Clover came out quickly and offered the best pricing to look at an issue we had with our heating system during the coldest months this winter. The first time they came out, they identified one issue, but it didn't help. I called them and they came back out right away and did a deeper assessment. This time, they found the real issue and resolved it right away. I wasn't charged for the second service visit, just the parts and labor to fix the issue. The technician was very pleasant and genuinely wanted to help us. He felt bad that he missed the issue the first time around. I would recommend you use. Plus they had an online coupon that I used for the initial diagnostic.

Ruach Home Services just completed a bathroom-closet remodel project for me. From the very start, Ruach has been wonderful to work with through the various stages of this construction process. Notably, from the speedy and detailed estimating phase through trouble-shooting random challenges uncovered from our previous lazy, amatuer builders. There has been efficient coordination of a variety of team members, all who display a diligent work ethic and specific skill sets, with high-quality craftmanship, attention to detail, clean and organized work spaces, and daily reliability. Mr. Harvey and his team were accommodating in adding on extra tasks that cropped up at an affordable price. They always left the project area clean and organized and were respectful when working in the common areas. Mr. Harvey was always available to answer questions along the way and was super speedy in researching possible solutions to unforeseen challenges that came about. I would highly recommend their services and am already saving up for their next project to improve my home.

David came to our home to discuss installation of a water filtration system for our kitchen. Instead of simply selling me what I asked about, he interviewed me about the load the system would handle and about skin/hair health and water use in general. We purchased a home water filtration system instead so that our laundry, cooking, and bathing have the benefit of high-quality water. This is important because we drink a lot of tea and coffee through our instant hot water system, and lots of plain water, so clean water and ice was important. We also cook 98% of the meals we cook so again, healthy water is key. Lastly, my husband and 85 year-old mother had skin sensitivities before the home water filtration system installation, but no longer. And, I felt like the price--installation labor and materials--was fair. We've loved the system the two years we've had it. David recommended we set a calendar reminder for filter changing. The company is coming out soon to do that for us. Looking forward to having them and appreciate the enhanced quality of living David has provided with his expertise.

James responded quickly to our request on thanksgiving evening. He was able to solve our clogged kitchen sink issue quickly once he arrived. So thankful we found him!

We just recently replaced our furnace, Hvac compressor, hot water heater and put on a brand new deck in our back yard. Everything went amazingly smooth. Carlos was the upmost professional and very responsive to our questions and requests. We ended up adding on additional work at the end because he did such a great job with the initial contract. Without hesitation- I would recommend C&S to anyone looking to do any home improvement. He does it all and does it all very well!

I cannot recommend Luis and the entire LLugo, LLC team enough for any home renovation--large or small. I don't think you can find anyone in the DMV area or beyond who will devote so much time and attention to every detail of your project and care so deeply about the outcome and his clients' satisfaction. I will not hesitate to call him again for future renovations.
I was referred to Luis by a friend who had an outstanding experience with LLugo for her master suite renovation, and I have subsequently referred Luis to friends and neighbors for their home renovations. I've heard nightmare stories about general contractors who take your deposit and, once the contract is signed, never show up on site again and are unreachable. For the duration of our five-month project Luis was ALWAYS reachable for questions or concerns and was on site every week. His communication was incredible, day or night, weekends, holidays--it didn't matter. He wanted us to understand what was going on with the project and make sure we were fully informed and comfortable with the steps his crew was taking. Luis also has an amazing team. Beto was our foreman for the project and he became like family, along with Juan who was on site every day. The whole team is extremely professional, kind and considerate. We have shared walls with our neighbors and LLugo's policies go a long way to helping with the inevitable inconvenience of a renovation next door: no smoking, no music, no shouting. Another surprise during the process of working with LLugo is how clean they leave the work site every day. Every single day the construction site is swept and cleaned-there's no trash or debris left sitting around. They also sealed the renovation site from the rest of the house to provide some sense of privacy and to avoid dust from entering the rest of the house.
Our project was extensive- Luis and his team demoed the entire second floor of our home down to the studs, completely re-framed a new footprint, and built out two new bedrooms and two new bathrooms and added new windows. Luis tackled every aspect of our project-soup to nuts. Before we even decided to hire him for our project Luis met with us in person, walked through the space, created a design proposal and then revised the proposal numerous times based on our feedback. We did not use an architect, or a designer, and we didn't need one with Luis. He also handled all permitting and dealt with the historic preservation office for us. Luis also provided us with a detailed estimate that included every imaginable line item plus allowances for our decisions on finishes. He walked us through the estimate patiently explaining every aspect and answering our questions. There were no pressure tactics to get us to rush to sign. Our home is 125 years old so there were some real surprises underneath the sub floor and behind the walls that required major structural work. Luis handled these unexpected challenges calmly and professionally. He and his team were able to address every issue and walk us through every step.

I had a great experience with this business. I needed my toilet replaced, and he was flexible, professional, and very friendly. I'm going to keep using Vicente Construction as I renovate my home, and they do very high quality work inexpensively!

Yessir is a very experienced plumber. He did a couple of complex projects for me with perfection, provided few plans, were upfront about costs and materials and risks.
And it was fun to work with him. Will hire him again for my projects

Shortly after posting the previous review, the owner reached out to apologize and offered to send someone else out to scope the job again to give me an estimate. I explained again that I already had the work done. He then said he wanted me to remove my review. Several months later, the owner has now reached out on social media name calling and telling me I better think before sharing any more of my experiences with local merchants.

After moving into my new house, I needed to reinforce a load bearing support beam in my basement. I had a schematic drawn up from a structural engineer and contacted three contractors for estimates. Not only was Lee the most responsive of the three, but he was the only one who didn't try to up-sell me on the repairs. I showed him what needed to be done and he provided me with a fully itemized estimate for exactly what the engineer said needed to be done. The others sent me generic estimates for more work than I had requested and were significantly more expensive than Lee.
Lee and his team was able to reinforce the beam to the engineers' specifications and afterwards I couldn't even tell where they cut into the drywall. It looked exactly as it did before the repair.
Since then, I've also had Lee fix my living room ceiling and do some repairs on my roof to prevent further water damage. He always responds to emails quickly and his quotes are extremely reasonable. I'd recommend Lee to anyone who needs home repairs.
