Best Electrical Panel Installat… in Seattle WA
We've moved to Seattle from Pittsburgh in the last year, and something we've noticed is that customer service here (especially in regards to the housing market) is severely lacking. I'm assuming because there is such a great need contractors, etc, no longer feel the need to provide great service. Purchasing and servicing a new house in this market has been brutal! Each person we've had has been ok, but really, really subpar in comparison to any city other than Seattle. I get it, they don't need the business, so they don't have to try. However, SeaTown Electric was outstanding from start to finish - regardless of the geographic location! They have been timely, polite, communicative, and overall leaps and bounds better than any other contract-type business I've come across in Seattle. I would highly recommend their service!
From the beginning when Matt came for a free estimate, he diagnosed something as a quick fix, that another electrician was ready to rip open our walls for an exploratory search. Today we had Blake and his apprentice service the job order, and they were fast, friendly, and efficient! Immediately after the job was finished the SeaTown dispatch called to make sure everything was up to our liking, which I think was just above and beyond. They're also super great with sending emails reflecting estimates, appointments, technicians, etc. Great company!!

I called Dean at 9pm Sunday for help with an issue that I thought was plumbing related. He attended to it right away. He was very thorough, professional and helpful. He identified the problem and guided me on how I could possibly get that fixed. I highly appreciate his help and look forward to work with him in future if needed.

The original repair fixed one issue but our 10+ year old water heater was still running and making tons of noise (b/c of lack of maintenance prior to buying the house). We had Mike Morris (plumber) and Brandon Arellano (apprentice) out to replace our tankless water heater and fix our condensation tubes and connect them to the exterior. They did a tremendous job of explaining the work, keeping the work place tidy, and completing the job on time. I am so grateful for a job well done and will definitely call South West again for our future needs

Terrible experience. Cost $550 to replace a cartridge- 1 hour of work. Was originally going to do more expansive work that would cost $1200 and then we asked if there was another solution simply for a leaky shower faucet.- that is when the cartridge was replaced. Completed the work, apprentice on the way out stated It must be nice to be rich- something along those lines and left. A few weeks later it starts leaking again (this was in the fall). Husband did the same work, bought another cartridge that cost $50 and now its working well.

I should have read the reviews before calling Beacon. Don't use them unless you are ready to be charged $300 an hour (minimum) for their presence.
I was charged for a much more complex job and then when he figured out it was just a matter of snaking the pipe, he kept the price and claimed he was doing me a favor.
Total rip off.

I had a septic alarm issue and called them at 7:00 a.m. They had a technician out to my house within a couple house. Dante was very professional and did a great job explaining what was happening with my septic. The customer service was exceptional from the call I made in the morning to when the technician left our house. I would highly recommend them.

The work order copy we received from Beacon Plumbing was not readable for the work done for re-igniting the pilot light on our gas water heater.. No explanation to what miscellaneous repair work meant since it was just lighting the pilot light. Service Tech did not mention a senior discount or invite us to share our experience for an added discount.
The fee to just re-ignite the pilot light was for $229.00 plus tax plus the $75.00 trip fee. The bill total was$330.75, Yikes!
We e-mailed Beacon about the work order but did not received an e-mail back. Called the Beacon's Service Department twice before getting a call back and the manager said he would send us a readable copy of the work order. When talking to the manager he suddenly said he had an emergency call coming in and hung up on me so couldn't finish the conversation. My wife started Freakin when she saw the bill from Beacon.

I called while we were selling our house. All our outbuildings had no power all of a sudden. The technician sent was prompt and friendly. Our power was back on within an hour. Prices were very reasonable and I am very pleased with the service. With other electricians I have used I felt like they would find more problems than necessary to charge more money. That was not the case with Resicon. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Had them come out to replace my water heater that had failed earlier in the day. They were prompt and responsive, which was nice. The quote to replace the regular water heater was $2700. We mentioned while initially talking to the tech, that we were thinking about a tankless option. They quoted $8k for that. My wife and I went inside to think about it because it was sticker shock. While inside, the tech heard a hissing noise at the water main in the curb. We came out to talk to him about the water heater and he mentioned the water main was leaking and he could fix it for $3000. We were dumbfounded and decided to shop around. He then said he could lower the water heater quote to $1600. We asked him to leave. My parents know a plumber that we had do the water heater install for $1100. He also looked at the water main and fixed it since since it took 5 minutes. Our plumber was shocked at the prices they quoted. Harts' seem to take advantage of emergency situations and when people aren't knowledgeable about the situation. In these times with the health crisis happening in our area, it would be nice if businesses didn't take advantage.

I can't speak to the quality of their work, but we had them come out to give us a quote for a complete repipe of our house. The person who came out made weird comments about how fancy our instruments were (we have a cello) and when we asked questions about some of our current pipes they gave us wrong answers (we asked these questions as a way of determining how knowledgeable/trustworthy they are). When it came to the quote, they gave us a quote for about $34,0000 pex, or about $50,000 copper. This is pretty crazy high, so we decided to go with someone else who did a great job and only cost about 13,000 for pex. They've since left multiple voicemails asking me to call back to discuss their insane quote and have been sending unsolicited spam emails. Since they don't take my non-response as enough of an answer, I decided to write this review.

Scheduled furnace maintenance via website, received a call within a few hours, and was able to schedule a maintenance for the following week.
Technician (Alex Ross) arrived at scheduled time, and quickly got to work after asking relevant questions about system. I just had my carpets cleaned earlier in the day, however he already had covers for his shoes upon entering my home.
After taking him to my attic entry, he provided me with a booklet to go over some pertinent information about their services, and discussed what he was going to do. He also clearly gave an estimate as to how long the maintenance will take.
Mid-way through he brought down the furnace blower fan, and showed me some of the build-up. The system was 3-years old, and hadn't been serviced since install. There was some buildup which he pointed out, and described how it wasn't too bad, but that lack of maintenance would decrease efficiency, thus increase energy bill. He also showed me the capacitor, and described how it was performing, and that it is also another component that eventually causes issues. He took the fan outside to clean it, and re-installed it.
Upon completion, he offered to take a look at my tank-less water heater, and took down some information, should I choose to use their service for maintenance/repairs of that.
Wrapping up, I was provided a Home Efficiency Form, showing high-level information about the home, and maintenance provided. I was also presented with the offer of signing up for their Service Club Membership, however this did not feel like a high-pressure sales push, which was fine. He also offered to answer any questions I had, and provided some insight into installing an A/C unit in my home.
Overall, website, and responsiveness was good, initial price quoted over the phone, matched what the technician invoiced me for which was great, shoe booties were a nice touch. Additionally, the technician cleaned up the insulation that fell from my attic when he accessed my unit. Price seemed appropriate, but I believe that was a first-time customer promotion.
