceed, but that we should get a licensed and insured electrician to assess the current wiring and repair/replace if needed. This level of honesty is critical, as she could have proceeded, but we could have ended up with bigger issues down the road with the wiring.

Kelley is a pleasure to be around and I HIGHLY recommend her for handywoman jobs around your home. Kelley will be open and honest about what she should or should not do in your home, and this is extremely import ant in the case above.

So far I've had them install a dishwasher in my old/outdated kitchen, and had them pour some concrete for my front yard. Both jobs were done very well, in a reasonable amount of time, and for a fair price.

I have more work for them in the future. I appreciate their hard work and professionalism!

Today Ideal Plumbing was out to fix two toilets, put a new cartridge in our shower, and put a new laundry sink and faucet in garage.  Dustin was efficient, professional and went over and beyond in installing our new sink. He anchored it to the wall and floor, and put a new and more efficient end to the drain pipe from the washer. We highly recommend Ideal Plumbing!  We have used them for years and their service is always superb!

Our water heater was not working.  It turned out the pilot light was out due to a recent Power outage.  The technician was able to get the pilot light on again within minutes.  He said he didn't need to do anything else and wanted to charge us $75 as a maintenance call.  However the owner insisted charging the full $150 as a service call and wouldn't budge.  Even the technician tried to get him to reduce the price since he spent less than 5 minutes at our place.  I will never call Point Loma Electric again.
