Best Electric Water Heater Installation in Virginia Beach VA
Jason's an awesome guy and offers a fair price. Had him come and diagnose a leak in my house. Come to find out it was an HVAC issues. But he explained everything to me clearly so I was able to understand what was going on and also recommended an HVAC guy who came and resolved the issues. Jason was responsive and communicated with my the time he was available. Will definitely be contacting him again it I have any other issues.

This was not the first time I have used them and will not be the last. From multiple broken pipes, to faucet leaks, to AC help, to most recently the hot water heater. I love these guys. They are caring, knowledgeable, and quick to get the job done. When they come to service your home they make you feel like the only customer for the day and go above and beyond. When installing my hot water heater that is next to my dryer they took the time to help me with my lint trap and went the extra mile with sweeping behind the dryer to clean it up. (Not even their mess). I would recommend these guys and will only use them moving forward.

The fault switch on my HVAC unit had cut off and needed to be repaired/replaced. The original company quoted an astronomical amount for what appeared to be relatively simple job, so I set about the task of identifying someone who is trustworthy. Thank you YELP! I called Bill b/c of the excellent reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Not only did he come on the same day I called, but the charge was one-third (I kid you not!) what I was quoted from the other company. When I described the problem, he knew what I was talking about immediately, so I knew I found the right man for the job. He agreed to pick up the replacement part, although it wasn't a certainty that it would be needed. He and his associate, Morris, thoroughly tested the part and confirmed the fault switch was, in fact, cutting off. As a result, he replaced the part and, again, tested it thoroughly to ensure it was fully functioning. He also explained what to do in the event the system got clogged. However, given how professional, courteous, reasonably-priced and down-right nice Bill is... I'll just give him a call if there's ever a problem.

This is the second time I've used Plumbing Unlimited because they did such a great job the first time. I was not disappointed! This time I called on Thursday afternoon and Lamont was here Friday morning. He has the knowledge and confidence to put a homeowner at ease. I will not hesitate to call them again for any type of plumbing issues.

We called them with an issue at work. They came out first thing in the morning and were helpful with educating us with what needed to happen. When one of the workers needed advice, the owner Paul came directly over. Now THAT is customer service at it's finest!!!

Very professional! Terry was out at my house within an hour of me calling. They fixed my problem and showed me how to keep it from happening again. Very personable and knowledgeable I definitely recommend them!

Mine is just an observation, of professionalism and what I perceived as genuine concern and pride in a job well done.
The team work of the persons at the site and the patience of the guy leading to explain their progress and the vision of the task at hand... I found to be impressive.
Should I own a home/ have a home built, or be abreast of someone in the process of needing their services.. I have the number on hand

Came out broke knob and said it would be $850 and would be back in 3 days. They called on 3rd day to cancel. They charged $200 just to come out and make our problem worse then didn't care. Also, we got another plumber, Conner's Services and they came within an hour and fixed it for $200! Not only were they unreliable but they wanted to charge us 4 times another plumber charged- they did refund the $200 but I would not recommend them-

We had a pipe burst under the slab. The A1 plumber recommended a complete re-pipe of the house, which we agreed to for a certain price. During the work, other items came up and the plumber requested we pay in cash, totaling almost $900 extra. As it turned out, he was ripping us off.
A month later, A1 called and asked if we had problems with that particular plumber. I explained the situation, and all of the unresolved issues the plumber left; banging pipes and some sloppy workmanship. A1 promised to make things right, and did send another plumber out. The 2nd plumber did not fix anything and the problems still exist. We've called A1 and they say they'll have the 2nd plumber call us back, but he never does. Now, I'll have to call another company to repair the unresolved issues A1 promised to fix and didn't.
For me, the moral of the story is that A1 will lie to you. I highly recommend finding a different plumbing company.

Bought our house a year ago- came with a Nest thermostat. It's worked fine for a year, last week I got an error code about it needing to be re-wired. I called several people before deciding on having American Mechanical come out- I chose them because they charged the lowest diagnostic fee ($85) when others range from $99-150 plus they were able to come out within two business days.
We were told they needed to replace a contactor and given a quote of $487 for the part- plus our diagnostic fee of $85.
I guess it's my fault for not being an HVAC specialist- but I really feel like I got duped. I have to have A/C at home, I have pets with health issues so of course I told them to fix it.
After doing some research after getting my invoice-- the contactor they replaced costs between $11 and $40 to purchase. I understand there is a mark up when selling a product or a service- but I felt over $400 was a HUGE mark up.
I contacted them at the office today and asked if line items were missing from my invoice and I was told, no, that's what we charge for that part
So, I guess if you're in a BAD PINCH- they can fix your problem. It'll only cost you your first born child.
I let them know that I appreciated the quick turn around but after this experience we will never use their services again.

Sonny's folks do a good job if and when they show up to do the work and you can afford to wait. Called on a Monday the response from the dispatcher was someone will call you when they are on the way out. Assumption was we'd be there whenever that time came. This review is being written 48 hours later. Like many small outfits residential service generally sinks to the bottom of the priority list. BTW not cheap either.

They do not do work up to code, steal tools and personal property and never finish a job that they are paid for. Jason and Melissa are both con artists. They were paid in full for a job and didn't even complete it. On top of stealing over 1k of items from the home. The owner of the trailer is not happy, never was. Took them to court and they never showed but were quick to file bankruptcy to clear the judgement.
Funny that 2 of the reviews are from Melissa Bond herself.

This guy is very rude and a rip off artist. He charged me $700 for changing a fan capacitor in my A/C and replaced the wire ends that hooked to it, he charged me for a bunch of stuff he didn't do, and I had to have another company come out and rework his work where he used the wrong wire connectors and the A/C only worked two days before the wire connectors he used fell off. Then he had 100 excuses why he doesn't guarantee his work. Don't trust anything this guy says . He should not be allowed to touch anything on an A/C. He could have burnt down my house. He is just looking to gouge who ever he does work for, BEWARE!!!!!.
