Best Flooring Installation in Chicago IL

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Chicagoland handyman. I was looking for a handyman to complete a few projects in my home. The repairman that I initially spoke with over the phone was super responsive and very polite.

I was so impressed by the Yelp reviews and by the phone call that I immediately scheduled an appointment with him. After I finished setting up the service appointment we discussed the time, location, and other details. I immediately placed an order from my local hardware store and to have all the items (appliances) shipped to my home.

The day before the scheduled appointment the repairman messaged me that he made a mistake and that he was supposed to schedule my appointment for the following day. He also mentioned that I did not send him a deposit to lock in my appointment as if I lost the appointment due to not paying him a deposit. I was confused! We never discussed a deposit or a deposit amount when I spoke with the handyman over the phone. I did not see the other Yelpers reference in their post anything about Zelle quick paying their repairman for a deposit. I thought something was odd I immediately thanked him for his time and told him I would not need his company to complete the repairs!

Martin is an excellent handyman and a reminder of why it's best to leave it to the professionals.

I had several pending home projects, and he completed them quickly and accurately. He even offered suggestions on where certain items should be placed.

I highly recommend this company for any home projects.

Just completed my second job KBN Homes, planning a third. Skill set allows for completion of a variety of repairs at reasonable prices.  Having one person to contact on all repairs reduces the annoying search cost of matching repair with vendor.  Solid recommendation.

Friendly, fast and very knowledgeable.  We needed a handyman to come and re-attach our stove hood that fell off the wall the previous night.  Andrew was here the next morning and fixed it better than before.  Would definitely use him again.

Can't recommend Welter Home Service enough!  Kevin provided quality service at a very fair price.  More importantly to me, he was always staying in communication with me and punctual.  I would suggest you talk to him for any contractor needs and see for yourself!

Gus is fantastic! Reliable, efficient and very helpful with all our handyman needs. He has given us great advice and installed some light fixtures, fixed plumbing issues and other electrical work. I know that we will use his handyman services in the future! Highly recommend.

Jason was fantastic. He was extremely professional, gave many options and was very reasonably priced. We had multiple items that needed to be done around the house. Throughout the initial walk thru, Jason constantly gave great suggestions and feedback. If there was something he was not able to do or felt that a different expert could do it better he would say so. He'd explain what needed to be done and what I could expect for pricing for parts as well as labor. While replacing our chandelier, the chandelier we had chosen would not work given the prior owner had caused some damages to the drywall so a flush mount was needed. Jason walked us thru different options and did not want us to be without a front entrance or to be waiting and immediately picked out our new choice and had it installed. While at the store he went thru multiple boxes of the new lighting we had choose until he found one where the box was not damaged. Not only did he make sure that the fixture was in tact, but he did not even charge for the time spent having to shop for the light. Our basement has some halogen lights that sometimes were not turning on immediately. He diagnosed the problem and did not try to push for us to replace what was needed as the lights worked and as long as we were ok with the short start delay it was not a hazard or would cause any other issues. For every project Jason made sure to confirm exactly what we wanted before performing the task and then afterwards would walk us thru what was done and if we needed to be aware of anything. I highly recommend Jason as he does great work, is trustworthy, and works to save you money but not at the expense of quality. Jason is extremely sought after so be prepared to be on a waiting list but he is well worth the wait.

No Call. No Show. No Response. Had a new kitchen sink and faucet installation scheduled for this morning at 8:00. Cristian and I spoke on the phone and via text, I sent photos at his request, and he gave me a price of $500 for the job. I reached out last night to confirm the installation this morning, but I received no response. I tried calling and texting this morning as well but received no answer and no response. It's now after 9:00... At least I didn't give these guys any money.
