I recently had two plumbing problems that needed the attention of a professional.  First, my shower drain had gone from slow to stop and with company in town I certainly didn't want us all sharing a bathroom.  Second, an outside spigot was continuously running and sending my water bill into the triple-digits.  After being stood-up by another handyman, James and his crew came out on a snowy night and worked overtime to efficiently correct both problems.  

They were courteous, communicative, and happy to share a few pro tips that we'll employ next time we have a serious bathroom drain clog.  We will need to separately patch the hole in the drywall that was required to repair the outside spigot, but that's a small job and worth the effort given the responsiveness and affordability of 007 Handyman.

We just recently replaced our furnace, Hvac compressor, hot water heater and put on a brand new deck in our back yard.  Everything went amazingly smooth.  Carlos was the upmost professional and very responsive to our questions and requests.  We ended up adding on additional work at the end because he did such a great job with the initial contract.  Without hesitation- I would recommend C&S to anyone looking to do any home improvement.  He does it all and does it all very well!

I live in Michigan and have property in McLean, VA.
After the last hard winter in Virginia the windows and patio doors were damaged by adverse weather and careless tenants in the McLean property.  So I decided to fix the affected Windows or replace them based on feasibility either alternative.  Naturally my first  couple of stops were the 2-big box home stores.  Mind you, since I live in Michigan I went to the stores here and asked for competitive bids for work and material to be performed in McLean.  They both provided estimates and were in excess of $30k.  I asked for the itemized costs and they would not offer that.  So,  I researched and found L. Lugo General contractors.  Called up Mr. Luis Lugo (a very fine gentleman)  and he had the windows' measurements done and an estimate provided with costs itemized.  His bid was almost 45% less than the least expensive bid by Home Depot!  The proposed windows were top of the line fiberglass Marvin Windows.  Much better the big-box chain store contractor grade brands.  He was on time, on schedule, within the budget and most impressively he sent me photos and videos of the work as it was progressing.  He made suggestions where necessary. Remember, I am in Michigan and his company is doing the work in Virginia so this was all long distance.  I highly recommend him.

Called them on a Monday morning for an emergency drain backup and Jon was at the house that afternoon.  Got right to work, found the problem with the camera and quickly were able to clean the drain.  Fast response and great service, I can highly recommend this small family-owned business.  I will definitely use them for all my plumbing needs.

After moving into my new house, I needed to reinforce a load bearing support beam in my basement. I had a schematic drawn up from a structural engineer and contacted three contractors for estimates. Not only was Lee the most responsive of the three, but he was the only one who didn't try to up-sell me on the repairs. I showed him what needed to be done and he provided me with a fully itemized estimate for exactly what the engineer said needed to be done. The others sent me generic estimates for more work than I had requested and were significantly more expensive than Lee.

Lee and his team was able to reinforce the beam to the engineers' specifications and afterwards I couldn't even tell where they cut into the drywall. It looked exactly as it did before the repair.

Since then, I've also had Lee fix my living room ceiling and do some repairs on my roof to prevent further water damage. He always responds to emails quickly and his quotes are extremely reasonable. I'd recommend Lee to anyone who needs home repairs.
